Unreliable! We had booked a stay with Natuurhuisje to celebrate a New Year's Eve with a group of friends - I got a booking confirmation and paid the amount in full more than a month prior to the stay. ONE DAY before our departure, I had to learn that our booking was cancelled, and that only after I had contacted a landlord to ask for some details. Natuurhuisje initially claimed that it can't be right since we had it confirmed and paid... After a couple of hours, Natuurhuisje confirmed that the booking was indeed cancelled and offered some alternatives that were certainly not matching the one we had booked. If being left without accommodation a day before departure during a busy holiday period wasn't enough, we also need to be chasing the landlord to get our money back. Granted, the apologies were offered, but that certainly didn't make up for the ruined holidays and the aftermath we need to deal with to get our money back... The concept is nice, but the unreliability of the service is too much of a risk to take when you are after a relaxing holiday...

NOW i see that i should have read the google reviews BEFORE booking at this lousy company. we asked for delay in payment due to covid uncertainties: instead they cancelled our booking, but kept the initial downpayment. They dont respond to phone or e-mail so they screw both their customers and their renters without timely warnings.

We rented a house in the woods "boshuis" in Nunspeet through this site. When I posted my review of the house it was not accepted because I also mentioned the owners. I mentioned the owners becasue they also lived on the site and we felt "watched" the whole time. We had no privacy, they were not friendly, they lectured us on hanging things on the heater - which means they went into the house when we were not there. After 1 hour of using their sauna they asked if we were finished (while we were still in the sauna). We paid for 1/2 a day. Their dogs were pooping next to our terrace the whole time. And we paid €35 for ecectricity for 4 nights. This averages over €3.000 per year for a tiny little dirty cabin. On the Natuurhuisje website you may say nothing about your experience with the owners. In this case that was a huge part of our vacation. To top it all off - on the only nice sunny day we had they decided to clean the pool for the whole afternoon - so we could not use it. The house was one price for 4 people. We were there with 3 people over the age of 60. When my sister in law came on the last night we were very rudely told that she could not use any of the facilitties. What a disapointment from this site. Echter is de recensie die je geschreven hebt niet volgens de richtlijnen geschreven. Vandaar dat we deze zo niet mogen toevoegen. We had a super short holiday. Loved the house; great decor and attention to detail. Very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, and a sitting room with everything you need for a great holiday. The surroundings are gorgeous.

I listed my property on the site but there is always a problem with the communication and the web site doesn't work properly as it should. Suddenly I have lost all my listings :-(

Outstanding location right at the Waal River, easy walking into beautiful Brakel. Lovely couple Harold and Marian are the hosts and are available for any questions. My dog played with the hosts' 2 sweet dogs every day that we stayed! I will come back!

All basic functionality is present. The cottage was very clean. The owners are very nice and want to do everything for you to make you feel comfortable. The (extensive) breakfast is a must. We had a great time there.

I'm happy to find accomodation in Kahlenberg 13 Sint Vith Alfersteg. Host is very welcoming and takes good care about the guests. My dog really enjoyed it. Surrounding is superb and all is close - Buttgenbach, Luxembourg and Malmedy. From this place its possible good to explore Belgium Ardennes. I'm pleased I chose this accomodation. We definatelly with my son would like to return, peacful and quite place, the weekend was success!

The hut was well stocked for self-catering, the bed was comfy. The hosts were super friendly and hospitable and made us feel welcome. They have a resident cat, but it didn't affect my husband's allergies so they must have cleaned well. We found the nature and surrounds very relaxing. It was nice to look out and see the horses and ducks. We had a super relaxing and wonderful weekend away sans kids.

De hooiberg was comfortable and had everything I needed to have a relaxing time in the Achterhoek. Bed was comfortable and the shower was warm. The view was great and you are just a short distance from town. Castles and walking trails are close by and my dog also enjoyed the stay!

Coming from Amsterdam with four young kids in tow (ages 3-7), we had such a lovely time in this country oasis. We loved hanging out in the big backyard eating dinner at the picnic table, soaking in the hot tub with the views of the fields and the sky and of course bounding endlessly up and down on the trampoline! Another hit were the animals including collecting eggs from the chicken coop on the property and walking with the owner to watch as he fed the ponies and calves. The owner also pointed out a walking path just across the street that made for an easy, fun adventure. Beyond the house the nearby Herpenduin area was fabulous and makes for a great family day trip with the beautiful and strange sandy landscape, the posh little pancake house and the wonderful play area in the speelbos with the always winning combination of sand and water! The house itself is inviting and cozy. It has the perfect combination of authentic farmhouse charm along with cleanliness and modern amenities (for example a dishwasher, two refrigerators and three toilets!) We all found design touches that we were fond of: I admired the wallpaper in the bedrooms, my son was captivated by the embroidery on some of the dining room chairs and my husband appreciated the old-fashioned record player and album collection. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend escaping to Herpen to all city folks!

We had the case that we had rented a house, which was not to our liking. It was 8 kilometers next to a Nuclear power plant, Nuclear power plant Paluel, which you don't expect when you book something on a site such as natuurhuisje.nl. You also expect, when you pay rent for a cabin in the winter that it is heated. If this is with a wood stove, then there should be enough wood to heat the place. Neither was the case. We have paid for our own heating. We also cooked on the wood stove, because the hob did not work. Also from our paid wood. The fact that the cottage had not been cleaned, old dirty, and rancid did not make the situation any better. The cleaning costs have been refunded, and rightly so, but the costs of the wood have not been fully refunded by a long shot. We have informed natuurhuisje about this. The fact that a private photo of me, for which I have not given permission, was used to place me in a corner and to show that I actually lodged a wrongful complaint, because you had a nice time, ethically you are taking this to far. Searching for a private picture on the Internet and using them for your own benefit without my permission is a violation of someone's privacy. Their response to my complaint about the nuclear power plant was, it is situated in nature, our rented house is also situated in nature, so my complaint was unfounded. Where else should the nuclear power plant be? In the city? Great that it is there, but I don't have to spend my holiday next to it. The fact that me and my husband had a good time has nothing to do with how we experienced our stay in the rented cabin. You don't want to get stuck in negativity, you're on vacation and you want to have a good time. I also expected more adequacy towards the landlord about the fact that when guests pay rent, there should be no hidden costs, and if this does happen unforeseen, they must be paid back in full. So basicly getting a finger from the landlord, and the customer service of natuurhuisje not handling the problem, but mainly throws it back to you, violating your privacy , you lost the focus on CUSTOMER service. Keep repeating that you find it a shame that we have not experienced our stay to the max, just doesn't cutt it.

We can't describe the experience we had in this glamping. Serene, comfortable, quiet, full comfort, beautiful beautiful beautiful...You have everything you need and more. Kids loved it, we loved it. We are still bewitched and we wish to be back soon again.

Me and my friends spent the weekend in this lovely house at Zeeland in the NL by the countryside. It felt like home, nothing was missing and it was super comfortable and clean. Our communication and information provided by the landlord was great and clear. The location was great, in between cute countryside villages (and alpaca farm) which made it accessible. This family house created the best memories for an Easter weekend! We quite recommend this nature experience!
