I'm
torn
about
my
experience
at
this
zoo.
On
one
hand,
I
enjoyed
myself,
and
there
are
a
number
of
animals
here
that
I
have
not
seen
at
other
zoos.
On
the
other
hand,
there
were
a
number
of
drawbacks,
including:
1.
The
price.
It's
$30
per
person
to
get
into
the
zoo,
which
is
a
bit
steep,
and
as
expected,
everything
else
is
an
additional
expense.
The
train
is
$4,
the
kayaking
is
$10,
and
feeding
animals
is
about
$2
per
animal.
Of
course,
(human)
food
at
the
zoo
is
pricey.
Meals
were
around
$12
or
more
from
what
I
saw.
2.
The
food
we
got
wasn't
good.
We
paid
$6
for
salty
cheese
fries
with
barely
any
cheese
on
them.
The
cheese
itself
wasn't
good
quality
either.
It
was
more
like
"processed
cheese
product"
than
actual
cheese.
I
definitely
don't
recommend
it,
and
you
can
see
my
picture
for
the
amount
of
food
that
you
actually
get.
3.
The
train
ride
was
a
letdown.
It
took
8
minutes
from
start
to
finish,
and
you
only
see
a
handful
of
animals.
I
wouldn't
do
it
again,
but
kids
get
in
for
free
if
they're
under
3,
so
that's
a
nice
bonus
if
you
have
kids.
4.
Some
of
the
cages
were
a
bit
too
small,
such
as
the
jaguar's
cage.
Grazing
animals
like
giraffes
and
zebras
have
plenty
of
room,
though.
The
same
is
true
of
the
monkeys,
who
have
a
bunch
of
connected
cages,
allowing
them
to
roam
around.
5.
There
were
not
many
educational
experiences
or
shows
at
the
zoo.
They
only
have
about
two
a
day.
We
went
to
check
out
the
girafee
talk,
which
seemed
like
a
cool
experience,
and
it
was
nearly
impossible
to
hear
the
keeper.
They
didn't
use
a
microphone,
and
they
were
shouting
up
from
about
20
feet
below
the
onlookers,
so
it
wasn't
a
very
effective
way
to
communicate
the
information.
Overall,
it's
worth
a
visit
if
you
just
want
to
come
and
see
some
animals.
The
zoo
is
a
pretty
good
size,
and
there
are
some
interesting
animals,
even
though
the
range
of
animals
is
small
(no
elephants,
tigers,
or
lions).
This
zoo
is
also
great
for
kids.
Besides
the
discount
on
things
like
the
train,
there
is
a
large
section
of
the
zoo
where
kids
can
play
and
interact
with
barn
animals.
Of
course,
the
treetop
trek
ziplining
is
right
next
door,
as
well,
but
expect
to
pay
a
pretty
penny
for
this.
In
general,
the
extra
fees
can
add
up
fast
at
this
zoo,
so
be
cognizant
of
that.
