Great experience. Just opened for the season (April 24), and things will definitely run smoother through through season. The presentations are what really give the full adventure. Wood shoe making, cheese making, butter churning, school house, and of course Dutch dancing. Try every flavor of cheese and every flavor of fudge. Ice cream shop and a pub with good (slightly overpriced, as expected) food. Indoor and outdoor seating for both. There are also a few rides and a couple different playgrounds, the kids will definitely be entertained. Bathrooms (either porta-potty or indoors) leave a little to be desired, but aren't the worst ever.

Fun place to visit. I loved taking my kids since I went as a kid in the early 90s - not much has changed. I think the rides and attractions mostly appeal to kids under 10. If I were visiting without young children I would stick to the gift shop and not bother with paying admission for anything past that. The gift shop was large and full of beautiful, tasty, and interesting things. The demonstrations, dancing, and authentic costume dress is very neat. We picked up some nice souvenirs and yummy cheese and fudge treats.

It’s a must visit place accordingly to me if you are visiting Holland MI. Kids will love this place. My daughter simply loves this place. Pros: * Decent entry fees(They provided free pass for the next visit too as we entered the village 3 hours before the closing time) * Unlimited rides * kids friendly. You can say it’s a paradise for kids. * So many activities to do. * Dutch style buildings and staff with Dutch costumes give you pure Dutch feel.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! From the road it seems small, but there's actually quite a lot going on here, and is the perfect size for kids to run around and enjoy. My four year old loved the rides, the dancing show and even the cheese samples. The petting zoo was nice as well, and there are lots of ducks and geese just wandering about. Visiting on a weekday morning was perfect, as it never felt very crowded. Employees were all friendly and did a good job managing the kids running around. Definitely stop by here if you're looking for a few hours of family entertainment while in Holland.

This place is perfect for a fun, educational visit, and it's great for all ages! Price is reasonable, and you get to learn about wooden shoes, how to make cheese, watch a traditional dance, etc. There's a fun place area for the younger kids, a petting zoo, carousel, ferris wheel. Definitely recommend!

Very fun place to visit!! We went on a Sunday morning and there wasn't a lot of people! The live demonstrations were amazing, there's a few rides, a petting zoo, plenty of photo ops and decently priced for admission!

My family attended Dutch village on a Saturday. It wasn't too busy. We bought our tickets online which came to $15 a person, 3 and under are free, if you buy them there its $17 a person. My daughter was able to ride all the rides at 40in tall. It Looked like you had to be around 32-34in tall to be able to ride. The animals were our favorite part. They were so lovable and wanted all the attention. You could interact with them, which was nice. I recommend going. We were there for around 4 hours.

If you like unique theme parks and immersing yourself in cultural history, this is a place for you to visit! It's a light-hearted theme park in the heart of western Michigan, full of staff dressed in traditional Dutch apparel. It reminds me of Deer Forest, which once existed in Coloma, MI. All the shops, food experiences, rides, entertainment venue, and museum make a weekday family trip here worth while. Dogs are welcome, but keep in mind that people tend to walk closely together in some spaces and some people may have the urge to touch/pet your dog.

Dutch village is very nice place to get familiar with old life style of Dutch people. A lot to see and specials are the dance and kids play stations 🚉. Staff are very cooperative, when we were at this village it suddenly started raining and becoming dark. They started to close all outlets but we couldn’t move our since we had less than six month kid in the rain, so they arranged jackets and umbrellas ☔️ for us to move to safe place into restaurant. It needs atleast a day to go through entire village so keep time n make entry.

Wonderful place for families. The educational stuff has deteriorated. The museum area looks neglected and needs cleaning and repairs. The educational demos and talks need work. One guy had no idea that the item in the corner was a spinning wheel and he did not know why the Dutch had certain features in their homes. The petting zoo is awesome. The activities and rides are great. My son had a ball.

This place is very rich in history. This is a really cool place for kids to go and see the history of Dutch settling in Holand MI. It has a couple of carousel playgrounds, animals trying on of the wooden shoes and how they are made. They have lots of exhibits on how thing were made, period correct clothing and much more. I would recommend taking your younger kids here.

I'd consider this a "must see" unique place to visit. The landscaping is simply gorgeous. The Village is neat, with interesting shops with Dutch items of interest. You can see performers in traditional dress dance to a few songs, including one where they teach the audience steps. Play areas, a pettiing zoo, and some rides like a giant swing made for a fun afternoon. Spent a couple hours there, got some handmade fudge on the way out.

We purchased a dozen tickets for our family and visited the village for about four hours. It's the perfect place to visit if you have young kids under the age of 10. After the entry fee, your kids can try the rides as much as they like. They have areas where you can sample 24 flavors of cheeses or over a dozen flavors of fudge. The cheeses and fudge are great hits and you can tell that they are made fresh. There is also a "petting zoo" where you can hold chickens and pet some bunnies. I think this place is a must-stop if you are visiting the area. 5/5

Not been here o a long time. It is was a nice to day. Why not go enjoy the day in Holland Michigan. Its changed slot. And that's a good thing. I still want to go to the tulip garden. Never been there. Next I will. Go early for sure!

