Wow!! The Tonkatsu has a better flavor than the Shoyu (and you know it’s good when your takeout soup congeals in the fridge—delicious!!!), and the meat was tender, the noodles firm, the presentation on point… great service that was speedy once we sat down, and very straight-forward menu. Pictured are the black garlic tonkotsu, tonkotsu, and shoyu, no substititions. The onigiri was fine, definitely spicy mayo makes everything better haha. We ordered tempura shrimp, spicy tuna, and pickled veggie. I probably won’t get any of them again because you can get basically the same thing from H-Mart’s food court down the road five minutes for half the price. The fried chicken was tasty, but it also wasn’t exceptional. The ramen was lovely! We are sad we didn’t get any bok choy in it :/ but perhaps they ran out. Once we ordered, it was prepared speedily and proficiently. Will we be back? Oh yeah! But beware—it’s so popular, there’s often a 30-minute wait. They also appear to seat based more on party size than on FIFO. Still, worth the wait and quite delicious:)

Fast and attentive service. Black garlic ramen was flavorful but could have used more punch on the garlic and the chasu was a bit chewy, almost tough. Gyoza and edamame were on point. Would recommend the salmon garlic butter onigiri, nicely seasoned. The tonkatsu curry lacked character, just okay.

Katsu Ramen is a really cool place to eat if you want the Japanese style Ramen. The food was very good and cheap from other Ramen shops and they even have a lunch combo where you order your Ramen plus it comes with dumplings and your choice of rice. The waiters were really nice and the food came out really fast.

    1. Food quality The food quality was great. I ordered shoyu, katsu don, gyoza, beef onigiri and salmon onigiri. Only the beef onigiri that i would rate 5 star. Please serve your food nicely. The gyoza was served upside down. Other people are very particular with food presentation. 2. Location Japanese restaurants are known to have a clean place. This place needs a bit of cleaning. I would understand that you may not have enough storage but Stock your supplies properly. Put them in big containers if needed to make it look neat. 3. Value of money- GREAT! SUPER WORTH IT. 4. SERVICE - GREAT except when they serve the gyoza upside down. I have reasons to give then 4 ⭐.

Excellent ramen. Excellent service. A little pricey. $18.65 for a lunch combo A neat idea I haven't seen before, buttons at your table to request service. Worked great!

Katsu ramen was recommended to me and I’m so glad we tried it. The onigiri was fresh and just melted in your mouth. Fried chicken was extra crispy and seasoned well. We also had the spicy tonkatsu and garlic tonkatsu. Chewy delicious noodles in spicy(not too spicy) rich broth. The atmosphere in this place was so cool lots of banners and low tables mixed In with bars. It was interesting to look around but we barely had a chance because service was so fast, really sweet employees. This place was packed and we were sat and fed right away. Good selection of sake. Check this place out for a slice of Japanese heaven.

11/29/22 I was surprised that their food has lots of flavor on it. Friendly staff. I like how they just dab the hot spice on the side of the bowl. Make it as spicy as you want. Chicken was tasty too. 5 star because this is one the place that I would come back. I’m happy when the food is good it makes every cents count specially during inflation.

What a great little ramen shop. The staff were super friendly, and everything felt authentic! I truly felt as if I had stepped into a ramen shop off the streets of Japan. The food was very good and the service was quick. I highly recommend stopping by to grab a bite to eat.

Friendly service! Was welcomed right away. They have buttons on the tables to call for your server for what’s needed. The ramen was a little salty but not that bad to there I won’t give it less stars, it was still great! Overall food was tremendous! 😋😋

Our friend took us here and we loved it! We are already planning what to get for the next time we come! There are so many yummy options. The gyudon bowl was delicious! I love the pickled ginger on top too! Adds a nice freshness to it! My boyfriend ate all of his tonkotsu ramen! All of it! It was delicious, and fairly cheap!

