Amazing vegan dinner experience! We visited this Restaurant for the second time now and we would return anytime:) Great vegan desserts, cheeses and flavorful courses. Totally recommend!

This is my second time to this restaurant. I really like their food and drinks. We had a Blue Butterfly Pea Latte and a Gin and Tonic and both were really good. We also tried the cheese platter and the vegan cheese tasted very interesting. The burger with onion rings was also good. A very good place to try if you are a vegan.

Amazing vegan food in a warm and cozy space. Every dish is a unique as it is delicious. The range of flavors is large and some dishes are better than meat. The cheese platter is the best as it's a very unique twist to the dairy counterpart. Staff are warm, inviting and friendly.

Came back here in Oct 2018 and the food is still as great! Book a table to prevent disappointment though. Nov 2017: Fantastic place with amazing plant-based food. They really do excel at the vegan cheeses. Portions are so big we actually didn't have room for dessert. Try the Sloppy BBQ Bun or Cashew Cheese Fondue. The atmosphere is excellent for either friends or dates. Definitely coming back here.

We had the Christmas brunch with a platter of scrambled no-egg, cheese fondue, grilled veggies, soup, guac & more as well as a dessert plate. The service and food were both outstanding - 10/10 would recommend

Oh. My. God. This place is my happy place. If I ever have an anxiety attack and need to mentally go to a happy place, I’ll come here. The staff were really nice and helpful, the restaurant was cozy and romantic, non-alcoholic beers were lovely. And the cheese platter. Oh. My. God. Five stars is not enough. I’d give it 666/5 stars. If you ever want to open a branch in Finland, I’ll be there all the time.

Nice little VEGAN restaurant. I had the best burger of my life here and it was 100% vegan. Plus a cheese plate and fondue. I took cheese with me to take home, it was that good. Clear recommendation to anyone who is near Amsterdam! Simply a must for everyone whether vegan or not. Service was super polite and friendly, the ambience was a bit dignified, but not aloof. Simply a perfect mix. I don't know how, but I still managed to eat dessert, which was also excellent. So actually the 5 stars here are far too few. Don't wait long - reserve a seat and enjoy the food.

Even without being vegan or vegetarian, the best I have tasted in a long time. some vegan cheeses, hamburgers and delicious and very well prepared dishes, and the unbeatable service, a 10 to the manager, cooks and especially to the waitress from France who served us. I am sure that I will return and that I will recommend this restaurant.

Love the gourmet vegan food vibe here! We didn’t get the cheese platter, but definitely regret it looking back. The flavours in their pastry and burger were still incredible though! Was definitely worth the trek and money!

Great plant based restaurant with a new terrace that has sun until late in the evening. The whiskey bbq kombucha burger was incredible. A very nice smokey flavor and the toppings were both crunchy and fresh. Cheddar cheese was the perfect add on. Definitely not your average vegan burger. Went very well with the grilled veggies topped with Parmesan and some very good fries. Loved their vegan cheese platter as well. The walnut camembert my favorite. Make sure to leave some space for dessert because they were huge. Big chunks of soft brownie with whipped cream and caramel ice cream. And the vanilla cardamom cake with pistache was a dream combination. So good.

OMG The very best vegan restaurant I have been to. Everything is perfect in taste and looks. Time to move on and expand to Hamburg/Germany. You guys are needed there. german: leider geil. Dem kann man dann nichts mehr hinzufügen.

Hands down easily the best vegan restaurant in town. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff was very nice and professional and the vibe was on point. We will be coming back next year and we are ordering the cheeses real soon!

I had been waiting to go to Mr & Mrs Watson for a few months and never managed to book a table on my previous visits. Delighted I managed to get one outside on Friday the 23rd of September. The restaurant has almost a tapas style selection of things which are all exceptionally well curated, go well together and tasted amazing! We had half the menu and not a single thing wasn’t delicious. I may be biased because I am vegan however the party I was with is not and he also said it was one of the best meals he’s had in a while… Book a table and support this amazing establishment at the forefront of the plant based cheese revolution. It’s a must for any vegan, please drag your carnivore friends along and show them plant-based is doable and delicious and the ‘but muh cheese’ is a non issue ! 👏🏻🙃

Highly recommended. One of the best burgers I've had. Not just me, I came with 3 omni friends and they all said the same thing! Desserts were hit and miss. This was pointed out to the outstanding service team who apologised and comp'd the dessert in question. Super friendly place, you can tell they want their customers to have a great experience and leave happy. Definitely coming back.

