This is a tough review because I think the vets and care are the best. But the prices are out of control, or I should say not nearly as affordable as before, but what is. I got a dog while I was in Florida, the vet where I had her checked out said the dental would be about $1,000-$1,200. I almost returned her because I wasn't going jump in knowing I'd have that kind of expense right off the bad. Called Dr. Molesworth's office and they told me the cost of their dental. I wasn't surprised that it was so much more affordable. Because of that, we kept the dog and she is great. Now, I have to balance the cost with care. Not trying to sound cruel, but as much as we love her, a dog is not a person. But, I want to go back and say that the care there is great. Main Street, I know you are under new and more corporate ownership, but you need to get back to your roots. Or, maybe enough people don't care what they pay so you're making your money and if people can't afford you, its fine if they go elsewhere.

I’ve been going to Main Street vet hospital for over 25 years and I have never had any issues. The last year or so their prices have doubled and tripled for the exact same service. I can no longer afford their prices and will have to find another vet hospital. This is the reason for only 2 stars. Otherwise, I would have given a full 5 star rating.

My family has been going to this vet for years as it was affordable and offered quality care. I brought my two young cats for their first check ups in October 2021 and was charged a total of $201 for their exams and shots. I went in December 2022 for the same two young cats and was charged $334.92 for their visit and their annual shots. There is absolutely no reason for a $133 increase for Veterinary care for healthy young cats. When I asked the vet tech when their prices had increased she was unable to answer, when I looked on their website to check if there prices were posted and if I had missed them when I made the appointment, I could not find any prices posted anywhere. I trusted this Veterinary hospital to provide quality affordable care as it had done for my parents and my previous pets in years but I was instead taken advantage of. I understand that there is inflation and that there is a cost adjustment but this does not explain why a routine check up would increase in cost by 66%

What a joke this place has become. Dr. Molesworth would be ashamed. My do was dying. He had a scheduled visit which was going to be the extremely hard visit to put him down. They called the day before and cancelled the appointment. I had to take him to another vet to be euthanized. I will never take another one of my animals to this place ever again. Dr. Molesworth was known well for caring for the animals and treating people with respect. This place is no where near the same now that he is gone.

My dog has been seen here for 9 yrs and the Drs are great especially Dr Hahn. However the staff at the front desk are very rude as well as unprofessional!! When you’re speaking over the phone and it’s something they don’t want to help with you, in the middle of you speaking they’ll throw the music on which is putting you on hold without even telling you. Talk about POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! They really need to HIRE BETTER people who are friendly and professional

I've been going to Main Street Vet for quite a while, since about 2010. I felt the need to give a review because the vets that I've had experience with there, currently Dr. Han, are so patient, calm and understanding. I've been very pleased. They seem to genuinely love and care for my dogs. Thank you.

Three years ago, I gave you guys a 5 star rating. As of today, it is 1 star. Two times I was told that my pet's perscription was ready for pickup. I made two separate trips. Both times it wasn't available. The medication was not in stock. I received a call today. To avoid making a trip for nothing, I asked the person if he could double-check. Sarcastically, the employee replied. I filled the medication and labeled it myself. I'm sorry, if you thought I was being smart by asking you to check again, but I don't live in Owings Miĺls. Driving on 695 can be a headache, especially if its takes you three times to get one prescription. Wow, unbelievable!

I took my PeekaPoo in for a follow up on her arthritis and her Rabies shot. The vet was though, kind, listened to my concerns and worked with me on options to treat my old girl. The front desk personnel seem much more friendly since our last visit and the charge was reasonable.

OUTSTANDING!!!!! We have been with Main Street for years and the extraordinary and supreme care our pets receive from the veterinarians, the vet techs and the front office staff just gets better and better. Our pets have very special medical needs and the staff there is MORE THAN qualified to handle each of them and guide us in their care. They are very in-tune with specialized veterinary medicine. They are loving, kind and compassionate to each pet and truly, truly go out of their way for our furry family and us. It is my honor and privilege to recommend Main Street Veterinary Hospital and give them a Super Star rating!

Having my dog get checked out from Dr. Nabosny (sorry if misspelled)…. always gives me comfort. I always feel reassured that my pets health is fine after his visit. Also, the tech (Chris) that administers his shots is always great and comforting to talk to. He is always very gentle and caring towards my dog.

Having pets throughout my entire life, I have had experiences with many different veterinarian’s offices. Main Street Vet Hospital ranks at the absolute top of the list, and it is not even close. Always super friendly, and I feel they genuinely care about the health/well being of my animals, not just my money. Their level of customer service is truly unmatched! From my house is about an hour drive and I make that drive once a month for my pets that’s how amazing this place is! Keep doing what you guys are doing! (:

Main Street Animal Hospital is honestly the best place to bring your fur babies. The doctors are compassionate , friendly and most importantly thorough . I’ve been going here for years and still very happy with the services.

this used to be a very good vet hospital, now they simply care about making money. They did varying different treatments to my dog, not making in known to me until it was time to pay the bill. Additionally, the manager was extremely unprofessional and does not care about your pet’s well being. Dr. Judith Nabozny did different analysis even did not asked and total instead $300 dollars comes 561.93$The clinic ending up charging me for $561. After all these poor reviews why is she still the manager. P.S After all those reviews why she still manger ?!

