Nice place for taking photos next to a huge constructed bridge. The most amazing is the view of ships and boats passing through the river. It is one of the largest ports in Europe. Actually it has captured me than Hamburg port in Germany. The skyline is also breathtaking. You take a brunch near the coastline and enjoy the view. However, it is a bot cold at night so take a jacket.

Beautiful bride with a diamond pathway. When it’s sunny it looks very trippy from all the sparkles. The view on Rotterdam from the bridge is very nice. There are ways for bikes, cars and pedestrians.

It's a very beautiful bridge specially at the time of sunset when the sun shines on it from one side. Watch the boats and merchant ships pass under the bridge, watch the giant cruise ship that's parked just near the bridge are some of the activities you could do to spend time on it.

A perfect icon for Rotterdam. Erasmus burg nicley connects to the South of Rotterdam from over the New Maas. People can have nice stroll over the bridge but Rotterdam can be windy so always check the wind speed and of course the weather itself before planning to stroll out on the bridge.

I would say it is located in the heart of Rotterdam, the most modern city of the Netherlands. It is a sight to see during a walk, definitely worth a visit.

The iconic modern bridge in Rotterdam. Which is also know as the Swan due to its unique shape. So beautiful at night when lights are switched on.

One of the two iconic bridges in Rotterdam connecting the city centre with South Rotterdam, Kop van Zuid. Millions and millions of photographs have been taken by professionals but hopefully my photos emphasise once again the magnetic magnificence of this 'Swan'

If you are in the mid part of Rotterdam you cannot miss the bridge, the best view of the bridge is from the river with a boat ride. The bridge is 802m long connecting the north and the south part of Rotterdam. It is the second largest bridge, constructed between 1986 and 1996 and named after Desiderius Erasmus. It is cable-stayed and bascule bridge designed by Ben van Berkel.

Beautiful to take pictures both at day and night, we even got to see a slip parking through under the bridge, where they had to life one side of the bride which was an interesting experience. Its style fits very well with the city of Rotterdam.

Wow 😍 The scale of the bridge project is amazing. incredibly beautiful when the backlight is on. The bridge was opened in 1996. The Swan - this is the name of this bridge, one of the symbols of the city.

Beautiful at sunset!!! (around 9.00 - 9.30 PM, check the time beforehand) On my walk along the bridge in the evening, I enjoyed the pleasant breeze and the great views of cruise ships and modern buildings all along the way. Both ends of the bridge have shops and restaurants, as well as some water activities. The water and buildings turned golden at sunset.

Enjoyed walks across Erasmusbrug during a visit to Rotterdam in late April 2023. Fantastic spot to enjoy sunrise and sunset. A boat ride is a great way to enjoy views of the bridge.

The Erasmus Bridge is a striking feat of engineering and a must-see fixture on every Rotterdam visitor’s itinerary. No surprise then that The Swan, as it is nicknamed, is the city's most important landmark (and part of Rotterdam's official logo too). Nowadays the Erasmus Bridge is also the backdrop for numerous spectacular events.

The Erasmusbrug, or Erasmus Bridge, is undoubtedly one of the most iconic landmarks in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Its striking design and impressive stature have made it a favorite subject for photography enthusiasts and tourists alike. The asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge spans the River Maas and provides a vital link between the northern and southern parts of the city. The bridge's soaring 139-meter pylon, from which 40 steel cables are strung, is a sight to behold. At night, the bridge is beautifully illuminated, creating a spectacular spectacle that photographers love to capture. Whether under the glow of a sunset or the twinkling city lights, the Erasmusbrug offers endless opportunities for stunning photography.

Romantic.. Architectural beauty.. I had a walk on this bridge on New year day where the wind speed was high... A night walk is worth it... ❤️ There are two tram stations on both sides of the bridge... Willemsbrug bridge view on the left side with its red paint will be a feast to watch.. You can also walk from erasmusburg to willemsbrug along the shore where you can see floating restaurants on weekends and important occasions..

An extremely beautiful bridge in the heart of Rotterdam, a sight to really behold. I enjoyed my time walking across it despite the bad weather on the day. The bridge lights up at night and you can get a truly outstanding view of the famous bridge. Trams are also available to ride across if you wish to Worth the visit!

The best sunset spot in Rotterdam. You can’t go wrong with some snacks and a beer. Walk along the waters edge and take in a little bit of nature inbetween the urban landscape that surrounds you. Truly a magnificent architectural structure to admire.

Errr, it's a bridge!! A nice bridge. It goes over a river, 7 or 8 lanes, 4 for cars, 2 for trams 1 or 2 for bicycles and scooters etc. Ideal spot to photograph cruise ships, water taxi's and Rotterdam skyline

The swan of rotterdam. Beautiful and stylish. An icon of ROTTERDAM in the truest sense. Best way to experience de Maas river. A stroll on the bridge anytime of the day is amazing. Can board water taxi or visit the maritime museum.

Stunning modern bridge directly alongside the cruise terminal. Easily walkable and probably visible from your ship. Walkable to and over, but watch out for the crazy bikes everywhere. You need eyes in the back of your head!

I never thought I’d be visiting Rotterdam with my colleagues this year. To me, Rotterdam and The Hague are quite similar in terms of buildings and bridges, mostly office and mall buildings for example. My visit to the Erasmus Bridge was great as well, a special tribute to one of the great Dutch Scholars and philosophers of the Northern Renaissance era ✌️

The Erasmus Bridge is one of the tourist attractions of Rotterdam and you can walk over it or use a bike or a car to cross it. You have a great view at the skyline of this beautiful city. The charme of Rotterdam is it’s mix of old classic netherland style building and modern architecture buildings and skyscrapers which are up to 257 meters high. You walk over the north see and can cross to the other side of the city. See the ships crossing under the bridge and do some amazing fotos here.

Definitely a must if you are visiting Rotterdam. If you like jogging or even bicycling, under the erasmus bridge you can do those activities in a safe space and with a great view. If you come from the south of the city (as in the picture) you can go to the left and find a riverfront with plenty of spaces to rest and even a Pavillion with all the flags of the world, from which you can get beautiful pictures of your country's flag with the Erasmus bridge in the background.

Located in the centre of Rotterdam, Erasmusbrug is a striking river crossing that connects the southern and northern districts of the city. Inaugurated in 1996, it is a prominent landmark in Rotterdam. This beautiful bridge is well worth a visit if you visit Rotterdam. Two photos attached.

Harbour area where you can enjoy scenic views. Popular place for a stroll and brisk walking. It is close by the city centre. Walking across the bridge should take less than 30mins. There is alot to explore around this area. Bus stops and tram stations are nearby.

Magnificent and impressive, the erasmus bridge holds grounds to being one of the most exquisite pieces of artistic architecture in Rotterdam. The bridge connects parts of Rotterdam while allowing boats to pass under. In cases of floods the bridge also has the ability to close its gates and stop the waters from damaging the inner parts of the port.

Good cruise ship. With lots to do and see. The ship was in port on four different days yhst gave you the opportunity to explore the cities. On thd ship there were lots of activities to get involved with and at least one show to see each evening. The food was good. The only negative was the cost of the drink package, which had to be booked by both couples. It's not really worth it if you didn't drink. A good week on the sea

Rotterdam Markthal is good hang out place. Lot of restaurants and many street shops outside Markthal. You get good cheese, fresh fish and lot of clothing options. The place is serene and lightly crowded. I loved it. ❤
