The cheeseburgers and cheese hot dogs here are tasty, and they have great hand-cut fries also. The burgers are big though, make sure to tell them if you only want a single. If you are craving a burger this is your spot

Five Guys came along just when it was needed. Everyone was tired of McDonald’s, and Burger King, and their kind. Worse than tired - people were annoyed, irritated, disgusted even! But there were no other options. No new burger joints that offered better alternatives. Then our heroes arrived. Five of them, of course! The first Five Guys opened on South Parker Road. It was a bit too far for me, although I made it there once in a while. Now there’s this one - on South Colorado Boulevard. So convenient! Before they ever opened in Colorado, good stories about Five Guys were spread by word-of-mouth and online posts. I’m happy to tell you that the rumors were true! That feeling you first had from McDonald’s or Wendy’s a long time ago, but thought had perhaps vanished forever? It’s alive and well at Five Guys. The burgers and fries taste really good - the same way I suppose a Big Mac or a Whopper first tasted to previous burger-buying generations. The Five Guys philosophy has been justly lauded (again, by word-of-mouth and online posts). I can tell you that, in my view, their approach works well. My only advice is to order less than you might think. Even a small order of fries is a lot at this place!

The pictures don't do it justice. I come here about once a month when I want that burger fix. You can really taste the freshness; and the place is packed with potato bags to show you the potatoes they are using that day and where they came from. The fries really are fried to Perfection, and they fill up the bag with them, too. It is worth the price for the quality of the food. There are boxes of peanuts for you to snack on for free while waiting for your food.

I love their hamburgers and fries, but I wish they didn't use American cheese. Or should I say "cheese". It would be five stars if they use cheddar.

Five guys is good for a burger and they give you loads of fries. I also like the strawberry shake sometimes. I was a bit sticker shocked the last time I got a meal for just myself and it was $25. Inflation is hard for everyone.

The burgers and fries are awesome; they really are. However, the price is not. The prices have been creeping up regularly; so much so that it forces the burger to compete in a different class. For almost $20 for a burger and fries, I can get something similar, but much better, somewhere else. So, unfortunately I consider the burger below average for your standard $20 burger and fries.

Stopped to get food. Stood at the counter with two other people behind me waiting. No one there. Plenty of Mexicans in the kitchen. They can stare, but do they do anything? Nope. After about 5 minutes finally one of them decides “hey mahn, maybe i should go get who’s suppose to be up here taking orders”. Doesn’t say a word to me though. Gets her. She comes walking out and she apologized for having me and everyone else wait. Just kidding. She did no such thing. There’s issue number one. Why do companies hire this lazy good for nothings who act as if they are doing customers a favor by being employed? Next. I ordered Cajun fries. Pretty simple. They mess it up. I go and bring it up to them. The same woman felt bad, apologized and when the cook made me a new batch he also was very kind and apologized. Just kidding again. They both did not apologize at all and just acted like I’m being a bother for them not being able to do their job correctly. Five Guys, if you keep with hiring these lazy human beings and not having standards I’ll gladly drop you for a competitor. Get rid of the covid hires and the likely illegal hires and get some standards.

I’ve eaten at five guys many times and they’ve always been very generous with their fries. I just ordered from them and then when I get home, it seemed maybe there was less than half the amount of fries that they normally give, they tasted kind of over cooked and not as fresh, plus they were so salty. I could barely eat them. No napkins included, just really shocked because five guys has always been pretty consistent. The seasoning is a hit or miss but the amount of fries is always generous. This is ironic considering their prices are so much higher but now the customer is getting less? I won’t be going to five guys again for a long time, if ever.

It's a roll of the dice with this location. Sometimes it's fine and sometimes they mess up. But with a restaurant, it really shouldn't be a 50/50 toss up. Today I went in and was the only customer in the entire joint. I ordered one burger with a few toppings. Somehow, despite such a simple and unrushed order, they managed to forget one topping and add another unwanted one; and this "unwanted" topping happens to be the one thing I'm allergic to. Go figure.