The entire staff was very helpful and friendly. Love Dr Han! She is very easy to talk to and is thorough with her explanations. Appreciate the cautious yet conservative approach to treatments. Very good bedside manner with our pup!

I have used Main Street Vet since 2016 when I returned to Maryland with an aging shepherd/collie mix. The humidity here exacerbated my gentle dog’s pain and suffering and Dr, Molesoworth, bless his heart, was clear, compassionate, and direct in getting her the treatment she needed. When I finally had to put her down, his team truly stepped up. That dog meant the world to me and she had done absolutely nothing wrong, she just needed an end to her suffering. I and my dog were treated with respect, love, and tenderness during one of the most awful moments a person can experience. Even though Molesworth, and that bedside manner of a snapping turtle he had, passed the practice on, the excellent staff and medical team still treat me and my new pup right. Good practical medicine at an affordable rate. Exactly the kind of vet I want. (My Sookie girl and the new guy, Cannoli)

Doctors are good management is poor. Been going here for over 10 hrs. 5 mins late and they wouldn’t see my sick pup. Beyond unhappy and it’s sad. If they didn’t have an opening in less than 24 hrs def would be going to the ER and looking for a new vet. Unreal.

Never really had issues with them when I brought in my cat. Last seen in January, told that his labs looked great. Vet was more concerned about his nails and flea prevention (cat is solely indoor, and I am not outdoorsy). No mention of dental issues. Went to a new vet yesterday due to new concern/having moved, was told that my cat has advanced dental disease with broken/missing teeth, and a canine being reabsorbed. This is not something that happens over 8 months. New vet saw in his Main St note from the last visit that he had noted "2/4 dental" which meant there was disease noted. Cats don't let you inspect their mouths readily, so we have to trust what we are told regarding their health. To fail to inform the owner of something like that, which will now cost me about $1300 to remedy, is a massive oversight.

My favorite veterinarian clinic ever! Staff is always professional, polite and make me and my fur baby feel welcomed and at ease. Prices are good too! I recommend this clinic to all pet owners.

Seen quickly by Dr. Nabozny. Exam was very through as we adopted a dog that was dropped at shelter in middle of the night and we had very little health information. X-rays taken, results discussed, blood drawn and meds given. Received follow up call next day to go over blood work. Very pleased with care!

My dog was not feeling well. She’s never sick. I was able to bring her in that day. The employees all know both my dogs. They’re all so pleasant. We’ve been going there forever.

Disappointed! Feels like myself and dog are strangers after 15 years of patronage. As my little guy is in his twilight years, I feel completely alone and lost as to how to best give him his last quality days/months. Feels like this place is now profit driven, and profits are priority! I was encouraged to euthanize in September without full picture of diagnosis. It is now mid December, and he's doing better now than back in September. I simply changed his food...dog is loving life and happy to be alive!!! Last visit...still no credible, professional solution/guidance to help manage/care for a ruptured cyst in his final days/months. I think financial liability and profit is the real reason??? Not the quality of care I use to rely on. Simply Disappointed!

My dog, Monkey, had been a patient here for the entire 6 years that I've had him. The staff here has always been incredibly patient, loving and highly professional, everyone from the vets to the techs. Highly recommend.

    1. Spoke with someone named Samantha. She was very abrasive, cold and seems to have an attitude when you ask multiple questions. She refuses to answer them on get assistance. 2. When I went to pick my dog, I explained that I didn't have this complete balance. She was so rude and asking what I could pay now? I responded that I can pay half now and half later and she very rudely replied that the whole amount would have to be paid. I questioned why she even asked then. 3. I found out later that this vet accepts Care Credit, that she didn't even offer to me. 4. I called again a month or so later asking what services the vet does to locate a tumor. She kept asking for my pet's name. She would not answer me. She only told they don't do ultrasounds. I asked her several times what procedures/services is offered to determine if an animal has a possible tumor that cant be seen. She kept asking for my pet's name. I then asked her name and immediately asked to be transferred. She is so very rude, cold and unempathetic. People who sick pets are stressed and a number of things, people like Samantha may need to find a different line of work if she cant exemplify the empathy needed when interacting with pet parents who pay a whole heap of money to this business. 5. I told them that she has one more time before I take my dog and cats somewhere else. She should be glad that people care about their lives more than they do, the ignorance of people who work with people but have not customer service skills. WHO HIRED SAMANTHA???

Buggy got great care there for his bronchitis. Loved Dr. Westall! She really listened and was thorough. Having 2 pugs of her own, I felt even more confident in her treating my pug.
