January 2023 update: Despite a resolution with the Better Business Bureau which included a refund of some of the months of EoS membership and cancellation of contract, EoS continues to bill my account. If you search “BBB EoS Complaints” you’ll see that EoS has very shady business/legal practices with their customers over similar issues like contract, delivery of services and more. Their current rating is a B+ which is not great in terms of the Better Business Bureau. Previous review: everything is constantly broken. Right now 2/3 urinals in the mens room have been broken for a week. 1/2 of the drinking fountains has been out of order for the same time. The roof still leaks months every after this posting. Avoid. This place used to be a good location, now it is constantly too busy. The parking lot is crowded and then somehow the gym is even more crowded. The equipment is either broken or unavailable because the gym is busy even at 8 or 9 pm. The men’s lockerroom always smells dirty in the bathroom area. The roof always leaks and so there’s a couple of handfuls of buckets scattered around the location. Stick with your current gym membership wherever that is. See below for the response from EoS. They need more details to understand why trying to sign up a bunch more people with free week long passes is frustrating when the gym is already very busy at a non-peak time like 9 p.m. Oblivious and tone deaf.

The business practice at this place is not truthful. When you sign up they never inform you in advance that you have to pay for an extra month to cancel your membership. They typically have you go to there location to cancel, so I did just to get informed that someone will call you back to confirm the cancellation? I’m assuming because they have to inform you that YOU have to give them a 30 day notice and most likely charge you again for another month! Reading all the reviews I can I see that a lot of people were not informed about a 30 advance notice when they signed up. They even try to charge me yearly fee? Why would I pay for the yearly fee if I’m not staying for another year? I paid that last year. Well who ever called me today informed me that they won’t charge me a yearly fee. So I’m going to wait hope that I won’t get charge the yearly fee. I do not recommend this gym at all. Don’t waste your time and money. Plus they also state in there terms that you the buyer, may cancel this agreements by giving a minimum of thirty days prior to your next schedule dues payment? That’s miss leading information. Does not really state that we are force to pay an extra month.

Machines are always broken, the ceiling leaks, no one takes care of this place or your children. Check out everyone in the daycare hanging out with their buddies and not the kids they're supposed to be watching. Update: I forgot to mention that no one is ever behind the front desk after a certain time. So, make sure to get some free gym time after around 8 or 9 PM. This gym is absolutely worth it if you go in for free.

We come to this gym 5-6 days a week and used to absolutely love it, but it has gone downhill so quickly. We came from Vasa and were excited for a new, clean facility and have been increasingly disappointed. The ceiling is constantly leaking, there are buckets and rags collecting water everywhere. Hair and dirt coat the floor. Equipment seems to be more & more unavailable; last month the entire cardio deck was roped off. The KidsCare was a highlight for us until they continuously turned over staff due to poor treatment from upper management. Looking for a new gym.

Why is it always so hot here? And that’s my first complaint. I have been going to this gym since 2021 and the quality has gone downhill over the past 6 months. Besides the heat, he men’s locker room is the main issue here. How is it so disgusting? I wish people generally behaved better and took pride in the shared space, but that’s not happening (or maybe rules aren’t being enforced?). I occasionally use the urinals and that’s almost too much. The place stinks of body odor, body spray, bowel movements and something else I can’t put my finger on. I really don’t want to mention it, but there was “fluid” all over one of the toilets. I would really like to use the pool, but I’m afraid it isn’t clean (based on my assessment of the locker room). I will say that they have done a great job at keeping most of the treadmills functioning. There was a time where it seemed every other one was out of order. I don’t want to end my membership, but it’s looking like I might have to.

I have been a member at this gym for a year now, when it first opened the staff was super friendly, equipment was always clean and the community was strong. These past few months I’ve noticed a change in team members, morale has changed, and I feel stressed just to be there. I hope this can change, as I know many members are feeling the same way. Be well!

overall great gym, but there are two major issues. 1) there are not nearly enough free/ movable benches/ boxes. it is rare that you can find an open one for use unless you’re there at 2am. 2) most importantly, the ventilation is extremely poor. If you’re doing an intense workout you will have to walk outside to find cool air. The temperature in the gym seems to be around 73 degrees with very little airflow. If these two things were remedied it’d be a five star affordable gym.

