1 min away from our house, Veggies on Fire is located. This restaurant is fully plantbased and fully organic. They are open on Friday - Sunday and have a changing menu. We made a reservation through the website and upon arrival, we were welcomed warmly. The drink menu is not your standard drink menu, so no Coca Cola etc but instead kombucha is available ! I like that a lot actually. The menu is not extremely extensive but considering it’s all vegan, you have plenty of options. We enjoyed every dish and were super full after 3 courses. We recommend sharing a starter and dessert. The lady who serves us is super hospitable and will explain the dish to you. All in all, we will come back again once the menu is updated!

I have been to Veggies on Fire multiple times, and every time is a unique experience. You can feel the food is really made with love and attention, and the service is very personal. The new menu is great, although I have to say I've never been disappointed. Oh, and for such an experience the prices are also very fair in my opinion. I'm already lookin forward to the next visit!

As a vegan, it's really a treat to have such a cozy, warm, and friendly place at a 10 minute drive from home. The menu is seasonal and it includes gluten free options and RAW options. The staff is friendly and passionate about the food they serve. This is gourmet dining, so expect dishes to take time to be prepared and enjoy the wine or cocktails in between. It's mid-range prices for high quality food, expect around 45 euros p.p. for a three course meal with some wine.

Been meaning to go here for nearly 2yrs but never found the time. Partner secretly booked us in for our anniversary, and other than me being 30mins late, it was the nicest dinner ever. We had the flammkuchen to start, which was the perfect size for the two of us. It was so good! We were very impressed with the melted cheese (a rare vegan find) and my partner basically inhaled their half. For our main meals we both chose the Thai Red Curry. We both very impressed with them, curry is one of our favourite meals and this dish was one of the best we've ever had! Finally for dessert we had the chocolate mousse cake and creme brulee. I used to eat creme brulee regularly but have only had it once before since being vegan, and I was very satisfied with this one 🤤. My partner loves chocolate and absolutely loved the cake, we couldn't believe how big the slice was! They got halfway through before we had to ask to take the rest away! Would be a perfect sharing dessert. To drink we both had the organic lemonade which was perfectly refreshing for the hot evening we had. We asked about the wine and the waitress told us the wines had been selected to be a perfect addition to the dishes, so we ordered a bottle. She was very right, the wine paired perfectly, especially with the curry, we were very happy. The staff were really really nice, our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable and the chef would occasionally come out the kitchen and smile at us. A very nice atmosphere here 💚. After we had eaten and paid, the waitress very kindly helped us put our chairs outside the front so we could finish our wine in the sun. The perfect end to a perfect evening. Will be recommending to everybody I know to eat here. We will definitely be coming back soon! Can't wait to try the sticky toffee pudding!!!

I must admit I might be spoiled regarding vegan food. But everything in here was... just right. Nothing innovative but still really good. We tried hungarian goulash, pulled jackfruit pie and chipotle burger (my favourite out of those three). The portion was more than enough, everything was well seasoned and I loved free starter which was a bowl of popcorn with herbs. Service was very attentive, told us all there was to be told about served meals. The thing that caused -1 star was waiting time. When we arrived there had already been only one person sitting there but we still had to wait over 30 minutes for our order being served. If any food required waiting such a long time it would be kind to just inform the guests about that. :) + So far not many restaurants in NL have served me tap water (or even had it as an option) but it is highly appreciated.
