Very nice museum about the area and the Dutch. Many interesting items on display and a children’s area for them to work on their STEM ideas. Staff are friendly and the cost is only $7 for adults and $4 for kids.

They do a good job of telling the story of their city and people. There were stories of war heroes and immigrants new and old. The docent was very helpful in tracking down the answer to a very esoteric question I had. I was impressed and would recommend it.

Well worth an hour or so. You get a nice overview of the development of Holland and the Dutch Heritage. The museum is well put together with a nod to the contribution of many locals in various foreign wars. There is plenty about early industry of the area and development of leisure in the area. The flyer has a scavenger hunt worth taking. Don't miss the clock, which was Holland's addition to the New York World's Fair Brought here due to the onset of WWII. The second floor has some antique furniture from Holland. Like hundreds of years ago stuff. There is some other paintings and ceramics from Holland as well. The coolest thing? The dog powered butter churner.

Had been a few years since I had visited, was very impressed with the exhibits. Saw many objects that reminded me of book by Lynn Austin called Waves of Mercy. Museum is worth the price of admission.

We spent 7 per person to enter. The museum is well organized and has many props and other media to provide insight into the history of the Holland, MI area. I especially liked the art exhibit on the second floor. There was an impressionist painting section that I especially liked. We toured the museum and art exhibits for about one and a half hours which was about enough time to walk through the areas. Overall, I would recommend stopping here as a visitor to the area or even as a local.

Engaging and fun museum of local history and customs. Includes some great old Dutch paintings on the upper floor that are well worth checking out. Adult entry is around $7 so not too steep. Worth a visit!

Very cool place. Friendly staff. One lady came running out of her office just to answer a question (she over heard) my daughter ask me, that I couldn't answer. A lot of history about Holland then and now. Cool paintings and even furniture. Awesome.

Housed in the 1915 neoclassical limestone post office, the Holland Museum still has its oak paneling and marble trim inside. As amazing as that is, it also has something better! History! The ground floor has the local history room, devoted to the history of the Holland community. From the operations of Big Red to the Great Holland Fire of 1871, this room has various odds and ends displaying bits of Holland’s rich history! Upstairs is where the Crown Jewels are held, where amazing Dutch art and furniture are displayed in low lighting in a seemingly world class setting! If I did have some criticism, it’d be that the local history room simply doesn’t have enough history displayed!

It was very nice seeing my husband being able to talk with a fellow Army man in the same type of work that he did.

Great little museum. Lots of info on the history of the city. The 2nd level has authentic artwork from dutch artists. It was so cool to see this artwork, with some of it dating back to the 1600's. We spent about an hour here.

There is a good mix of different types of things to see in the Holland Museum. The history of a Holland and Michigan, Lake Michigan, and even other cultures that have a history in Holland. We especially liked the Art display on the 2nd floor. There are some amazing pieces that we did not expect to see.I highly recommend making this a stop if you visit Holland.

Admission fee was a little high for the amount of time we were able to spend here. Only took about 20-30 minutes to go through everything here.

👍👍 This was my first time to Tulip Festival with friends. Make sure you walk to the windmill tower that's behind where the main events and bands perform. It's beautiful out there! Hundreds of travellers sell all kinds of stuff ranging from wooden boots to whistling birds! Overall great experience. Tuli...

👍👍 This is a nice park for walking my older dog. It's shaded because of the trees. It has a tennis court, two playground areas and is a nice spot for parties or family reunions.