Great gym for gym goers, We came for a day pass since we are out of town. Caroline was super helpful and gave us a deal. The gym has plenty of free weights, machines and cardio equipment. Definitely more geared towards people who want to do weight lifting or athletic training, but there is a studio that looks like it has yoga or Zumba classes. They were even nice enough to let us try out their hydro massage in the recovery room. If we lived in the area we would be getting a membership.

The EOS in Murray used to be great until Sandy opened. Now the Murray gym is really deteriorating. There used to be a cleaning crew there regularly and now it sees as of nothing is cleaned. Last week there was a employee walking around with a tiny hand vacuum making more noise than actually cleaning anything. The equipment is dirty other than where the patrons wipe it off. The front desk staff used to be really friendly. I was always impressed. Now, someone is at the front desk about 50% of the time and they are not unfriendly but they are usually just talking to other employees or on their phones. You go to Sandy and everyone is going above and beyond. This seems like a management thing. Put all your resources into the new gym to get more members and let the older gyms struggle. It’s really sad.

1 star is even generous. DO NOT SIGN UP AT THIS GYM, I'm not sure if it's just the Murray location or all of them, but they are AWFUL. I have been trying to cancel my personal training for months now. I wanted to freeze it originally, but they were unable to freeze the personal training for months, with no explanation as to why. I then chose to cancel completely. I continue to be charged. I was promised a resolution and weeks later I continue to be charged. The GM Chris is absolutely useless and doesn't know how to respond to an email. His managers at the store have promised resolutions which have not been met. It is impossible to get ahold of someone at corporate. Not to mention the saunas and bathrooms are often dirty and gross. I would NOT recommend this gym.

It’s probably a great gym for those who are SUPER committed to working out every week. I was just unsatisfied with the frequency of classes and how much you have to pay for your membership. You may get your first month for basically free but be well aware you will be paying the yearly fee (that you can not get out of) and the full month for month 2. Overall the gym was clean and nice- I just wish I didn’t fork over so much money when I was just trying to figure out if I even liked it or not. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Real quick, never pay above base membership fee, there is a $50 downgrade fee if you choose a higher one. Also, higher membership levels have about 2 worthwhile perks, these rest is useless. Remember, this is still a GYM, their #1 priority is extracting money from you at every turn. So never pay above base membership fees. Also, canceling requires being in-person, which honestly should be illegal these days, but just keep that in mind or they WILL charge you even when you've moved away. And they will not let you cancel online or over the phone. Used to love this place, great personal trainers and equipment. Then I had an issue where my trainers were switched around and scheduling was mixed up several times in a row with no personal training given. Even though I had PAID for 20+ personal training sessions that I never received, Mike and management at EoS made sure not to refund me or get me makeup personal training sessions. Instead they jerked me around for 3 months claiming to have "made an error" or "scheduled at the wrong time" until I was convinced to just cancel my membership. Honestly, this place is was great but then they chose to completely disregard and just ghost me as often as possible. 5 stars for what they used to be but now, 2 stars because the location is convenient and that's about all they have going for them anymore.

I have been coming here for almost a year now. It has been impressive with how well maintained the gym is with how many members come here. Now don't get me wrong it does get dirty but I mean the volume of people who come here is nothing to scoff at. The machines are usually up and running and if they are down they are back to service in a reasonable amount of time. The biggest thing and why I enjoy this gym is the bathrooms. Even with how many people come here they will still be quite clean and soap in the dispensers. I'm glad because when it comes to a usable shower at the gym it's my number one reason why I return. Thanks to the staff for keeping things well maintained.

I’ve been to a lot of gyms and this one has been very welcoming and encouraging. It’s 24 hours and the equipment is nice and well kept. I met with Johnny who helped me sign up for a membership, then I met with Hunter who helped me sign up for personal training. He explained a lot of things to me and his energy shows his passion for fitness and helping others. Luke was extremely friendly welcoming everyone to the gym. Highly recommend to go here! I’m excited I switched gyms!

