*Update August 2023* It's now a year and a week since moving in this place and what do you know my apartment mysteriously flooded!!! Karen sent me an email and explained the damage in such an out of touch and unprofessional way. In this email this lady didn't even apologize for me being inconvenienced but sure placed blame on my voicemail box being full, and not calling her back by 6 when she leaves. I'm currently up at 3 am livid with 6 random holes in my ceiling, wet computer, wet floors, wet bed, 3 industrial fans blowing all night on my dime and my electricity bill, and an apartment in complete disarray. I've never been so truly disgusted at an organization and it's mighty strange my 2nd floor apartment flooded from the ceiling. No one else experienced this issue. ___________________________________ I've been here for almost a year so I can give an honest review. Moved here 800 miles from my hometown and the community is amazing. The middle school and elementary are awesome, and lots of opportunity for family involvement and volunteering, which I love! The unit is spacious, maintenance tends to your needs rapidly but the downfall is these extremely thin walls. I'd avoid these units if you don't want to be noise complained to death and have front office harass and call you at 4 pm about music. The lady Karen seemed soooo pleasant when I called with interest to this place she's now become a huge headache for myself. She gave me a balcony complaint for a kids bike and kids scooter on the balcony a month in. Received a noise complaint from the elderly woman below for moving my things in the apartment to make it a home the first month moving in. Just received another for the very first party/get together here. Neighbors banged on the floors and just truly embarrassed for my guest. First impressions are huge for me and this place has rubbed me the wrong way. She's now heard me twice about my general complaints and I feel I have not been assisted by her in anyway and she always has snarky things to say as if she's biased and one sided. I work an overnight shift remotely and if my neighbor thinks ill tip toe for her she's out of her mind. Lol..I absolutely will be seeking a new place when this lease is up because their views of living is so unrealistic with these badly designed floors and walls. Spending $1900+ for rent is ridiculous in itself but today I felt the need to help another family from this trap. Apartment living comes with noise but they will not be understanding of this here at all. I hadn't made any complaints since i was suffering too but in order to avoid being constantly accused you must fight for your character and avoid a bad history for future places. You can get so much more for your money elsewhere and not have to feel you need to tip toe or harassment from front office. Don't say you hadn't been warned.

We have been living here for about 3 weeks now, it is a bit too early to be writing a review, this will be my "Initial Review" of this community. I want to "THANK" Karen (Leasing Office Manager) Elena and Janet for being one of the nicest people we have met here at The Summit. They have done plenty towards welcoming us to the community. We drove down here from Connecticut (5 hrs) back in mid-April 2021 to look at a few communities in Owings Mills, Reisterstown Area. This was the only community we could take a look as other community managers messed up our appointments and were not willing to accommodate us. We had a show scheduled for the afternoon at The Summit, and sure enough, Janet was waiting for us. Everything, from our very first phone call with Karen and Elena to meeting Janet in person was absolutely professional and friendly, "THE WAY IT SHOULD BE". One look at the model apartment, we had our heart set. As promised, Karen had sent me pictures of the apartment after it was cleaned up for our arrival and the very moment we moved in, I had decided to give these guys a 5-star rating. For now, I will settle for a solid 4 stars, just because of certain issues we have had to deal with since we moved in. I will have to see how the rating fairs over time! We moved here end of April 2021. The Apartment seemed very clean with new carpets, newly painted walls, ceiling, doors, new or barely used looking almost every appliance & cabinets in the kitchen, bath fittings and cabinets and almost all blinds in every room including the Alcove. We are glad to see ceiling fans with lights in the Living room and the Master Bedroom. There are lights in every room, walk-in closet and Kitchen except the Guest Bedroom and the Alcove. There are plenty of plug-in wall sockets all over the apartment, I am sure you will be able to buy a couple light fixtures (for the rooms that don't have one) that best works for your needs. One request to the community owners is to give us separate switches to the fan and light in the bathrooms, right now the fan goes off every time someone turns on the light in the bathroom and this can cause issues especially if someone is an early riser and your partner or kids are still asleep. Like any other community, we have had issues anyone would experience moving into a new apartment. Things have improved since, which indicates a willingness by the community owners to implement improvements in the community. In general, we have not had any issues with our neighbors yet, everyone we have met in the hallway (in passing) seem to be friendly and happen to greet us, we are definitely glad about that. As for the apartment community, there is plenty of open lot parking available (no covered parking). There is a place for car wash and vacuum (free), which i am glad about. There are plenty of trees and greenery for people who like to take a stroll or walk their dogs. There is a pool by the car wash, but closed for now. There is a small Gym, which open now. There is a general community use computer and printer room, (Currently closed due to CV-19). Access to individual community building is restricted by an access key to the residents of that building, the maintenance folks, and the mail man (USPS/UPS/FedEx). Any other delivery or non-residents will have to get buzzed in after speaking via Intercom. It is high time the general apartment community should be made gated. Also, be weary of speed bumps at several places inside the community, I now strongly believe that this community needs it. Every so often there is someone or the other driving inside the community with loud music (not sure resident or not). We have not heard any loud music coming from any of the apartments yet! The Walkways and Hallways are well lighted. The carpets in the hallways seem very clean, I have heard vacuuming in the hallway at least once a week, which I am very glad about. This community is within a 7 to 10 min drive from literally everything you would ever need. I would definitely recommend checking this community out :).

