I'm a coffee enthusiast, and It's not easy for me to be satisfied with most coffees I have while traveling. Drip coffee is not widely available in Europe. However, I started finding it in more places recently. I had prepared a list of specialty coffee shops and ‏roasteries in London. Rosslyn has topped the list by giving me an outrageously delicious, fruity, and aromatic cup of coffee. I fell in love with their coffee and kept coming back. I can't stop recommending it to any of my friends visiting London. Rosslyn team, keep up the good work. 🌹

There are some really decent independent coffee shops around London and Rosslyn is definitely one of them. And clearly among the better ones. Usually quite crowded in the afternoon hours, it is worth the wait if you want to enjoy some very nice coffee. The flat white and a Cappuccino or excellent, espresso itself is a bit too much acid, it goes better with some milk. The staff is friendly and knows how to prepare good coffee. Why you wait, you might as well take some time and look at the interior: Industrial style, rather minimalistic, with some special features. I really like the watch stating that it’s always coffee o’clock. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely cafe, having 3 branches in this area but only this one opens during weekend (and it’s only Saturday). Nice coffee!

Filter coffee pour over method is definitely better than any I have tasted in London. They have limited selection of beans ( winners of competition ) a bit expensive but definitely worth it. They sell their coffee beans as well. Orange pie is Delicious. The staff is friendly and knows how to prepare good coffee you can truly appreciate people with knowledge. When you wait you might as well take some time and look at the interior: Industrial style, rather minimalistic. I really like the watch stating that it’s always coffee o’clock. Definitely worth a visit.

My usual everyday go to and dare I say the best coffee I've had in London? Ok £3.80 for a flat white it's a bit of daylight robbery but damn it is a really good coffee. Can be a long queue during rush hours but it's worth the wait. Can be better or worse w different batista but it's always solid🥹

Friendly, speciality and rare coffees off-menu. Educational if you want to talk coffee.

Cute coffee place - we went there after a visit to the Tate and happened exactly on lunchtime together with all the suited City people. Though the place was busy, the service was friendly and fast. Our flat white and mocha were very good, as well as the custard donut. Not a lot of seating places - just a few benches outside and window seats inside.

Absolutely lovely little coffee shop! Was in the area and dropped in for a quick coffee. What a surprise! Not many seats but most people seem to be taking away. No food was available, but that wasn't what I was there for. The latte I had was perfect. All too often it is too hot or cold, the coffee used is of poorer quality and the foam is limp and lacklustre. How different it is here! Absolutely, one of the best coffees I have ever had. Great blend (of which I will be taking some beans home myself), perfect heat, superb froth. Delightful! The icing on the cake (if you can excuse the pun!) was the treat in the form of an Espresso Soft Serve. In effect a Mr Whippy blended with an expresso. Marvellous! Next time I am walking past, I shall definitely stop. I may even change my route to "walk past" Thank you Rosslyn!

This place is not too far from Whitechapel...nice little walk to get here. And it's worth it. The coffee is amazing! A very smooth, thick texture. I had a flat white.. Which was soft, mellow, nutty, caramel like taste. Setup is clean and eye catching. Staff are very friendly and took their time explain what they had and makes their coffee special... Even though we went just before closing. If your a coffee lover and you never had Rosslyn coffee... Then you never had coffee... Once you try these guys.. Coffee won't be the same. Keep up the good work guys!

Flat white! Must go for the flat white! Edited. I went for Chai Latte and Hot Chocolate today. The hot chocolate is the bomb!

Really lovely decor, great coffee, and a super friendly team to make everything 💯. Soft serve is a treat and I can confirm that the oat milk flat white + almond croissant combo is absolutely fantastic. My fav local cafe at the moment and doesn’t seem like it will change anytime soon!