I didn’t have much expectation before going. We all ended up enjoying couple hours there. It’s a small park. They set up many ‘shows’ - dancing , clogs making, staff explaining in individual building. I leant much more the Dutch culture here than my previous trips in the actual Holland. There are many old machines, displays which are well kept. All staff are friendly and are passionate sharing their knowledge with us. Although the rides are more for young kids , my 10-year old said the park is the highlight of our visit in this town. Definitely recommend this place to any family’s travellers.

Our family and us hung out there and spent the day. We have kids so this was perfect place for them to do and learn. Not badly priced too. Each kid got a waffle and hot chocolate and we made memories. Over all I would say it was a decent value for the money especially now they've expanded. Way improved.

We had a wonderful visit at Dutch village. Our children are 8,6, and 2 and they really enjoyed themselves. They liked the rides, and I liked taking pictures of flowers! I appreciated that the food wasn’t wildly overpriced. Overall, a nice visit.

The park is closed for the season, but the gift shops are open and carry a lot of wonderful items. Free engraving is offered on the wooden items they sell. We bought ceramics for ourselves and as gifts for friends. The clearance section was nice and we picked up the salt/pepper shaker cow from that area (pictured). The cashier was friendly and helpful too.

Fun but definitely tourist-y destination in Holland exploring the area's Dutch roots and ancestry. Lots of fun activities, exhibits, dances, and animals for little ones to play with and enjoy. Knowledgeable and friendly staff who love showing off their exhibits. Very walkable and a great place to spend an afternoon.

This is an amazing dayout venue for family woth yound kids! The combination of ferris wheel, carousels, kids trains, a fresking animal petting farm and the likes, rounded off with great live Dutch dance performances along with a beautiful and authentic village feel was perfect for a dayout with kids. Amole parking spaces, restaurants added to the comfort. Though the restrooms could have been more in number and a bit cleaner than it was! Overall, would highly recommend visiting this place with family and kids!

Definitely more catered for kids. We had a good time, it seems like the young staff were hustling all different positions. hard-working young staff operating a lot of the show and activities. Nice little Dutch dancing performance, and cute layout for people to walking around.

Dutch Village in Holland, Michigan, exceeded my expectations with its enchanting Dutch-themed atmosphere. Every corner of the village captured the essence of Dutch culture, from the windmills to the tulips and traditional architecture. Ian, a friendly villager, made my visit even more memorable. He displayed a passion for Dutch history and culture through his detailed explanations and entertaining stories. Ian's warm and welcoming nature made me feel at home, and I left with a deeper appreciation for Dutch traditions. The best part was the traditional dance! Dutch Village is a must-visit destination for a fantastic cultural experience.

We went here with our toddler, and all enjoyed ourselves immensely. There were plenty of educational and historical displays about Dutch culture, life, and products. Our son had fun on the kid rides and activities, such as the carousel, the playground, watching the ducks from the bridges, and interacting with the bunnies, chickens, and goats. My husband and I appreciated the cheese & meat shop, the flowers and pathways, the gift shop's plethora of offerings, and the ability to order tulip bulbs. 🌷

The samples in the gift shop are nice. There is a wide price range on gifts there too. The staff takes it all in good humor. I thought it was a bit silly like it was built in a mall parking lot but the wife and the daughter in law grew up in Europe and it brought back fond memories.

It was a cute place to visit! The food was good, never had hot potato salad… it was amazing! They give kids a coupon to make a free cookie and this was the only experience I didn’t appreciate. Each family was going on their own and then my daughter went. A worker went on break so they had another family go with her, which is fine. But each kid rolls their own dough and then the kids didn’t even get the original dough they rolled back so she didn’t get to even try it which was a bummer. I wasn’t going to complain there we just walked away and threw it out. It’s a good price to go and you can ride the rides as many times as you want. The stores are all connected and there’s a lot of unique things to look at. It’s nice for a little day visit!

Cool place! Tons of fun activities for the kids. Our son was so charmed by the small petting zoo where he could pet and feed farm animals that we were not able to leave that place over three hours 🫣

I took my family here, it was the 1st time visiting and it was wonderful. All the stuff there is to do and learn is great, but I think the best part is the workers who truly seem to enjoy their jobs and were very friendly, very educational, and took the time to answer any of our questions.

I was here on a gals trip and brought my husband and boys back to it so they could experience it. We were here half the day! The boys loved riding the carnival rides like ferris wheel and swings. Feed the farm animals ($1 for a ice cream cone full of feed) Its a great step in time of a Dutch Village! Make sure you see the clog dancing!

Great place for the little ones, there is a nice amount of attractions. Being the petting zoo was the best, being able to see, feed and walk some of the animals were amazing.
