I wish I had read these comments before allowing my mother to move in this place. One thing is certain, the grounds are well kept, but beyond that, every negative experience listed here has happened. Their communication is horrible to say the least, the professionalism of certain staff, needs to be addressed, the maintenance, initially there were only 2, which adds days to response times and less than professional work. They have filed court papers twice and it was their error. There was no apology or anything and now a rat has been seen in the unit. I am going to the health department, BBB, and Baltimore's county Adult services where they will support vulnerable adults that are taken advantage of. My mom has been sick and this is probably why. Rodents are some of the nastiest disease carrying creatures and this has not been handled accordingly.

I lived at this property for 4 years now and lived in two different units. This place is run down, the staff is never in office, property up keep is horrible and they claim this is "luxury" living but they have MICE infestation. We have video proof of the rodents and Multiple residents have complained about the rodent situation and nothing is being done. They inconvenience your family and management act like they do not care. Some units even have mold in them around baseboards and underneath sinks. They only want you to pay your rent online so they can charge you a ridiculous service fee upwards of $60 just to pay your rent! I'm calling corporate again because when your paying $2,600/month to live in a "luxury apartment home, you shouldnt have to deal with MICE.

The units themselves are the best part about living here. Each unit has its own garage and private entry, which makes for a quiet and convenient living experience. Representatives at the leasing office are friendly and helpful. However the neighborhood and the management of the neighborhood has its drawbacks that make me second guess renewing a lease here: –Many people use their garage as a storage unit and park outside of it. This can make it difficult to navigate around the buildings and nearly impossible to pull into your garage if you do actually use it for your car. There is a constant worry that I’m going to be blocked in by a car and I won’t be able to track down the owner. –Likewise, people park in the fire lanes all the time without any consequence –The community has breed and size restrictions on the dogs allowed, however I see many restricted dogs here. I have seen 100 pound mastiffs, Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, and Cane Corsos. Some of those owners also keep their dogs in the garage –There seems to be a lot of turnover as of late. There’s constantly a resident moving out in the middle of the night, well before their lease is up, and then eviction notices weeks later. It creates a sense of instability

I had a very dissatisfying experience inquiring about information at The Courts of Avalon. No professionalism what so ever. Had a very rude and unpleasant encounter with the girl with the extremely LONG eyelashes. She made me seem like I was interrupting her conversation with another staffer and basically rushed me out of the building offering absolutely no help or assistance... It's disappointing because I heard nice things about the actual apartments.

I have lived at the Courts of Avalon for over 3 years and I love it! The staff is friendly, the amenities are great, and the location is perfect. But the real reason we've stayed for so long is Shake, the Community Leasing Manager. Shake is always so friendly, and is always accommodating. She's has handled everything with grace, accountability, and patience during our 3+ year stint here. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a great place to live!

I've met friendly neighbors, experienced pretty good service with "please fix this" calls, feels safe and quiet. I love having my own garage and patio! I happened to snag a space looking out into some trees. I love spending time out on my patio :). I'd move here again lol. Good response time with leasing questions for my long distance move, our apartment managers on site are great! They've been awesome every time I needed them. ❤️

I had a wonderful experience touring this property this week. My experience started with confirming a tour appointment. Ms. Courtney assisted me with scheduling a tour and provided me with the name of the leasing agent accompanying me, Ms. Mya. I was taken by surprise because this was the first time I was given the name of staff who would be providing the tour. (I thought to myself this is a great start.) When I arrived Ms. Mya greeted me by my first and last name (quite impressive). Her bubbly personality enhanced my apartment shopping experience from this past weekend. Not to mention this was the first tour I had with a leasing agent who actually lived on the property. It definitely made a difference. Ms. Mya provided first hand information as a leasing agent as well as a tenant. She willingly shared decorating ideas (with photos)to make the most of my space and showed me where other available units were located )without me asking to be shown). I forgot to mention the website photo gallery was a true depiction of the units. My tour ended with Ms. Mya and Ms Courtney answering some additional questions. Needless to say, this experience by far was one of my most memorable touring experiences. Thank you so much Ms. Mya!!!

Did a tour of the Avalon apartments today, they were great as I expected but Mya who took me on my tour really stood out. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional! Answered the many questions I had and really made what I thought would be maybe an awkward situation very enjoyable! Request Mya if you want to take a tour or have questions about the properties. I Have been living here since 2009. Its such an awesome place to live. The layout is great. I always get compliments of the design of my apartment. Mr. Keith and other staff members are very friendly and helpful. I guess that why I've been here so long.

During my recent tour, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Mya, and she truly excelled as an agent! The property was beautiful on its own, but Mya's enthusiasm and kindness created an inviting atmosphere that made me feel welcomed and entirely at ease, making me want to live within the community. Her in-depth understanding of the apartments and her ability to address all my inquiries throughout the tour was impressive. I was extremely pleased with my tour with Mya today. Despite the fact she’d been waiting on a tour that was already planned Mya actually used the brief period of time she had to show me around. Greatly appreciated i won’t forget it. I’m not completely ready to move but i’ll be sure to make my way to The Courts of Avalon when I am!

I’m so glad I got to tour with Mya this past weekend. Unfortunately we recently had to move abruptly but she made the process as smooth as can be.
