Dirty hotel, poor quality of food, unfriendly workers. I saw several elderly men in the hotel with "girlfriends" who looked like their granddaughters. The Hotel allows these things that violate the dignity and is really bad for those of us who travel with minors.

Nice hotel with friendly staff, pool is awesome too. Just wish they had more waitresses pool side.

Horrible. Food is terrible and the portions are small. Water is contaminated. I asked them to hold y bags and when I got home, I was missing one ring, one pendant and some gifts that I had purchased.

The service is not good and it doesn't make you feel comfortable it is sad that you go looking for a good place and you find not the good times you were looking for. I don't recommend this hotel

With more efficient management the Pernik could be a much better hotel, but most guests will enjoy their stay here. It is a brisk 30 minute walk to the city centre. Depending on the number of guests, the breakfast could be an extensive buffet, or a much more meagre offering served direct to your restaurant table. Bedrooms are generally good,, and prices even better; £25 a night B&B is good value I shall be staying again here in September 2016, and will update this review afterwards, not having stayed there for 2 years.

The reception and price were great, the room was basic but served the needs of those using only to sleep. The cleaning service was abysmal and it was clear they do not clean the floors.. fresh towels every day and breakfast included (7:30-9:30am). They have a pool- which was questionable, and we couldn’t find bottled water ANYWHERE. Not a location with many taxis available, 5-10 minute walk from the stadium and small shops that sell cold beers and water, little sandwiches. Holguin loses electricity during the day with the condition that it does not at night, so the AC in the room was functional when it matters. Overall, not great- not bad. Low expectations

The staff was amazing! Unfortunately there were several large groups including a professional baseball team so it was always very loud and crowded.

Clean, freindly, internet access, nice pool. Meals are limited and internet access is by prepaid cards that only work in specific places, does not work in most rooms.

Great place for the center of Holguin

This was once a great hotel. These days it's a value chain level hotel with a few above board amenities including the pool area. That being said, the food service is limited at best and it seems as though their dining restaurant (for breakfast) could not care to be bothered or just didn't want to serve you. This happened to someone in our group and when I went to grab breakfast before the ending time, I was told they were already closed. The staff by the pool area seemed friendly but given the experiences I just had, I think I would look for other options before I booked this hotel again. By the way, booking a taxi for the airport through the front desk meant very cool 1950's car rides. That was a highlight of our stay.

The place old and the government of Cuba they didn't care about this hotel many people they threw garbage in the ocean and everywhere around the hotel and from the airport to the Hotel difficult everybody we see the garbage everywhere for the future you need build a train connect all the result everywhere in Cuba this is the good the future the government of Cuba if they deal with Russia and China do they fix a lot of problems this is good the future for tourist
