The location was great and the menu looked good. We got a great table by the open windows overlooking the square because it was a bit too windy outside to eat comfortably. The food was flavourful, but: - The rice was very underdone. Nearly unforgivable for a Mexican place - the portion of grilled veggies, ostensibly the core ingredient in the vegetarian fajitas, was so small it wasn’t initially clearly visible among the garnishes. Whilst we were deciding whether to mention these issues to the waiter, he started loudly arguing with a patron at their table about a small detail of their order (chips vs tortillas as the accompaniment to their 16€+ main dish, I think). After a couple minutes the waiter inside began a loud discussion at the bar with the other waiter about this customer and how bad they were for asking for a replacement accompaniment. Admittedly we are American, but polite Americans, and this _wasn't_ a case of "the customer is always right", it was simply rude service. It was great to see a potential good Mexican place in the south of NL, but Tortillas should work on their food quality and waitstaff attitude if they want to live up to the potential.

The waitress and setting are nice but the food is horrible. Worst than a drunken college student’s midnight snacks made of random stuff in the fridge. Cucumbers baked under cheese on plain tortillas, warm margarita…

This is not Mexican food....goat cheese and apples in quesadillas?! My elote came as a plain corn on the cob with no cheese or seasoning. If you are latino or are used to authentic food, avoid this place!

Portions seem to have gotten smaller since the last time I went there, also missed the tum tum's at the end, but quality was still good, friendly and speedy service at a very decent price.

I was looking forward to an “Authentic” burrito, but unfortunately it wasn’t. The tortilla was dry and tasted like a cracker, had no beans or lettuce or good tasting salsa inside. Served alone on a plate, no rice and beans with it. I also had the nachos- you need to get better tortilla chips. Also where is the ground beef? Where is the salsa?

Nice food, reasonable price in a good location. However, it took them very long for food preparation and it’s weird to me that the waitresses didn’t wear masks 🤧

Food was good!

It was quite a busy time when I was there. Lots of clients but the waiters were doing their best. Drinks took a bit longer but we were already warned beforehand so that was ok. We took a five course menu. The food was quite delicious and a lot! When finally the main menu came I could hardly eat it!!! It was just quite generous portions so if you are a big eater this is the place to go! The borritos could definately use more sauce.

Lovely Mexican experience in the heart of Breda. Decor gives it a lovely warm Mexican feeling, while the food and drink fits the theme perfectly. Nice variety of Tequila to sample and staff are happy to help in English as well #Mexican #Tequila
