This is a lovely theatre - feels very local, and is obviously well supported. Lovely big bar and outside seating. And the theatre itself is very well laid out with excellent sight lines. Very reasonably priced tickets.

Lovely theatre off Upper Street, Islington. Easy to get to, good transport links. Watched 'The Secret Life of Bees' which was truly amazing. Outstanding music and performances. Intimate theatre with a great cafe with reasonably priced food and drinks. Production started 30 minutes after the published time but that was fine as there is plenty of seating in the foyer and cafe.

Beautiful theatre. We got the privilege of watching Romeo and Juliet and it was an amazing experience. The theatre felt very intimate and the actors were outstanding.

First visit to the Almedia Theatre. Front of House staff. Friendly and helpful. Cafe/bar reasonable I think the theatre is across two buildings. But the performance space in one. Show: Portia Coughlan A moving and difficult at times play. The cast is excellent. Especially, Alison Oliver as the titular Portia. The play set in Ireland through I've not met an Irish woman called Portia. Kathy Kiera Clarke is excellent in both comedic parts and the more serious elements of the play. A very powerful play.

Lovely theater with a very efficient cafe/bar. As it's humanly sized it was very pleasant to get in & out with rather comfy seating arrangements.

Intimate theater showcasing brilliant talent. It is incredibly enjoyable to see a show here. I doubt there is a “bad” seat and the lovely cafe makes for wonderful pre show and intermission experience. Pro tip to place your intermission orders at the cafe before the show for quick and easy pickup without a line!

A little gem of a theatre, intimate and cosy, good acoustics and great views even from the back seats! A smart and unusual play tonight: we enjoyed every minute of "the mirror"!

A lovely intimate theatre that ensures the experience is up close and personal for everyone (although there are the usual few awkward spots). Especially nice for productions that cater for that. You can get swanky snacks and drinks before the show too. Nice G and T! Yom.

Been to the Almeida before. Great small theatre in Islington. Saw 'Cold War' this time. Fabulous production with some very strong individual performances and great music. Small Cafe, friendly staff, efficient on line ticket sales, comfy seats, if a little small. Really enjoyed. Will definitely go here again.
