Loved it! Stayed Saturday night so paid a premium for that, but it was free drink night and got a free glass of wine or coke for the stay. Central to all the night life and city buzz, yet rooms were whisper quiet. Super cozy bed, very well equipped especially the filtered water tap, tea menu and TV sound in bathroom so you could listen to the TV goings on while showering. Must stay again when visiting Central London!

Stayed for 10 days in January. The staff here is wonderful. They're efficient, friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic for restaurants, theatre and proximity to public transit. Really loved having the kitchenette in the room. Only issues were a slow drain in the shower and didn't vacuum each day. They weren't major concerns and I have no doubt if I had brought them up it would've been rapidly resolved. Would absolutely stay here again. Everything you want in a hotel: quiet, clean, prime location and great staff.

Fantastic combination of a modern hotel, excellent staff and the best location in Central London. It's obvious management here is hands-on since everything was absolutely great. Eva at the front desk was professional and always greeted us with a smile. Anything we asked for was answered in the affirmative. The beds and pillows (feather filled) were the most comfortable, the windows are sound proof and the bathroom is the best we've experienced in London. We opted for a slightly larger room with a mini kitchen and definitely recommend it. Happy hour with its complimentary wine was just the icing on the cake. We'll definitely be back.

The Resident was incredible and everything I was looking for during our holiday vacation! The location is incredible and the area surrounding the hotel is amazing. Prime location for public transport and just minutes away from both the bus and the Charing Cross Underground entrance. The room was plenty big and very quiet. We heard very little noise while in the room and housekeeping did fantastic service while we were away. The bathroom felt like a 5 star hotel and amazing shower with high water pressure that had very hot water for the cold December weather. If you’re looking for an amazing place to stay within a reasonable budget then The Resident Covent Garden is an easy choice for any traveler!

I loved everything about this hotel! The room is spotless and the beds are very comfortable! The staff goes above and beyond to answer any questions and to help with directions, etc. They are also very friendly, and the location is super convenient for accessing the tube or a bus. We were able to walk to a few different theaters, and there are great options for restaurants, shopping, coffee, or a grocery store. We had a mini kitchen in our room which was helpful! I would most definitely recommend this hotel to others and will stay here again on my next trip to London!

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting London. Perfect location and quiet for sleeping. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean, and I have to say how impressed I was with the bathroom, which was so exceptionally, disability friendly. We also had a lovely breakfast delivered from Soho Coffee. I also received a bottle of wine, balloons, and card for my birthday. Highly recommended.

This hotel is fantastic. And a very special mention to the staff here. I have never known such friendly staff, they were helpful, friendly and professional and extremely polite all times. The rooms here are really nice and clean with excellent facilities in the rooms and well thought through. Everywhere is extremely clean - the rooms, the corridors, the lift, everywhere. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in London. And the bonus is it’s in an excellent location, right near Covent Garden! 5 stars for the Hotel. 10 stars for the staff - thank you for making the stay of my family from Spain such a pleasant one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location and exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff who make you feel right at home. Rooms were clean with the added convenience of kitchenettes. The bed was so incredibly soft and comfortable. Just note that if you are looking for extra space, the standard rooms are relatively small, so would likely feel cramped if you have more than 1-2 luggages or are bringing kids, etc. I only stayed for one night before my flight the next day, but would definitely consider coming back for a longer stay next time I'm in London.

Honestly the best hotel in London- have stayed here thrice, the last time being in December. The location is amazing - so close to Soho, the Strand, Leicester Square and Covent Garden. The rooms are sparkling clean and so comfortable, and the service is immaculate. The staff are friendly and they even received parcels for me a few days before and had them waiting in the room when I checked in. Incredible service.

I booked a room for my daughters 18th and what a fabulous hotel and location. The staff are delightful, helpful and friendly and they even hand made an 18th birthday card and put some balloons on the bed with a complimentary bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. The room was very well thought out and everything is of a high standard and quality. The mini kitchen is an added bonus, and even the TV comes through to the bathroom speakers! The bedroom is spotless and very very clean. I was extremely impressed with the hotel and will be returning. Location is excellent if you are going to see a show like we did and is within walking distance. Covent Gardens is a beautiful area and I would highly recommend this hotel. Its a gem of a find. Thank you for such a memorable stay. Room 406. 10th Jan.