See photo for reference on how they take care of their locker rooms. Dust and dirt clumps all over the 1/4 sized basketball court. It’s clear that certain places don’t get cleaned EVER. Gym itself is actually decent. Cleanliness in certain areas will make you want to puke though. They boast about value and affordability, but unfortunately, you get what you pay for.

Super fun and friendly staff! Cool clean gym with lots of options for working out! For $25 a month I feel like I get so much more for my money compared to other gyms. Only downside is it’s SUPER busy during the week.

I have have been a member since the day the gym opened 2 1/2 years ago and they still haven't figured out how to fix the leaking roof or bathroom plumbing. There is currently a huge pool of water on the bathroom floor that smells like urine and nobody is doing anything to clean it. Several pieces of equipment are broken and haven't been fixed in months. The management doesn't take care of this gym at all.

Not enough mirrors. One entire half of the gym has not a single mirror. Who decided that? Horrible design choice. And to make matters worse the mirrors by the power racks have been broken and missing for 6 months. No signs of replacing them. Also, the gym is a complete zoo past 5pm. It’s impossible to get a good workout here on a weekday evening.

Used to like EOS. The location in West Jordan wasn't bad, but this one has its issues. Staff are not as friendly and polite as the West Jordan location. In fact, I had issues with staff trying to start issues with me because they assumed I was doing something which wasn't the case. Machines that broke would never get fixed. I mean one of the leg machines is the only one of its kind there and it never got fixed. Months went by and I really wanted to use that machine. Showers would be broken and never fixed. I switched to a different gym and it is a lot better. Nothing is ever broken, and the people there are really nice. Oh yeah, also! If you are going to cancel, you have to cancel OVER a month in advance because they like to take your money. I canceled a month in advance, and they still charged me because they say it's in the long contract that no one reads. Shows how scummy they are. Never had that issue. It was always 15 days advance at other gyms.

Murray is such an amazing location! Cameron and Justin are both super helpful and do a great job! The facility is always pretty clean and there is almost always one or more of the machine you want open. Their PT team is also super amazing and very knowledgeable about their killer supplements!

Love it here!! Hadn’t gone to a gym in almost 5 years and I feel so comfortable here. It’s spacious, rarely if ever have to wait for a machine to be open since they have multiples. The Kids Club IS THE BEST! My little 3 year old absolutely loves it there and I know he is in such good hands when dropping him off. If it weren’t for the Kids Club I wouldn’t be able to workout, so I’m super grateful for them. 🤍

Love it here but don’t bother going from 5-9 pm on weekdays. Recently it’s been so extremely bad and a lot of other people aren’t even courteous about the situation. I’ve had people speed in front of me to take a parking spot, run to an open machine I was waiting for, etc. There’s a lot of people who sit on their phones or set their stuff down at a different machine before finishing their sets somewhere else. If you have a lot of time on your hands and don’t mind waiting, sure. Sometimes it really does upset me though because I end up spending 2 hours in there for a 45 minute long circuit set. Regardless of other peoples actions and behavior- the gym itself is awesome. Everything’s super modern and in great condition and there’s a lot of variety. I really hope they do something to limit the amount of people at one time. I understand most people work 9-5’s and want to get a pump in after work but it’s insane how many people are in there. It looks like a rave some days.

Great Gym. Lots of equipment. Cool lay out. I spend atleast 10 hours a week here. Side note… was asked by a staff why I bring my own pull down rope. Reason was both were often being used and not in great shape…1 week later there are brand new ropes everywhere 👍

Going her a month now. Staff is very nice and the people that come here are very diverse. All kinds of people and sizes. Nobody is looked down here. I'm a bigger guy trying to loose some wight but the atmosphere created makes it so I don't feel out if place at the gym. Highly recomend there top tier pass. The water jet beds make it all worth it after a hard work out.

  • 5/5 Barrett L. 2 years ago on Google
Great gym, friendly staff. We moved and it was easy to cancel, took a 5 minutes to read through the docs and fire off an email. Yes, it takes a 30 day advance notice, but you can continue to use the gym during this time - so you don't "have to pay an extra month to cancel". Obi Juan clearly didn't read his contract. Life Pro Tip: read anything you sign.

