The service is unfortunately very poor. By the time the waiter gave us the attention to order, they also had a great surprise for us; Most of the dishes were sold out. We did not visit during a weekend either, the service and their stock management completely affected the whole experience.

This is my fav dumpling place in Chinatown. I’ve been here multiple times and it has never failed me. They have quite a few seating space but do book and go cos they are usually very busy. Having said that once they accommodated us on a busy Thursday evening without a booking. Ambiance is good. Service is quick. Food is to die for😬 Love love loveeee their chilly oil Dumplings. The dumplings are so moist and yumm and the chilly oil is delish (it makes my mouth water even just while writing this). We love their Dan Dan noodles and spring rolls too, but I keep visiting them for the chilly-oil dumplings. They have a good drinks menu too. What I love the most about this place that they have a full menu dedicated to vegetarians which is the best feeling being a vegetarian, which means I can enjoy all their lovely dishes. Special shout-out to Nemo (I’m glad to have find her 🙃), she’s the warmest, friendliest, sweetest and bestest soul at Baozilnn.

The dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious. Highly recommend the Caramelised Peking Pork Ribs and the Mixed Skewers - tender, perfectly seasoned, and a feast for the senses. A must-visit for a unique culinary experience!

There aren't many seats available so the safest bet is to reserve in advance. We got super lucky and were able to walk in but even then, they were pretty booked. Food was very flavourful and delicious. The tea is amazing as well! I'd highly recommend getting some dimsum or buns here as they are very aesthetic and delicious! The only downside was that the service was very slow and the waiters didn't have enough time to attend to the tables. I'm sure all the workers were trying their best though but it does feel like the restaurant is a bit understaffed.

The food is fantastic. Not your off the mill frozen dumplings place in the Chinatown. Authentic cousine served with high quality ingredients. All te tastes are great. The pork ribs melt off the bone, the dumplings are filled with goodness and the noodles are fresh and tasty. Their service could be better although it is very authentic. The place is small so make sure you reserve a table

Great baozi and wanton place. Food was served in a reasonable time. I was happy with all the baozi, wanton, shumsi we ordered. Fried rice, dandan noodle with veg side dishes were good. However, not happy with service. I expected dumplings to be served first, but rice and noodle came out ahead of dumplings. I guess I had to ask for the specific order of food? Also I made reservation before going, but we had to change the table after drink was served for unknown reason which was a hassle. Staff service is a fail. Too bad the service does not match the food quality.

We had a poor experience, the food wasn’t very good quality, we were stuck downstairs which is cramped. The table wasn’t prepared properly and the server wasn’t having a great day. The toilets were also a little messy, we ended up eating somewhere else after the meal. I’ve give 2 stars as the dumplings are instagramable, they just weren’t tasty.

The portion sizes were really generous, and the interior was quiet and peaceful my friend ordered the fried rice, she like it but would have preferred it to be a bit more spicier. The shredded chicken starter was spicy and salty - I enjoyed this dish. I also ordered the lamb skewer, it was a bit fatty but super flavorful. Service was quick and on point 👍🏽

The tso chicken is so good!!! It’s like sweet and sour chicken but less sweet and less oily, super tasty!! Highly recommended! The lamb rack is also a great choice - with the Southeast Asian style sauces it tastes slightly different from the normal grills I’ve tried in other places (in a good way)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at BaoziInn in Soho’s vibrant Chinatown, and I must say, it was an experience that truly elevated my standards for Chinese cuisine. From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for a memorable meal. The star of the show was undoubtedly the short ribs. Describing them as ‘life-changing’ might sound like an exaggeration, but one taste of these perfectly cooked, flavor-packed ribs, and you’ll understand why. They were tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection – a true masterpiece of culinary art. The rest of the menu was equally impressive. Each dish was a delightful exploration of authentic flavors, presented with a modern twist. The attention to detail in both taste and presentation was evident in every bite. The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. For anyone in London looking for an exceptional Chinese dining experience, BaoziInn in Soho is a must-visit. It’s not just a meal; it’s a foray into the rich tapestry of Chinese flavors. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Great tasting food although a bit expensive. Salt & Pepper baby squid, Dumplings Platter, Emperor’s Tofu and Egg fried rice were all very good however the General Tso’s Chicken was excellent.

