After disastrous experiences by another salons I was convinced that I can never go blond because of my long, dark red hair, I must stick to dark colours, otherwise my hair will get damaged. Until the day my daughter found David. I seen her hair transformed not more than five sessions from damaged, exhausted darkbrown to a gorgeous, healthy looking platinum blonde. My daughter couldn't praise me David's jobs enough that I have to give him a chance. David has been highlighting-cutting my hair over 5 years and I wouldn't trust my hair anyone but him. I discovered David after going to a friend for my hair in recent years which had led to my hair breaking and severe damage . David really worked a miracle to save my hair . After having my hair highlighted and a deep treatment I noticed my hair growing back and decided to have extensions. These are by far the best extensions I’ve had out of all the different ones I’ve had before . None have fallen out or matted and they match my hair colour so well people think it’s my real hair !! I also purchased some hair treatments from David and I have really noticed how well they have worked to restore my hair . Last minute booking with David to get my roots sorted and a trim. As usual, his quick response with availability shows his professionalism and commitment to his customers. When arriving I always walk into a warm welcoming atmosphere as well as laughter from other clients which is lovely to see and you definitely get treated with the highest standards! I have seen David and his apprentice Jess today (It really shows David's training skill's, Jess who I thought had been doing hair for years is a fantastic girl, also with great customer facing skills!) For the last 5/6 years, I have been searching for a hair stylist that can work with my hair... I had the patch test before the first appointment. On my first appointment David talked me through everything and the gradual process from dark to light (which I knew was required), however on my second appointment... WOW... David has got the perfect summer hair for me I repeat... ON MY SECOND VISIT! Stunning ashy caramel blonde with my natural hair colour filtering through. If you are looking for a local hair dresser who knows what they are doing... then look no further. This guy is super talented along with the lovely Jess who makes a nice cuppa plus makes you feel welcome (they all do!). Reasonable prices and so worth every penny when your hair feels like a million bucks! Thank you David and Jess... I can't stop staring at my hair... you deserve more than 5 stars! I Went to David on recommendation after going to other places and never being fully happy with my colour and my hair was left feeling dull and faded very quickly . I Visited David Brown hair salon today and was given highlights a hair cut and style and I was really happy with the results. It’s a really friendly hairdressers and very clean and tidy. I hadn’t had my hair styled or trimmed for a while so was dreading the visit and there was no need to have been worried it was a really nice experience. Was given advice on my hair, about what we can do on my next visit and other products they offer such as eyelashes, I will deffo go back. David has been doing my hair for years and I would not trust anyone else. He’s amazing and I always come out feeling confident. He never leaves you waiting and works out his timings so you aren’t left sitting in the chair which some hairdressers do unfortunately. Would recommend him To anyone thanks David!

Don’t know what he is doing, poor service 6 hours just sitting and waiting while he is working with other clients. charged me £108 and completely ruined my hair. Lilac pink hair while it was meant to be platinum white. Left with bad colour, bleach burnt poor texture stripy hair which needs urgent fixing. In tears. Asked me to blow dry my own hair after paying for it. Complete shambles.

I have visited David for some facial treatment. Botox, fillers & PDO threads. I have just started a course of prp on my under eyes. To say I was nervous would be an understatement but he put me at ease. Explained everything fully before & during treatment. I'm pleased with the results & would highly recommend David.

I have been to this salon many times, such a lovely experience at this salon for my microblading! The staff there were so friendly and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. They were great at communicating with me, making sure I was happy with the shape and process. I couldn't be happier with the results! So I had my first visit to David’s salon earlier this year using the Groupon offer he was running at the time. On this visit I received a warm welcome from him and Kyle and was treated to a fantastic wash, cut and blow dry. I was delighted with the result and enquired about colouring, what he advised (being a Wella colour trained expert I knew David knew his stuff) and had a simple patch test and left feeling amazing with my new cut. Flash forward four months and I had my next appointment, again I arrived to a warm welcome from David and Kyle (and later on Jess) and of course Elvis and Marilyn. I can’t express enough what an amazing experience I had. Four hours of pampering, and a complete colour revitalise, wash, gloss treatment, cut, blow dry and curls put in (as my hair is naturally curly) and I was blown away with the results. Purple, cherry reds and subtle pinks made my hair look shiny, healthy and on trend. Letting David choose what colours he thought would work based on what I preferred was the best choice I made. He knows his stuff and I knew I was in the best hands. It’s sad to read a couple of nasty reviews from ungrateful, greedy groupon users expecting to get the full colour treatment for next to nothing as I know from first hand experience what an amazing hairdresser and colourist David is, as well as professional, friendly and an all round decent guy. I would wholeheartedly recommend David Brown Hairdressing and Aesthetics to everyone so get booking your appointments!

First time going and not my last; the most friendly team; absolutely adored David who did my hair I was obsessed with the result. I always find it tricky going from long to short and finding a good salon for it but I’m in love with the result. The amount of other services they offer are amazing. David is so well trained at what he does, he was so helping explaining everything he was doing to make her feel at ease and comfortable with the procedure.