I lived here for almost 3 years! Karen the manger is AWESOME! She genuinely cares about each resident and the property. This is a family/retired community. It's also a very small community!!! Which was my top favorite things about The Summit. If I didn't buy my home I would have NEVER left. Check them out!

The apartments aren't bad, and the staff is friendly. I gave it five stars though because Karen is a star all on her own. She has always been extremely friendly and helpful. A professional that will make me miss this place - yes I am a former resident of 2 years. Community is quiet for the most part, and neighbors are friendly.

It's a peaceful, friendly community. I like the small number of units, makes for a more home like feel. The rental office staff are friendly, professional, and helpful. Despite inadequate storage space, I've been very comfortable in my apartment.

Lived here for 2 years with my now fiancé and our cat, and we had an amazing experience! Our apartment was nice and spacious with an in-unit washer and dryer which was really nice. Maintenance was always speedy when we needed them and we never had problems with our neighbors. Also Karen in the leasing office is awesome, she genuinely cares about the people who live here. I would 100% recommend this apartment complex.

I have not moved in yet, however the application and lease process has been seamless thus far. Prompt response time, every interaction and conversation has been professional. And their reviews were great, that's the reason I visited the property in the first place. I think I made a great choice, excited for my soon to be new home.

I’ve been a tenant for almost 2 years. Im a review person and the reviews alone sold me. For the area the size of my apartment it’s nothing bad I could possible say I had a third level the lighting for planters is a WIN!! All of the rooms are very spacious I was able to make my kitchen area a green area with a pub style table set along with a separate dining area of its own. Of all the good things I have to say I must say the property manager Karen is if not one the sweetest personable property managers I’ve dealt with. She’s familiar with faces doesn’t seem like they want to just take your money she’s patient communicates well and in a timely manner with an issue which honestly the issue I had was regular apartment issues. Maintenance orders are handle quicker than most for sure!!! If your thinking of renting you will be very satisfied

I will be moving in soon. My experience at the leasing office was impeccable. Karen Varner the leasing office manager went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me. I have never experienced such great professionalism from a leasing office like I did at the summit. The grounds are well kept , the staff that I met while I was looking around were very polite and nice. Apts are spacious and very well kept. I can’t say enough how much of a great job Karen did. She is awesome. I can’t wait to move in .

Moving into the Summit was amazing and easy. Karen helped me so much' especially for a quick and last minute move. I needed to be out of my previous residence by 12-1-2020, Karen took the initiative and gave me options that would ensure that I would have a home before that time. I was able to start moving in by 11-25-2020. If you want amazing service talk to Karen.
