Great museum of modern art. But good modern art, still understandable for a normal mortal like me. Located in a former textile factory which still can be recognized. Very minimalist but also very stylish. Good restaurant too.

The building used to house a weaving factory, which explains the large spaces now used for the exhibitions I was not impressed by the art but as always: beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There is a café but the service was so slow that I decided to leave the queue after ten minutes.

Nice middle-sized museum. A few different rooms for you to explore. Diverse artists are exposed. The place is not crowded as exposition room are quite big. Peaceful museum with a cute little garden. There is also a cosy coffee inside. You can get really close to the works of arts, immersive experience. The staff is friendly. Recommend :)

I like this museum; nice airy space with good lighting, not too big, modern art. Now they show varied work of Rafaella Vogel. Very impressive and sometimes confrontational. Go and see for yourself

On my regular visits to The Netherlands this is always an essential visit, with a changing series of temporary exhibitions and inspiring shows. It's never too busy when I've visited so the vast space, a former factory, so there's plenty of space to enjoy the works and let them breathe.

(Translated by Google) The Pont museum is a museum for contemporary art in the North Brabant city of Tilburg. The museum's founder and namesake is the lawyer and entrepreneur Jan de Pont (1915-1987). Shortly before his death, he determined that part of his assets should be used to stimulate contemporary visual art. Under the leadership of the first director, Hendrik Driessen, it was decided to convert a former wool spinning mill in Tilburg into a museum. Since opening in 1992, the collection has grown to more than 800 works by approximately 80 nationally and internationally renowned artists, including Marlene Dumas, Bill Viola and Anish Kapoor.

Wow! A rich history in the origin of this building. Started as a factory and after remodeling, it's a museum. Excellent collection and a good range of food options in the restaurant. Do bring a euro piece for the lockers.

Contemporary Arts, expects us to think beyond our imagination, it removes one from the comfort zone of looking at art from a simple perspective. By observing the arts and reading makes one realize that things are not always as they seem. We have to get closer and deeper in order to understand what we face. The art at DE Pont made me look at life trom a different point of view. Some artist paint what they feel while others paint what they see. I observed all the art with a focused heart and realized that there is more than one way to look at arts, The museum is presented in a creative way, there is so much room for artists to showcase their art. I didn't get to see all art because I came an hour before the museum could close. I recommend the museum for people of all ages but mostly for the art students because by observing the art, they can receive more information.

Situated in a former textile factury, needless to say the architecture was great and they turned into a very light and open space. I am no modern art buff but they had some fun pieces, definitely check out the wax room if you happen yo be there.

It was a great experience. While there are not an overwhelming amount of pieces displayed, there are really nice descriptions and interpretations on the walls and in the brochure. Friendly staff. Well curated displays. The cafe is overpriced. Nice touch that posters can be purchased in the gift store

A great museum in a fantastic location. It is modern art and I have certainly liked some exhibits better than others, but still well worth a visit. Kapoor's "shard" can be seen for free next to their entrance, it is a great way to invite people in .

Museum that showcase a lot of artsy item, like sculpture, paintings, figure, and many more. They also have cafetaria with good pancakes.

This is a good modern art museum, and a rather young one, having been established only in the early 2000s after an endowment of its namesake. It is located in a former factory which has been nicely repurposed. This allows great flexibility in the inteiror design and partitions. In addition to interesting exhibitions, it also has a relationship with several contemporary Dutch, European and some other artists from further afield, with frequent commissions of new works specifically for the museum collection. As such, it breathes some freshness that sometimes is lacking in similar modern contemporary art and it is well worth the visit.
