A hidden gem tucked away with a surprisingly large number of animals. Its size allows you to get close to many of them, far closer than other zoos, making it great value. If you can make the journey, it's well worth it.

The idea behind the park is very nice. Started with an owl collection which grew with other small animals, mostly mammals and birds. Fun for kids! Everything is a bit outdated though and could use maintenance and some upgrades to provide more freedom to the animals. Not very wheelchair friendly as halfway the route is a bridge with stairs. The only way is back and follow the route counterclockwise. Free parking. Opportunity for a drink or icecream. Dirty toilets.

Always nice to take a look. Sweet friendly employee. Had to watch the feeding of the caracal. Also kangaroos, coatis, squirrels and meerkats.

The zoo is bigger than it looks. Really well maintained and we can get close to the animals, some being free to wander around.

I was told this is the worst zoo in the Netherlands, so i went to have a look for myself. While it certainly wasn't amazing, I don't think it was as bad as I was made to believe. Some exhibits are on the smaller side, particularly the coati and porcupine could definitely use some more room, and some aviaries were a little crowded. The park is a little messy, but has its charm. If you're in the area and looking for an activity for a morning/afternoon, this park will keep you busy for an hour or so.

Yes, what should I say...? Everything in and around the park is just very old. His face is clearly showing its age. The enclosures are small, far too small. Many animals look like old sanctuary animals, the larger wild cats show clearly unusual behavior, such as running in circles, always going up and down the same paths and the small rodents can be seen unnaturally climbing up and down the bars. But the enclosures are simply too small for such animals 😞 Well, I don't want to blame the staff on site for this. A new enclosure had just been built and everyone was friendly and the Kapibaras even got a nice clap when they were fed. The whole "park" seems to me as if they are trying to keep it going somehow, but as if the costs and the amount of work are actually not affordable these days. It was nice in a way, but I really felt sorry for most of the animals...

Great for the kids to get up close to the animals. Wasn't busy (Friday). Could do with a renovation.

Such a lovely hidden gem. Perfectly between a small petting zoo and a regular zoo. You'll have to stay on the path, But the path swerves through the woods and makes the area feel so much bigger. Can see a lot of animals from close or even feed them. Great experience, 5icket prices are cheap and they have food dispensers (€0,50) for a little bit of food. Reccomended to bring €5,- in change. You can also Use pin and they can change your cash. I'll definitely return here at least once a year! -important note for parents with kids: small chicklets, mice and other smaller animals can also be seen being bred, But they'll also, naturally! Be fed to the bigger animals! Make sure your kid doesn't have to panic! This is nature and should not be a surprise. Stay calm and act like it's the most normal thing, because it is. I did not see them being fed, but you probably will spot a few "leftovers". Inform beforehand when it's "feeding time" to be sure. 👍 10/10 park/zoo!

This Is a great place to visit, when we went we were alone which was a nice change compared to big ZOO'S. Would recommend to everyone go visit. P.S kangaroos do not like to be petted, but was nice to walked among them, but we did get to pet goats :)

Very nice little zoo. Worth a look if you are in the neighborhood. No real place to eat or drink. Max 1 hour.

Nice, small zoo. Animals seem well taken care off and enclosures are well-kept. A good location to bring your kids to watch animals!