We had a very tasty evening meal at Mr & Mrs Watson. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the environment is gemutlichkeit and the food was great. The speciality of the restaurant is their home made vegan cheese which is certainly worth trying. I had the fondue, which was served with seasonal vegetables and was a good choice. 100% vegan and 100% tasty - if you are in Amsterdam, check it out!

Such an incredible restaurant. The vegan cheese selection is really astonishing. The vegan camembert and vegan honey are really something. The butternut squash orzo "risotto" is really dreamy. The prosecco fondue is worth trying, and the sticky toffee pudding is also a definite must-try.

Really good vegan restaurant in Oost with a large sunny terrace and many tables inside too. I really love their vegan cheeses - especially the camembert with walnuts. The kombucha burger was outstanding, with a smokey BBQ flavor and a juicy patty. I also like their main course with palm of tree, quite original, but maybe a bit imbalanced (very large portion of palm of tree versus the rest of the dish). The vegan brownies was just delicious - sticky and very heavy.

Really lovely place! We have enjoyed our meal and the vibes of the place.

Amazing food, amazing experience, cute & fancy at the same time, and super friendly staff. We celebrated my girlfriends birthday and it couldn’t have been better ! Recommendations: cheese platter & sweet potato soup 100%!

Nice vibe, great food and even better drinks. Loved the food so much that I didn't even miss not having non-vegan options. Do try out the Chef Andrej burger and also the vegan mayo dip. The staff was extremely courteous always serving and talking to us with a smile on their faces. Highly recommend.

What a delicious experience. The best vegan cheese. The food and dessert was delicious. Especially loved the apple pie.

Thank you for the many delicious dinners I have had with you in recent years and for your contribution to making plant-based more mainstream. I wish you all the best with your new focus, your products on the supermarket shelves!

Food: 5 stars. Vegan heaven. The vegan fondue is copious but worth having. Bartender gets his own star for great cocktails. Place: nice decor with cool illustrations. View of the bar upstairs, open kitchen if sat downstairs. Good for a date or with friends. Service: not as great. We made reservations but still had to wait a while for our table. Staff looked overwhelmed and unable to keep up with tables (think they were a waiter down). Had to wait to order etc. Hoping to come back and see if service will be different.

This was the best vegan meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant! Every dish served was really delicious and quite affordable. Will visit again. 😀 Highly recommended.

It’s sad that they were out of ragu and it’s been said when we’re ordering. Cheese plate has a little amount of cheese, it was another dissappointment. Taste of the food and dessert was fine but not special. I would buy cheese, not visit the restaurant again.

The food in this place is just delicious! The cheese plates 🧀 (served with vegan honey! and a super yummy jam) and burgers 🍔 are simply amazing. You can even buy their cheeses 🥳. By far the best vegan restaurant in Amsterdam! 🌱

I was curious about their vegan cheeses, but had not particular expectation. I was really surprised by how delicious everything we tried was. Also the staff was super nice and helpful. We’ll be back!

We had dinner yesterday and it was so yummy! The cheeses are Devine! The burger amazing and the celeriac shawarma one of the kind! Very recommended! Everything was incredible!

Small little restaurant in a really nice area of Amsterdam. Very nice terrace for when the weather is good. Full Vegan menu. Everything was delicious and really well presented. From cocktails to dessert u can't go wrong with any of your choices. The staff was fantastic. Absolutly recommended.

Sweet Jesus of Nazareth, this is so good! My love and I had the Grande Fromage. We had drinks. We had dessert. I just can’t. Returning in four days to have the fondue.

I love Mr. & Mrs. Watson! Their vegan cheese is delicious, I’m a “milk’ cheese phobic haha so I’m happy to tell everyone, yes I do eat vegan cheese and it’s delicious. Their burgers are also on the top of my list. Plus, cute space and friendly service!

We had some drinks and we tried the Korean burger, meatballs and orzo! Everything was PERFECT and the staff that was so friendly and polite!!! We will definitely visit this place again!

Wonderfully fancy Fully Vegan cheese and Prosecco experience! My friend and I shared the Fondue and the Fromage Petit. Great ambience and service. My only negative remark would be that the portion sizes are small. I guess this is "fine dining" but we only had 3 tiny pieces of cheese on the Fromage Petit with some bread, garnishing and 1 lonely raspberry. But I still give them 4 stars and I felt very fancy indeed! A posh little gem in Amsterdam East's more gritty area. Cost for 2 people with drinks & shared dessert +- 65euros. You can also buy some of their cheese for home.
