Hotel El Bosque is a hotel-clinic facility where they apparently "handle" positive covid cases. This facility is terrible. Room was not clean at all, no curtain, no fridge, broken phone and phone system, toilet flush that was replaced with a string to pull to flush the toilet, very rusty shower and toilet paper holder. Food was so bad! I was one of few Canadian tourists in Cuba who got victimized by their PCR test scam and was sent to this facility. They pick 1 random person per hotel/Resort to get a vindictive positive pcr result and send to thjs hotel-clinic for mandatory 5-day observation and then will insist for you to take a medication called Heberon Alfa and tells you that they guarantee negative pcr test result if you take it. Even if you refused multiple times the doctors will keep trying to convince you to say yes to it. They won't tell you how much it'll cost you for medication and for staying there even if you asked multiple times. They will not give you a copy of your bill until they finally charged your card - watch out! They will over charge your card as well. I strongly advise avoiding travel to Cuba if you don't want to get victimized by this organized crime making profit out of pandemic!

Stay there for 4 nights. The bed was very comfortable and the air-conditioning works just fine. Like most places in Cuba the water pressure as a bit to desire. That's the reason for the four stars the shower seem to work well but the commode sometimes would not. The people at the hotel are very kind and helpful. The people of the city are the best! I purchased an internet card and was unable to use it. Very frustrating being an American not having internet... Lol... I continually tried and was able to get connected for about 30 seconds. The range of WI-FI was very weak and only available to get onto the internet and one particular spot at the hotel. if you're looking for a place to stay in Cuba this would be a recommended place the food is great. They made special dishes for us that wasn't on the breakfast bar. The main thing is that everything seemed to be clean. They had plenty of bottled water so there's no worry of getting dehydrated. I love this place I love Cuba and I love the people in this city.

Very clean and very beautiful. There's a really nice balance of having a night life scene and not shaking the rooms with partying. I'm very satisfied. The only warning is that the water isn't consistently warm, so take your shower when you can. Muy limpio y muy bello. Hay un buen equilibrio entre tener una discoteca y un bar y aún poder dormirse sin ruido. Estoy bien satisfecha. El único aviso es que el agua en las habitaciones está a veces tibia o fría--depende del tiempo del día.

Great continental breakfast, make sure you wait long enough for warm water in the shower, it's there !

A little bit expensive, staff very friendly, really nice bar and pool services. We would like to try something different next time. My trip was April, 2019. It maybe different now.

Rooms were kept clean and the villas were quiet.
