After
going
through
all
these
situations,
which
only
represent
a
small
glimpse
into
a
truly
disastrous
experience,
you
will
understand
why
I
cannot
recommend
this
place
at
all.
This
trip
will
be,
without
a
doubt,
my
last
visit
to
Cuba.
The
quality
of
the
food
is
lamentable;
There
is
no
bottled
water
anywhere,
and
we
have
been
without
water
to
wash
ourselves
or
flush
the
toilets
for
two
long
days.
Even
when
water
is
available,
new
problems
arise.
The
water
flowing
from
the
pipes
had
a
muddy
color,
a
real
disgust
that
persisted
for
several
days
of
my
stay.
The
rooms
are
extremely
mediocre
and
emanate
an
unpleasant
smell.
Faucets
don't
work
unless
you
use
both
hands
to
turn
them
on.
In
addition,
some
hallways
have
leaks
in
the
ceiling.
The
whole
place,
with
its
ceramic
floor,
turns
into
a
skating
rink
when
wet,
which
proved
to
be
a
considerable
problem
given
that
my
octogenarian
grandfather
was
accompanying
me.
If
you
decide
to
take
a
walk,
the
only
thing
you
will
find
in
the
surroundings
are
shacks
of
residents
in
extreme
poverty,
evidencing
the
harsh
situation
that
citizens
are
experiencing.
Customer
service
ranges
from
five-star
receptionists
to
waitresses
and
restaurant
managers
who
consider
offering
service
to
be
"kind
of
a
favor"
to
customers.
Furthermore,
they
dare
to
decide
how
much
a
client
should
eat
or
drink,
a
complete
idiocy
that
borders
on
the
collective
psychosis
that
reigns
in
this
place
that
they
try
to
sell
as
a
four-star
hotel.
They
even
make
you
book
a
so-called
restaurant
that
offers
a
seafood
dinner,
but
they
only
serve
chicken,
fish,
beef,
and,
at
best,
half
of
ONE
lobster
when
they
don't
run
out
of
existing
units
after
the
first
one.
Time
to
open
the
place.
I
never
understood
what
the
reason
was
for
making
the
reservation
in
the
first
place.