Great Dim Sum place in Chinatown! Great and interesting vibe, with friendly helpful staff. I also really like the little gadget where you can call over a waiter or press to pay… really speeds up the process. Like most places you tick off a list of what you want and the menu is very extensive… Food is to die for, absolutely incredible, full of flavour and presented beautifully. Prices are fair for a central London restaurant. If you go with 3 or 4 people and order an absolute feast to share, with alcoholic drinks, the bill will come to about £25-£35 per person. I also have to explicitly recommend their giant Bao Buns, and also the fried squid… which is like heaven in your mouth! Hopefully will come back soon!

Overpriced for the food! The vegetarian/vegan food.isnt worth it. Not that great and generally oily. The service is terrible especially from the old man. We booked a table and got sat downstairs but there were tables free upstairs. Downstairs smelt like piss from the mens toilet Spring rolls soggy /oily Dim sum not worth it Aubergine- so oily Noodles - edible Overall not worth the hype or visit

We ordered two vegetarian noodle dishes (dan dan noodles and zhe jiang noodles) to share, and one veggie skewers. The price is on the more expensive side, but it was an enjoyable meal. Everything was favourable and portions were good. Would love to try their dim sum next time!

Very pleasant experience for some dim sum here. It took a while for us to order given how long the menu is but everything was rather delicious so we were thrilled. Highly recommend the shredded beef to share, it was our best dish. Dim sum in chili oil were excellent also. Atmosphere is fun as you have pictures of Mao everywhere and it feels like you are thrown back 80 years into Communist China. Paid 90£ for four although we didn’t order too much.

Dim Sum made on a level of finesse and purity. Best Dim Sum you can find. Absolutely amazing! I can extremely recommend the cold dishes, the roast pork buns, the soup buns, the Shumai and especially the handmade prawn dumplings. Best Dim Sum restaurant I have ever visited! A must go!

Preise waren in Ordnung. Leider etwas störend, dass die Kellnerinnen einen ständig beobachteten. Trotz der Umstände würde ich definitiv (mit Reservierung) noch mal kommen, da das Essen wirklich sehr lecker war.

I found the restaurant cute and staff very polite and attentive. Food in the other hand was nice but nothing special. Lovely to try different dim sum but it was a bit dry and flavours weren’t all there.

The food was amazing, however they threatened to kick us out even though one of the people was there on time for reservation, which was very rude. Overall the food was very tasty, especially the dumplings.

If you're in London and looking for a fantastic Dim Sum restaurant, this Chinatown spot is a must-try. Not only is the atmosphere interesting and lively, but the staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant also has a convenient gadget that allows you to call over a waiter or pay for your meal, making the dining experience quick and efficient. The menu is extensive, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, and the food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Prices are reasonable for a central London restaurant, including alcoholic drinks around £25-£35 per person. Don't miss out on their giant Bao Buns, crispy tofu and noodles - they are truly delicious.

I wanted to experience some authentic chinese food and the restaurant lived up to the expectations. The ambience was quite interesting and reminded me of pubs in chinese movies. I only had vegeterian dumplings which were amazing in taste with perfect sides of chilli oil and soy sauce. The presentation was also a bit interesting. I highly recommend visiting Baozi Inn if you plan to enjoy good food in Soho.

Great menu of very well-done tasty dumplings. Sadly, service doesn’t stand-up to their food - if you don’t mind being pushed to order their recommendations, get a few of weird stares from the staff and then rushed to pay and leave, then this place is great for you.

We ordered the set menu and the portion is surprisingly large. The chilli crab noodles is definitely the highlight of the meal. The prawn skewers taste amazingly good and the lamb racks taste authentic. Would definitely visit again in the future!