This hotel was filled with a bunch of beautiful staff . The rooms were just enough to chill , relax and sleep . Everything was clean and neat . The location was just amazing, everything was so close and walkable from here. The morning team was the best , who guided us for some beautiful streets and restaurants and were very welcoming . Huge shoutout to Himalay , he is doing an amazing job with his team .

We booked 2 rooms here for 3 nights this week. Was a wonderful hotel, the staff was super helpful with directions, recommendations, and even hailing cabs. The rooms have been beautifully updated with thoughtful storage, and great lightening/ mirrors in the room so more than 1 person can get ready at a time. Needed when trying to make our shows in the West End. The beds were very comfortable, especially for those who don’t like sleeping on rock hard mattresses. (Might be too soft for those that do.) Super location for great food, the sights, and transportation. They do not offer breakfast but many good coffee shops very close by. (They’ll also shop for the kitchenette in the room with advanced notice otherwise it’s an empty fridge.) Nice lift, great A/C, and water pressure.

Myself and my daughter stayed at the hotel for my daughters 21st Birthday ( hotel/theatre package) The staff are just so helpful and lovely. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was special and memorable. The bed was sooooo comfy and we had a fantastic nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who wants a central location, awesome staff and reasonably priced venue. A big thank you to all the marvellous staff! X

The Resident is a relatively new small chain of London hotels, but it's making an impact. Good size rooms (with discrete kitchenettes and nicely appointed bathrooms) in great locations. Choose well, and you shouldn't have to take a taxi, bus or train. But the best thing is the staff. They are brilliant. Special mention to Ife. She made our stay perfect.

Spacious, excellent climate control, a shower fit for a king, location perfect, friendly staff that made first time Americans feel welcome. Also a splendid happy hour offering wine and pretzels

What can I say? I have no complaints !! The rooms were nice and the staff was very friendly ,, I specifically enjoyed the speakers in the bathroom - very convenient for those who like to sing in the shower :)

Excellent choice of hotel, on the edge of Covent Garden, with major attractions, theatres, bars and restaurants within easy reach. Our room was comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. The staff could not have been more helpful, even down to arranging breakfast in our room from the deli next door. Would definitely recommend.

Wow! What an amazing experience! My partner surprised me with a night in London for my 40th birthday, and he couldn't have picked a more perfect little boutique hotel for it! From the location, to the clean, luxury feel of the room (that we found out was upgraded when we arrived! 😃) with spoiling toiletries. And best of all, the kind, super friendly staff that made the stay more than perfect! Surprising us once with a bottle of cold, crisp and fruity white wine. And once again, after coming back to our room from an evening out, with a personal birthday card and little birthday treats. Thank you for making our stay even more special than I thought it could be!

From making my booking to my stay at this hotel the staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms absolutely spotless. A great big ‘thank-you’ to the housekeeping team. Beds so comfy. Great Location for Covent Garden and all the theatres.

Exceptional! Very quiet despite Strand's traffic. Well-appointed room (Superior), & spacious enough, especially for London, as it's thoughtfully laid out. The staff are all amazingly professional & friendly. The water pressure in the shower...wow! And the Molton Brown products are a treat. The bed could be firmer, but that's subjective and didn't really ruin our stay.

Great location nice and simple check in, right where you want it to be, yet somehow our room was still really quiet and peaceful. Really well equipped room with tea and coffee facilities, filtered water, sink, microwave etc. Would definitely stay here again!

A great friend invited me to stay over at the Resident where we received a warm welcome and a great service. Nothing seems too much trouble. The shower was the most amazing shower I have ever had in an hotel. And the toiletries provided smelled so divine too.Despite being so close to Covent Garden you could not hear any noises, meaning you could get a peaceful night sleep.

I recently stayed there for a long weekend. Staff were lovely and a credit to the hotel. The room was lovely and a super comfortable bed and probably one of the best showers I've ever used. Cleaners were also lovely and courteous and I will definitely be returning to the Resident, Covent Garden.