Have wanted to come here for a long time and it was worth the wait. Slightly more expensive than coffee elsewhere however cheaper than some high street franchise conglomerate names and far nicer. Shop is modern and sleek, staff were friendly and coffee was served swiftly! Be aware not too much seating inside and seating areas can often be busy! Coffee was delightful, chose a long black which was ~£3.80. Looking forward to going back to try other coffees from the menu. They also offer coffee for sale online which is slightly more expensive than other competitors but worth it if you find it’s the one for you! Coffee beans can also be bought in store. Highly recommend if you’re walking past or travelling a little way for as you’re only a 5 minute walk from the Thames (at the Victoria St. branch).

    - CANT beat the aesthetics and taste of this coffee, look how pretty the takeaway cups are; you actually want to carry it around! - the coffee tasted significantly better in quality than mainstream/chain cafes - No seating here; stand and drink inside, or sit on the bench outside; hence the 3 stars for atmosphere - very clean interior - extremely attentive, pleasant, friendly staff who actually treat you like a person rather than another chore/customer in line I got a piccolo, which is something you don’t find in every coffee shop, it’s much more specialty in my opinion. I wouldn’t get it again as it’s not my thing, I’d go for an espresso next after seeing James Hoffman’s YT Short on the caffeine content of Rosslyn’s espresso! I also tried their brown sugar cookie which wasn’t too sweet but sweet enough to enjoy with a very bitter coffee and taste like a dessert. Definitely one the nicest cookies I’ve had! I got their dark chocolate too, in front of the till. Not my favourite at all. Chalky, not smooth, does not melt ( you have to bite it until it eventually melts), and overall low quality. Don’t recommend that.

Considering the queues of this place I was expecting a wow coffee. The vibes/atmosphere is definitely a great touch and elevated the coffee shop purchase experience but when it came to the coffee itself... It could do a lot better. I personally felt the coffee was too bitter and I own a coffee machine at home and have tried many coffee chains in my life. I would say you can definitely taste quality from the roast but too bitter of a selection. Grind produces more smooth coffee and better/pleasant taste. Around City of London, Grind is still top dog for actual coffee. Vibes can give it to Rosslyn.

Says that it is aiming for the 'attention to detail of the great Australian cafe', and achieves it through even having staff say 'espressi'. Stand inside or sit out, perhaps with the free FT available. Busy during mid-week lunch hours.

The coffee here is simply outstanding! The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. In addition to their exceptional coffee, they also offer a variety of delectable pastries and snacks that perfectly complement your beverage. One of the standout features of Rosslyn Coffee is its ideal location. Situated in the heart of Queen Victoria Street, it’s a convenient and accessible spot for locals and tourists alike. Whether you’re exploring the city or looking for a quick coffee break during your workday, Rosslyn Coffee is a must-visit destination. ☕️👍

Best coffee I have had in London. Very good customer service and clean shop. It was only 10:40am and it was super busy but well worth the wait. Would recommend purchasing if you are looking for great coffee.

I would recommend here. Yes, they make proper latte. Useually, latte is bit strong for me in London. But this one has flavor and good enough.

Stylish and cozy cafe in front of the underground station. Staff was friendly and cheerful. I had a iced latte which was nice. I will definitely try their patisseries next time.

Can't say a single bad thing about the guys. Good vibes, working really fast for the location and the quality of the coffee they've achieved + their hot chocolate is second to none in London at the least. I'd drop a point for 0 seating inside, but this is not a seating type of establishment - more of a quick cuppa during the break, and potentially some quick chatter behind the standing tables.

Outstanding coffee from a super friendly team. Try the soft serve if you get a chance while it's around in the summer!

Stopped by Rosslyn coffee on my last day in London. I had this beautiful flatwhite, it was so delicious! Even if I visited really busy hour, the atmosphere was so nice, staff was all friendly and cheerful, and best quality coffee was served. impressive! I also bought filter beans which collaborated with FT, Ethiopia. I enjoyed this at home too. Thank you Rosslyn, I will def visit again, because I couldn’t have espresso soft icecream! ciao❣️

I stopped here to refuel on the way towards bank. The coffee was bold enough to do justice to the Aussie flat white. They also do soft serve espresso ice cream 🥰. I was served by Maddie, who was in a great mood and told me about the origins of the coffee.

