Excellent! My husband and I decided to try them out during their $1.50 taco special and was not disappointed. Packed full of flavor and they aren't shy on the meat and the sauces were too good. Our new Mexican spot now. We will be back! Definitely an upgrade from the previous spot that was there.

Absolutely delicious! Every aspect of our meal was fabulous, flavorful, and fresh. Served quickly and the menu is very affordable.

Went here a while back. Ordered take-out about 90 minutes before close. Sat there for 20-25 minutes for our food. Not a huge deal if the food is really good. Partially our fault for not calling ahead. Took the food home and discovered about 70% of the meat in my tacos was pure fat. Will never return after an such a horrendous experience. It was inedible & had to throw most of it out. Waste of money & was still hungry.

Whilst Taqueria La Mexicana does not appear to boast the ambience for an upscale, romantic dining experience, if you enjoy authentic Mexican and don’t mind a dive type atmosphere, this may just be one of the absolute best spots in all of Baltimore…. And when I say authentic, I mean “be prepared to order in Spanish authentic”, as the majority of staff and patrons alike seem to be Mexican. Albeit, I’ve often been able to order in English, as my Spanish language skills are rather limited. I’ve personally had several dishes with all of them having been serious 10/10’s. The Best Burritos around, super fresh with same day, made in house tortillas and my absolute favorite Papusas in the Baltimore Metro Area. We have also enjoyed the red and green enchiladas, multiple taco combinations and nachos, all absolutely mouth watering and fantastic creations! * Please note, this establishment is easy to miss when coming from either direction on Reisterstown Road, as it sits in a small strip of four stores. Consequently, I highly recommend looking out for the bright yellow Framers’ Gallery sign as it makes for a significantly more prominent landmark.

I ordered takeout here recently and I'm a fan of it. Recently opened, finally a good Mexican option in boring Owings Mills. Birria tacos were good, and prices were awesome/affordable. Will be back and looking forward to ordering other food! Update: I've become a regular, and come here for lunch weekly. Really love this place, delicious food. The new senorita working here is very friendly and kind.

This is the first truly legit in-store taqueria in the northern suburbs. Fabulous tacos, and the price for the taco platter was very good. These folks know what they're doing, and you can tell because the place is often quite busy. Despite its modest strip mall digs, this place is definitely in the top 5 Mexican joints in the Baltimore area.

Let me start off by saying that this restaurant just opened up about a month ago and the food here is actually amazing 😍 everyone should definitely give it a try 🙂.

Today the Staff at Taqueria La Mexicana made me one of the happiest person making a special order of Mexican Corn on the Cob. It’s not grill but steamed and it was so good. Thank you all again

This place is super affordable and the food was great. I’m a big salsa eater so I wish the salsa had more chunks of tomatoes versus all of those jalapeños. None the less I am definitely going back. It was not crowded and my carne asada plate was $11. You cannot beat the prices. I am going to give their tacos a try next.

A quiet and small restaurant with delicious eats that are affordable and relatively fast. The tacos are excellent but many of their other options look delicious as well. I recommend this shrimp and fish tacos personally. Parking out front is easy, the service is friendly and if you speak Spanish even better!

listen, the food is great and very authentic, however we have ordered here 3 times in the last week and they have never gotten our order completely correct. it can be sometimes hard to understand the person on the phone, which is not there fault, but it can get frustrating when they are always messing up the order. food is amazing so don’t not come here because of that but i would order in person if i were you and not over the phone.
