This is a real gem: fast, cheap, and most importantly, absolutely delicious. Breakfast ends at 11, so make sure to get there on time to get an amazing breakfast burrito, or perhaps breakfast tacos. With the tacos, you can mix and match the meats but maybe you should just get bacon. Their bacon is some of the best I've had not cooked at home, and it was inside something else. Diners should aspire to the perfect combination of crisp and chewy their bacon is made to. Long story short: go here, your stomach will thank you.

Restaurant was pretty empty at lunch. Not a lot of food traffic which was a sign. I was not a fan of the food here. The green Chile is much different than all other places and had gelatinous texture and the flavor wasn’t special. The rice has a very strong smell to it that I didn’t like, couldn’t figure out the seasoning. I had the shredded beef burrito/taco combo, green Chile cheese fries, and coke for a $29 which I didn’t get my moneys worth. The shredded beef didn’t have flavor. The fries were soft and undercooked. The salsa was good, but the chips were stale. The other Mexican restaurants nearby provide better value and flavor. For $29 bucks, the food should a lot better

Had to go to the post office, and decided to check this little restaurant out. Glad I did, because their horchata is yummy & their smothered breakfast burrito was YUM!!! 🤤

Enjoyed my first stop here. Was greeted immediately and got a very friendly vibe. My work partner and I had the Denver Breakfast Burrito and so did he. Both enjoyed it. Service was great. Everyone was friendly and there was plenty of space to sit down. Had booths and an extra big room in the back for seating. Thank you guys, I will be back when I'm in the area. I appreciate the hospitality and smiles.

I've been eating Denver-Mex 43 years - all the old time places. Amigo's chorizo breakfast burritos are REALLY good. They are plump, the potatoes so tender and everything is mixed just right. Be sure to get some of their hot red salsa to pour into each bite. I just tried the carnitas street tacos. El Taco has nothing on Amigos there. I am looking forward to trying to more items. Don't believe the fake reviews of tough meat and bland flavor. Those posters crack on every place they review. It is mostly a take-out and breakfast joint so don't expect an atmosphere. Service is super fast and friendly.

Unfortunately there is nothing authentic about amigos. Powder horchata , stale chips, paste salsa and the prices are still Colorado high . No sides with tacos or many of their “specials” . Meat was tough . Just a sad experience. Tortillas aren’t even homemade or their chips . Not to mention the atmosphere is that of a failing strip mall

I just got the carne asada plate. Bland, overcooked, no seasoning, meat was tough. Rice tasted like it was cooked yesterday. Salsa and beans tasted canned, tortilla chips tasted store bought. Nothing authentic here whatsoever.

Small casual joint with great staff. We usually pop in to get breakfast burritos to go. This morning I tried their Chile Relleno skillet and it was soooooo good!

My family and I went to Amigos during our visit to Denver and the food here was great! I got the shredded beef chimichanga, crisp and hearty. I also got a Chile relleno on the side that was also full of flavor, cheesy. The meat from the asada street tacos was soft, the kids enjoyed it all. Highly recommend.

I should’ve looked at their menu before trying, but I’ll be quick with my review. There’s no Al Pastor on their menu. First red flag. Then the prices are way too high for the atmosphere and quality you’re getting. The table salsa is more mild than tomato juice. The Barbacoa is tasteless. Asada was OK. Carnitas was OK. Service was Ok. Nothing special, and certainly not worth the price.

Food is well seasoned. The salsa they have packs flavor, and the guacamole hits the spot. Nice quick little in and out spot for the price.

I’ve been going here for 20+ years. No longer live or work nearby but try to drop in when I can. Order the Denver breakfast burrito. You won’t be disappointed.

The breakfast burritos here are mushy. You can't tell where the eggs start and the potatoes end. The chili is mediocre with not a lot of flavor or spice. I've eaten here a few times and I have never been impressed with the food. The service is always quick and friendly.

Best service in a while from anywhere, all the staff are AWESOME. Best Mexican food outside of NM have had in years. Thank you all for the great service and wonderful spicy food!

This place has it all! Came in on lunch rush, had a table in the back ready immediately. Food came out hot and fresh in what seemed like 5 minutes. Highly recommend the Breakfast Burrito! Best $6 you'll spend.

My wife has had breakfast here and loved it. This was our first time eating dinner here. The tacos de adobada were amazing, lots of tender, flavorful pork. The Mexican hamburger steak was tender with lots of good green chile. The waiter was very friendly, and the restaurant was nice and clean. We will definitely be back to try more items.

The best value and quality I have found so far and I have been hunting for a while. Great prices and they are consistent. I normally get the breakfast burritos. The green chili is excellent even though I haven't had a cup of it I plan to. It comes in their burritos but I am a fan of green chili.

I ordered the enchiladas. They were soggy and you could tell not fresh. The flavor was okay but the soggy texture made it difficult to eat

Family run business with the owner in the kitchen. Fast service good food. Took less time to get the food then for me to make up my mind what I want to order.

This is the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in Denver! Tucked away family restaurant. Absolutely delicious and authentic. Get the Denver Burrito smothered in green chile, it’s sooooooo good.

This is not a MEXICAN restaurant. I have been here 3 times. Every time I order something different. Not a single plate is made with traditional spices or ingredients. EVERYTHING has been AMERICANIZED. Couldn’t be more disappointed.
