Amazing clothes, really nice people, but do not like the fact there are no mirrors in the dressing rooms- I do not want to try things on publicly , it ends up making the whole experience awkward and unenjoyable. I appreciate that the staff want to talk to you and help, but for most people they’d like a bit of privacy and less (real or imagined) pressure to spend large amounts of money.

One of my favourite shops in Europe, and not only in London. This shop has very unique and authentic pieces; Every piece is special. The staff have great knowledge of their products. Also, they are very friendly and helpful. A "must" visit!

They offer a large but very curated collection from the best makers in Japan. And absolutely impeccable service from my friend Hu, who is always ready to offer his knowledge and styling advice re the products and does probably the best hemming work in London!

Great little outpost of Japanese Americana goods with a corner coffee shop. The coffee alone is worth the visit as it's excellent quality and very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and the layout is cute.

Had a great experience at Clutch Cafe and thought the staff were amazing! Really unique clothes that I haven't seen elsewhere. I had 2 sales assistants (Tomo you're a star!) helping me for nearly 1.5 hours and I only ended up buying 1 pair of jeans; incredibly patient on their behalf! If I was in their shoes i would have lost the will to live :-) ! Not sure why people moan about their prices, either you can afford their stuff or not, no one is putting a gun to your head! Will definitely be going back there. Cheers guys.

Great stock of fantastic, artisan clothing (selvedge denim, flannels and many other timeless wares) from various brands. Very appropriate vibe with the setting and decor. I like the ground and basement floor setup. The staff was so helpful and went to get something for me to try on that was in a separate warehouse down a ways but not on the floor. I didn’t buy it but appreciated the gesture and they were chill about it. Employees were knowledgeable, able to explain history and details behind items. But I still walked out extremely happy with a Joe McCoy jungle camo shirt.

Fantastic range of Japanese clothing products and really attentive service. The staff are very knowledgeable and willing to find the size of denim jacket that fit the best with how I wanted to wear the piece. If you’re in London and a fan of Japanese denim/clothing - pay these guys a visit!

Was a big fan before I got treated like a criminal for trying to return an item which did not fit. Return policy wasn't made clear at point of sale, but on returning was keenly pointed to the small print!

Authentic quality and curated are the words I’d use to describe this little gem of a menswear store. Great pieces although I find the service a bit remote except if you are visually their type of customer.

Top store, high quality clothes, and very helpful, competent and professional service from the staff. I'll buy again for sure, when I'll be in London next time or from their web site.

It’s great shop with amazing clothing collections and staff. You can definitely find something that you may interested in there. Excellent customer service. The staff are patient and helpful. BIG Thanks to Tomo. Totally worth visiting, especially if you are looking for workwear-inspired clothing by Japanese brand. Btw If you are not based in London, strongly recommend to check out their website. They have amazing Lookbook also very detailed descriptions for each piece. 👍

A great source of very high quality and interesting clothing. It's not cheap by any means, but as someone who's never enjoyed shopping for clothes at all, their staff are incredibly knowledgeable of the products, friendly and open to suggesting options. In summary- a rare treat, but a real treat. 10/10

One of the best menswear shops in London. Vintage clothing, high quality clothes and brands. Lot of japanese and American references like Alden, Buzz Ricksons, rocky mountain, Jelado, Warehouse, Sanders, etc etc. Great service, knows a lot about history of the brand etc. Similar to this shop: Trunk or John Simons 1955