I’m yet to try their coffee, but their espresso soft serve was excellent - a great bit of ingenuity and something to separate it from other coffee shops in London.

Lovely, helpful staff who were clued up on the coffee game around these parts AND also serve some darn diddly good stuff themselves!

Nice little café in the middle of the City, the staff were lovely and there was a good selection of pastries along with the coffee. Great place to watch the world go by while sipping coffee. Only warning is that there's only standing space but no complaints from me.

Rosslyn makes a good iced latte, although the flavor was ever so slightly too fruity for my liking. I’d definitely return to try some of their other coffees. Staff are very friendly and chatty. Good spot for a quick business drink, although it appears to be standing room only.

A lovely place! So lively 🥰 On a Tuesday afternoon it was abuzz. There was a queue but everything moved briskly. Despite being busy, the staff were all so cheery and friendly. The only thing is I wished they had savories like cheese croissants or sandwiches as well. A must visit when in the city!

I go to Rosslyn regularly on my way to work and they have one of the best and most consistent oat flat whites in London (if not the best!!). The staff are incredible and the service is always great. I would recommend Rosslyn to anyone looking for a really really good cup of coffee.

This is my absolute favourite coffee shop. It's a joy to be a regular. Their coffee is the most consistently good in London and every single staff member is a kind, caring, gorgeous dreamboat. I don't know if I want to befriend them, date them or be them.

Specifically coffee place. Ask for “Off Menu Coffees London Wall”. To try their rare and exceptional coffees. You can also get Espresso soft service. This branch has outside chairs.

Really cute coffee shop with friendly employees! I ordered a latte with oat milk and the wait was very minimal. I enjoyed my coffee to go but it’s also a lovely place to sit and people watch!

Coffee here is PERFECT! one of my favorite ever. Flat white with oat milk is amazing. Also the filter coffee. On top of it, impeccable service, cups, paper cups. So much attention to details at this place. ♥️

Popped in to grab a coffee, lovely velvety latte! Blend was delicious, we also grabbed a salted caramel ball thing at the till. I asked the lady serving me what it was and apparently it was made of dates and dried fruit, it had the texture of a flapjack but in a ball and was FULL of flavour. A very pleasant surprise - if you see one definitely try it!

Imagine Yourself having a chill, Sunday's morning, you need good coffee, this is a place what You are looking for. Amazing place with style, nicest staff ever and tasty coffee what will give You nice smooth kick start for the whole day. I went there with my mate, Sunday morning, after boring daily meeting, great experience. Prices, normal like in city around £3.20 for flat white with extra espresso shot, cortado £2.80, but I am not sure. For sure, they will see me there again. Peace!!!

  • 3/5 Lashan R. 2 years ago on Google
The coffee here is good, but not amazing. Giving it 3 stars because pre-pandemic you could get the best coffee in London from this place, flat whites with the most decadent silky texture and so delicious it was like having an out of body experience. Today it definitely wasn't that. I noticed the staff were not from Australia, before you could tell by the accents that everyone was from Melbourne but it seems like they've all left unfortunately, and took their talent with them.

  • 4/5 Yewon P. 1 year ago on Google
Finally got to try Rosslyn. • Flatwhite - Very much balanced note. It does not have strong roastiness so if that’s the type of coffee that you are into, like myself, you might find Rosslyn’s coffee a tad bland. But still pretty great coffee. • Soft serve ice cream- this was very nice. It’s actually coffee-flavoured and not sweet, great dense texture. Would recommend to try out if you’re around St Paul area. The place is fairly small with a couple of bar sittings and outdoor benches- would suitable for takeaway.