I am an avid fan of ramen. This was my first time to Katsu Ramen and I know every time that I'm in Denver I have to stop. The food was absolutely phenomenal. There are no words to describe how much I wanted to keep eating despite the fact my stomach was full. The staff was always busy but kind and respectful to all of their guests. The menu offers a variety of options to please anybody's taste buds. There's also a decent selection of drinks from soda to sake. To my surprise, there was even a small book collection of graphic novels in which you could indulge while enjoying your meal. I'm really glad that you had Inuyasha; have been itching to read it again! Hope that you obtain more soon! I cannot wait for my next trip to Denver so that I can enjoy something else on your menu. 🍜

Run don't walk to get this absolutely delicious ramen. Had the great fortune to find this little gem of a restaurant on a road trip. Nothing better on a cold night after 10 plus hours in the car than a piping hot bowl of delicious. All the choices were tempting but I highly recommend the flavor bomb that is the Black Garlic ramen. 10 out of 10 can't wait to eat it again. 😋🍜🙌🏾 Oh! And for the veggie eaters in your life there are some solid options as well so no one is left out.

Ever watched Food Wars? Yea, it’s kinda like that. Everything was so amazing! Spiced and seasoned to perfection! The environment was amazing. Our service was very fast and friendly. This place is also very reasonably priced too! Definitely recommend checking it out! Special shout out to the live tv broadcast from Japan.

Food was good, I ordered the chicken cutlets with Katsu curry. It was warm, could of been hotter, but it was good. I ordered the Dr pepper and it tasted flat but the server made it right and brought me something different. I like that all the servers help each other, great team work!

Delicious! Some of the best ramen I've had, even compared to some great restaurants in DC/NYC. The atmosphere is very food focused. This is more of a quick "get your fix" type of place. Quick seating, maybe near strangers at the bar, quick order taking, and quick food delivery.

This place always hits every mark for me. The takeout was well organized and clearly marked. The staff are very friendly and know what they are doing. The food is always on point and is very tasty. The black garlic ramen is so yummy and filling. Everyone loved their ramen and the Pork Gyoza.

Got us in quick! Fast service and food is so good! We got the vegetable and pork ramen. It was really tasty. They have a really good lunch special where you get ramen, dumplings and rice. It was all really good!

Don’t eat pork so I went with the Spicy Chicken Ramen in a veggie broth. Delicious, well portioned, and a nice spice. Service was fast and nice. Only negative is you can’t order double noodles, so I wish there was a large noodle portion. Overall, a great place. Looking forward to my next visit.

We came to this place seeing such good reviews. The service is amazing with a buzzer to call for service as needed. We enjoyed all our food except chicken katsu which was not as great compared to other dishes. The poke and ramen was super delicious. Overall, great place and would definitely come back again for other entrees.

Great spot! We really enjoyed the Shoyu Raman (add extra beef) & the spicy chicken add extra Chashu (pork belly) The gyoza are a most too! You also can’t leave without trying the bbq beef onigiri

Took the drive into Aurora. I’ve been wanting to try Katsu Ramen since my favorite ramen place closed a couple of years ago. They have a combo tonkotsu, gyoza, and katsudon. The tonkotsu was fairly solid but a bit salty for me. Roast pork and noodles were good though. Gyoza was a tiny bit burned but otherwise good. The katsudon was very good.

Katsu Ramen was everything I hoped it would be. The restaurant is a nice place. They have little remotes on the table that you can press a button and call a server for a specificity. I loved that. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen, Black Garlic Ramen and Vegetable Miso. They were all wonderful. The Salmon Onigiri was delicious!! Also, got the dumplings and they were delicious as well. This place deserves its own building with a huge parking lot. Parking is a bit of a hit or miss so come early. I would definitely eat here again.

First thing I noticed was there health and safety precautions. They being super careful which I appreciate. Limited seating, multiple temperature checks, sign in system. I would rather wait a little longer and feel comfortable eating. Now, with that being said, the food was delicious, rich and well composed. I got the black garlic tonkatsu ramen. It was decadently rich. They might have finished the broth with butter or something because, I felt like this was a Cadillac of a meal. My lady got the curry ramen which was also dope. Her broth was sweet and spicy and had different noods. We also got some sake and onigiris. Staff was polite and attentive. Good came out lickity split.
