I had a general hair consultation on Friday November 3, 2023. I have natural hair. I've been having issues with my hair including thinning from stress. I've also struggled with taking care of my hair and honestly it's way too many YouTube videos and products to know what will really work best for me. I was nervous going through the consultation but Lakaria was great. She asked me a lot of questions including what I was looking for in terms of a style. Thankfully she had an opening after my consultation and I was able to get my hair cut. Not only did Lakaria transform my hair, she went through the step-by-step process of how to properly care for my hair, manage my style and what products would be good for me to use. Lakaria did a phenomenal job from start to finish. I feel like I have finally found a stylist I can stick with and will be returning. Definitely book the consultation if you're a new client so that you know what services are best suited for you!

Wow. The best experience I have ever had at a salon. Lakaria is so professional she consulted with me first about my hair and the hair style I would like to achieve. I've never been able to get my hair the way I wanted. Lakaria cut my hair into the style I've been trying to achieve and I love it. She is truly an artist with the hair I am so happy she is my stylist. My hair is natural . I went to Lakaria at Legacy Hair Studio (a referral from someone who I saw with a beautiful haircut) and she was amazing. Although it was our first meeting, she spent the first few minutes asking me what I wanted my haircut to look like. After listening and offering suggestions, she gave me a beautiful haircut that suited my face. The salon itself was clean and comfortable. Lakaria was on time and effective. I loved how attentive she was while cutting my hair, not to mention the pressurized air she used to clean my shirt to ensure I had no hair on me. I also loved the added bonus of using a massage gun on my shoulder area. This felt like 5-star service in every way! I’m so glad to have found Lakaria and look forward to going back!

This was my first ever experience coming to Legacy Hair Studio. Lakaria was amazing and informative, she answered all of my questions! I came in for a big chop due to major damage in my hair (I had heat damage and parts of my hair were broken off) I took a chance and trusted Lakaria for help in my hair care journey. Lakaria is the best stylist that l went to in my life. She greeted me with much love and respect. Backstory: l am just getting out a very mentally abusive relationship. My hair suffered tremendously. I was not properly caring for my crown. From the moment l sat in Lakaria’s chair she made all my pain go away. She did my big chop. I broke down and cried because l been through so much. Lakaria is a awesome hairstylist! She is so very professional and knowledgeable about black hair care and she knows her craft. I loved the fact that she takes one client at a time. She is a on time lady and she works diligently to achieve the look that you desire. She has a beautiful spirit and takes the time to get to know you. I drove 45 minutes to be serviced by her and it was well worth it. She washed, cut, dried and styled my natural hair all in 2 hours. I highly recommend Lakaria! You will not be disappointed!

I can not begin to explain the awesomeness of my experience. I went in for a consultation and came out a brand new me. Went to Lakaria Meyers for my first ever bob. Left with the cutest blunt bob in existence!!! Overall great experience. Lakaria definitely knows her stuff! If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable on hair I definitely recommend. I absolutely plan on making future visits!
