Out of this world. I really didn't know what to expect. My first time with Ethiopian food. And I'm glad I stopped in. I had the Lamb, bet that I couldn't tell you what I ate. Other then, it's worth telling all your friends and family about. The food, the atmosphere, the experience. It all truly comes together and expresses the culture. Good old fashioned mother's cooking.

It was okay. The food was cooked great and the injera was good but there was absolutely zero spice to it. If you don't like spicy food but like Ethiopian food you will like it. I was expecting it to be spicy like I've always had other Ethiopian food and it was not spicy at all. It seemed like they forgot to season it or something.

We both got food poisoning after eating lunch there on 08/06/2022. That is the only place and day that my friend and I ate together when he was visiting from out of state.

We got three different combination plates and it over fed 8 people. You eat with your hands. Our table’s favorite was the lentils. I’ve never tried Ethiopian food , so it was fun to try something different. Not everyone enjoyed it but I liked it.

We visited this restaurant for the first time about a few weeks ago. When we first walked in, it seemed we disturbed the cook/waitress who were eating at a table. No matter, we were thrilled they were eating their own food, so we didn’t mind that they were a bit slow in seating us. After we were seated, the waitress resumed eating with cook. We didn’t mind because they looked like they were enjoying their own food and it gave us an idea of what our food would look like. After a few hunger stares from us to them, the waitress took our order. We ordered one chicken dish, which sits on a spongy bread in a big pan with spicy delicious orange sauce. The chicken is so well done that it just falls off the bone. The dishes are meant to be shared. Also, you use your hands, no utensils needed. We finished mostly all of it and took home a bit. It’s definitely a place we’d try again!

Ordered a meal on my wifes birthday and food had mold, called to get order sorted but was met by poor customer service... If i were FDA I would shut them down ASAP... Take note of the spores... Update... 502am wife and 2 year old have been throwing up and have food poisoning.. have file complaints with OSHA and Health Inspection.

Honestly so so good! I have never tried Ethiopian food I was in the area and I stopped by to try something new. Was such a honor to try this amazing cuisine. The employees were all very welcoming. The cook or owner lady came out to suggest and recommend A dish. She did not disappoint!

We ate vegan there. Food was flavorful and the environment was clean and inviting. Very reasonably priced, 2 adults and 1 six year old shared a veggie platter. Not oily or salty, just right. Highly recommend.

The owner is very nice and the food is delicious. Parking is easy; there's a free lot. Getting this food as take-out is just as good as eating in the restaurant. I'd recommend this place for sure and we will definitely be back.

Ordered the meat combo plate for $18. The portion was comically small for each portion costing $4.5 per meat dish. So they basically charge $18 for a sample size of each of the meat dishes. The food was delicious but the portion received was smaller than advertised for $18. I am disappointed since the food was very good. The server had limited English so it was difficult to communicate our disappointment. I let her know the portion was too small and she did not do anything to address or provide compensation. I do not expect to return. Had to order two separate dishes to fill the appropriate first $18 dish. Beware of disrespectful and tiny portions that are not as advertised. I was served by a woman on Saturday Jan 6th at around 2-3pm.

Amazing food. Really friendly service. They took great care of us. Denver needs more authentic dining treasures like this place.

Popped in pretty late here, as it has a bar, and they were nice enough to still serve food. We got the veggie combo. Everything was tasty, especially liked the yemisir wat and the gomen wat. Service was fast even as late as we got there and everyone was very helpful and friendly.

The food and service has always been wonderful when dining in the restaurant. However, calling in to pickup an order is the worst. The communication over the phone ,(if you don’t speak their language) completely sucks! I have no kind words for what they call a salad; literally the whole salad can fit on a tablespoon. The bread is not put in a separate container, (as it should) so when you get ready to eat it, the bread have absorbed all the sauce. The food is good, but the presentation of the carry out orders need improvement.

This was an incredible experience! This place is family owned, and you can feel how much dedication was put in here. The grandmother is the chef and you can feel the homemade complex and magical flavors in each and every bite. We ordered vegetarian and meat combo, and we couldn’t have enough! Highly recommend!

A wonderful restaurant with authentic Ethiopian food. The staff is wonderful and very friendly and efficient. They are very helpful with the menu if you are not familiar with the food. They have a good selection of drinks and feature specialty drinks also. I highly recommend them.

I always order from them and they've been consistently good. I love their kuwana firfir, that's all I've been getting lately. I've tried a few other local Ethiopian restaurants and like them all, but this is my favorite.
