My body and mind begin to soften and my breath deepens as soon as I walk into or login to a Stillness Yoga and Meditation Center practice. This is a multi-generational, racially and gender diverse community guided by authenticity, intentional inclusion of all, and the overall wellbeing of self and others. Skilled and caring instructors teach with clear prompts and many variations so that each student can experience an individualized practice throughout every class. I never worry about the style or size of my clothes or feel embarrassed if I have trouble with a pose. There is no snobbery or judgement here, just authentic love and a joy in practicing together. Props are encouraged, sometimes a lot of them, to ensure accessibility and benefit from every practice. Practicing at Stillness Yoga and Meditation Center has benefitted me mentally and physically during the almost 2 years of me being a monthly member. The consistency of the gentle practices has helped me increase my mobility and strength while also building the foundation for greater sense of groundedness and belonging. Do not mistake me referencing these practices as gentle to mean they are simple. Stillness offers a range of class styles and times that encompass a spectrum of restorative and active practices to engage and challenge the mind, body, and spirit. Two years ago, I self-identified as too wound up to successfully meditate. Now, thanks to Stillness, in addition to my asana practice I have established daily meditation and breath practices and benefit from a beloved community to share in them with. The positive shift in how I move through the ups and downs of life has been noticed by close friends, family and coworkers, as well as acquaintances. I am noticing my increased internal strength and greater capacity to meet life with courage and compassion. These positive personal benefits spill into the lives of everyone I encounter. Stillness Yoga and Meditation Center Founder Stephanie Clement and her instructors are more than teachers. They are mentors, leaders, and friends. And, alongside the teaching staff, there is a loving community of students where all are welcome just as we are. It is wonderful to note we in the community often become great confidantes and friends. Stillness Yoga and Meditation Center holds a purposeful approach to overall wellbeing at its sacred core. I am grateful for its positive influence in my life and attribute tremendous personal growth to my consistent presence within this community.

I came to Stillness Yoga looking for a more formal exploration of the yoga practice than just practicing individual moves from my yoga book. I wanted to learn what my body could achieve after having lupus and connective tissue disease and going into remission 10 years ago. Although I'm only 63, I wake up every morning with a lot of stiffness and wanted to incorporate daily yoga for increased strength and flexibility as a permanent lifestyle change for the next stage of my life. Stephanie listened carefully and recommended what classes she thought would be most beneficial to me. The moves were gentle and challenging at the same time, and she kept a careful eye on the class to offer suggestions to modify where needed, "meeting the body where it is." I marveled at how pain free I was after each class! Not only am I enjoying the physical aspects of my practice, but the mind-body focus and incorporation of breathing awareness is an integral part of the experience which helps to calm the mind and ultimately leads to a better, healthier way of processing life and relationships around you. Conflict and dissatisfaction is reduced when you become aware that each person in your life experiences life through their own lens, and respect others' individual journeys. Yoga has given me an exciting new outlook on life, and a promise of feeling my best and having optimal health going forward. Stephanie is truly dedicated to each student's outcome, and it shows in what she brings to the mat in each session. Let Stillness Yoga change your life!

Prior to arriving at Stillness, I knew "Warped Speed and Crash"! Now, I know how to take care and listen to ME! Stephanie has created such an amazing group of instructors and opportunites for a variety of different yoga needs. We can do gentle-restorative yoga one night, flow another and yoga in the park on the weekend. Coupled with a true dedication to the "Tweens" here in town, she is pioneering not just a successful studio, but a giving, loving, balanced community as well!

Been going for 5 years and could not love this place more! Family yoga, meditation, gentle yoga, private Reiki, restorative yoga, healing circles, and so so so much more! Stephanie is a wonderful teacher and human being. You feel your mind and body returning to stillness as soon you walk in.

I had an amazing experience at Stillness Yoga. I attended a meditation class on Thursday night. Location was easy to find and close by, very clean and calm. The meditation instructor (Stephanie) was extremely knowledgeable. It was very easy to relax while the meditation instructor guided us through basic breathing control sequences. I left feeling extremely relaxed and was very grateful for the experience. I look forward to going back. I would recommend this to anyone!

A charming and cozy studio. Stephanie, the owner, puts a great deal of thought and care into both the studio and planning activities for her community. They're currently offering both online and small, in person classes - great for people with a busy schedule or who want to go to a class without worrying about Covid.

Stillness Yoga is a real yogic yoga studio. Yoga as it was meant to be— bringing mind, body and spirit in alignment. I have challenges of orthopedic injuries and I was guided how to make adjustments so that I could be with the class. My balance and sense of well-being has been enhanced thru the classes at the studio. It’s friendly, welcoming and has the highest intention to bring participants to a peaceful centered place in their bodies and in their lives. I highly recommend it. All levels of classes to meet the needs of students too.

I'm so happy I found the Stillness Yoga & Meditation Center. In addition to Yoga, they offer a variety of classes including sound bath meditation and Reiki. The space is warm and inviting. Stephanie is an amazing Reiki practitioner. I will be returning.