This location has been steadily become more neglected and more disgusting. Nothing ever gets cleaned, there have been an entire wall of mirrors missing for 9 months. Men's locker room is GROSS. I have watched staff literally walk in, initial the cleaning sheet and walk out. There has been feces on the floor, the lockers are all breaking and have never been cleaned or wiped down. Soap is consistently out. Staff is friendly but all really just hang out at the front chatting to each other or on their phones. Extremely disappointed because a year ago it was such a great location

The EōS located in Murray is a great gym with plenty of equipment to workout whatever you need. It is clean and well kept and the staff is extremely helpful. Ellis was even able to hook a buddy of mine and I up with free shirts.

Honestly the gym is very well kept clean and it’s everywhere. The bathrooms are always clean no matter the time and all the machines look new. Also the staff is great It’s been a pleasure to become friends with T and even Seth. It’s a welcoming gym to say the least

I’ve been a member of a few different gyms. This one I feel like a part of the family. It’s always clean. Staff are always friends and willing to help. Broken equipment gets fixed quicker than anywhere else I’ve been. I love going here!

Honestly I have been having an awesome experience with EōS. Awesome vibe, great equipment, I love that it’s open 24/7, clean and well kept. I usually go at night, and the front desk guy-Tyler- is always super nice and helpful. My only thing is that sometimes it’s needed repairs, the roof, dry sauna, hot tub. Minor things.

  • 5/5 Taylor B. 10 months ago on Google
Nice people, helpful staff, tons and tons of equipment. I also get there feel there are less hidden fees here. Lots of power lifting racks. No outside area. Overall would recommend.

Customer service is rude as hell and followed my fiancé to the bathroom to have him scan again. Regardless of the situation, no one should be followed into the bathroom for a membership we pay for. Person I spoke to acted like it was fraud and definitely was disrespectful to him in person and to me on the phone. We have the black membership and have been to the gym a couple of months. It’s a shame this happened. Might switch and put my money elsewhere. Do better. (Rep’s name was pronounced ‘Ellis’, white bald man in 20s)

Was always skeptical of personal trainers and had difficulty finding one I felt comfortable with, yet also sufficiently motivated by. If you’re needing a trainer that’s both friendly and professional, patient but knows when to push you further, and confident in their knowledge without being judgmental I highly urge you to ask for my personal trainer Addison Cox. She listens to my specific goals and concerns and responds with plans and advice that best suit my needs and body type rather than just general advice you can find online. She’s trustworthy and well educated in weightlifting as well as just a genuine human.

I found everything I was looking for at a gym by going to visit EōS fitness. I almost didn’t go but Chris Mason is the one who made the whole experience!! He genuinely cared about my questions and was so knowledgeable and thorough with his responses. I never felt rushed. Every time I have been there it has been so clean and all the equipment has worked wonderfully!! EōS fitness makes me feel like I’m part of a great community and I’m always looking forward to my workout and getting to see great people who love what they do.

Payton and Mitchell helped me beyond my expectations of any other trainer's I have worked with before, they don't provide cookie cutter programs instead it's all out of the box, fun and more optimal exercises. So refreshing! I am so very impressed by their knowledge and the way they expanded my goals with that knowledge! I feel so much more confident, free and comfortable in achieving my goals now! Thank you Payton and his team for guiding me to become my best self! So excited for this journey! Much love!

I'm very impressed with Payton (fitness manager) and his team. They were able to identify and assess the issues with my back. Allowing me to work out more freely and pain free. They taught me about mind, body connection. Linking the breathe, to expunge the stresses being held in my body. The energy I have now, is tremendously big. What a game changer! :) I'm so very grateful.

While I was in town visiting family I had the pleasure of visiting EOS with some friends. I have always had a difficult time finding motivation to work out but after just one training session with Payton I was VERY Impressed! Not only did he educate me on proper workouts for my body type and achieving my goals he also gave me some tips for gaining and keeping motivation! I have been using those tips to stay motivated over the last few weeks and couldn’t be more excited to go to the gym each day. If I didn’t live out of state I would absolutely sign up to training with him regularly! In fact, I’ve had thoughts of moving back just to train with him but for now I’m using his motivation techniques to work towards my goals. Thank you Payton!!!
