We needed to find a place to stay since there was some issues with our original booking at another place. This place came up and when we got to the room we were very disappointed. The room was overpriced and there were a lot of people in the hall smoking and making lots of noise through out all the night, it was extremely hard to get any sleep. We ended up leaving early due to the unpleasant environment. Needless to say we will not be coming back.

If you are white or Latino I do not recommend the hotel. The rooms are remodeled and clean but very small for the two beds they occupy. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Cleaning service is good, the corridors had a good appearance but the customer service It's scary they are very rude. My children and I stayed Friday night on Saturday we were shopping all day and when we returned we received a complaint that if we didn't stop the mess they would kick us out of the hotel at 10pm and without refund. As if it were an option to sleep in our car. We are a couple with two children aged 4 and 6, one of them with special needs. We had never received a complaint and we were surprised by the attitude of the front desk manager pointing her finger at us and saying to the downstairs guest that we were the mess makers when we just got to the room giving that person our room number. I take a negative attitude, I understand that he should have offered a room on the first floor or moved the person who did not like to hear the strong footsteps of my 6-year-old son. We feel insecure and they treated us disrespectfully and with a racist attitude. We have stayed weekly in several places and we have never had problem like this. we will not return to this place

Well that was quite the experience! First time a hotel has ever "run out of pillows". That's not a euphanism. After checking in, I called the desk and told them the room was missing pillows and towels. They said they would send some up and two hours later I went down to ask about it. The woman at the desk let me know that they don't have any more pillows because they didn't have the key to the laundry closet! So it looks like sleeping with an extra wadded up blacket will have to do 😁👌 I wasn't the most frustrated patron of this motel 6 tonight though... The gentleman in front of me had the gall to ask for a room key to his room that he paid for. They must keep the keys in the same locked closet because the staff told him he was out of luck and they could let him in his room whenever he needed. Yes you read that right... They didn't have enough room key cards for all the guests. (You literally can't make this up) That was unique experience. The smells were not unique however, just common cigarette smoke, weed coming from the supply closet and a hint of raw sewage. The hallways look like they've been vacuumed once in the last 3 months. Not the room though. Wet Sticky stains on the counters and dead smeared insects on the floors. If you walk on any surface in the building without shoes you will almost certainly get some sort of fungus or disease I promise. I'm lucky I brought my sandals. On the plus side... The water from the tap changes colors sometimes though! I do wish they picked other colors than green and brown. Do not stay here. Do not bring your kids here if you value their health and safety. I think this motel 6 franchise should be shut down, and it might not hurt to condemn the building either at this point. Disgusting 🤢 If I thought we would be safe sleeping on a public bench I would take that option and save a couple hundred bucks.

Literally the worst hotel I have EVER stayed at. Super ghetto. On the plus side at least you get a good high walking through the halls. Also the chair that I used to prop the door shut was very sturdy. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE. I hope the place gets shut down for everybody’s safety.

Checked into Motel 6 near Fort Lauderdale airport for a quick night's rest before a meeting. While the staff was genuinely friendly, the room left much to be desired. Despite being informed of a recent flood, I didn't expect to find standing water in the bathtub, hair on shower walls, toilet seat, dresser and even in the towels. The floors were also very dirty. To top it off, I woke up to find the bed sheets, that is already slept in, were dirty and it looked like there was an actual footprint of dirt at the bottom. A fire alarm and a 3 AM call added to the chaos. It would've been appreciated to have some notification before purchasing the night's stay about the flood and the many inoperational amenities. Surprisingly, they weren't even able to give guests keys to their rooms. I was told all keys were in a safe and wouldn't be given out without a supervisor on site, which struck me as odd. While I had a recent pleasant experience at a Motel 6 in Amarillo, Texas, this one in Fort Lauderdale was a letdown. Friendly staff, but I won't be returning or recommending.

I wasn't sure what to expect knowing the area the way it is but when I got to my room, I was amazed! Very impressive!!! Everything is new and clean! I even extended my stay longer. The staff was very nice as well! You can't go wrong unless you're looking for 5-star services such as bellman, 5 restaurants, car valet, a gym, a business center, etc. It does have a clean laundromat, too! I will definitely stay again!

We needed a place to stay before our cruise. Being that it was only going to be one night and maybe about 6 to 7 hours, I went cheap and definitely got what we paid for. The room for the most part was pretty clean, but the desk had a ton of tiny little spiders all over it. The walls are paper thin and we were close to a door that led to the pools and the door was open and shut all night. It was extremely loud. Definitely just pay the extra money and find somewhere else to stay.

This hotel is overpriced. It is visually awful both inside and out. The rooms are like stripped down dorm rooms. Checking in is like going to a high security flop house. It was under renovation but I don't think that will help this property. It has not frills....no vending machines, no pool, no shuttle, no restaurant, nothing. Don't stay here. It is overpriced and has hard beds. It is close to the airport but that is it's only saving grace.

Great price for a clean, basic, comfortable place to shower and rest your head. We had to evacuate during Hurricane Ian and the staff here was so kind and compassionate and helpful. My only negative comment is the marble shower walls are lovely, but quite slick, so be careful. Overall, if you're looking for a clean and comfortable place to sleep and shower, this is the place to go!

This place is fine if you really don't mind feeling not safe. The lady at the front desk was nice, but while the rooms (which are pretty basic) appeared clean, it reeked of weed the whole night. We also had a suspicious lady that was sitting in a corner by our room for over an hour. Some hallways smelled like pee, the additions to the room were very small (only one bar of soap, nothing else), and a spotlight pointed at our window. Again, it's fine if you really don't care about stuff like that, but we'd definitely spend a little more to feel safe.

I understand this is a less expensive place to stay, but this was cheap and gross even with the remodel. My sheets and towels both had hairs all on and in them. I spent at least an hour removing all the hairs. I knew if I asked for new clean sheets and towels I would get the same thing. They were cleaned because I could smell that, but just hairs all over. On top of that, the fridge was gross. I had to thaw out the fridge and clean it because the gross stuff was frozen in the ice sheet at the bottom of the freezer. After that, I got ice from the machine. It was dirty and had brown pieces of stuff in it. I didn't notice until after I had already drank the drink I put the ice in. I immediately threw up my drink once I saw the disgusting state of the ice in the bucket. Those were the most disgusting parts of my stay. The floor was dirty also, but it wasn't as big of a deal because I brought slippers. The bed was very uncomfortable since the mattress is probably from 2000. It's a spring mattress that sinks in and absolutely needs to be replaced. I already mentioned the sheets and towels having hair, but also the quality of them was horrible. I felt like I was sleeping on sandpaper and cleaning with about the same grit. Honestly, the sheets were like 50 count. I've never felt sheets so rough. After this visit, I have to say, I will never be staying at a Motel 6 ever again. It was not worth saving around $30/day compared to other places in the area. Never again!

Very picky when staying at hotels. I usually stay at high end hotels but we needed a place to take our pets during the storm. I am very impressed with the staff and motel . Honestly very pleased super Clean rooms 👌. I may opt for other motel 6's in the future if they are like this . Great job 👏

Early flight out with littles… checked in late, the ladies at the front desk went over and above for us. Check in fast and easy. Room very clean if we come back will definitely stay again.

During my stay in fort Lauderdale, I stayed at 2 boutique hotels that seemed very posh before coming to the Motel 6. I had to leave those hotels because they were filthy despite the high price that I paid. Then came to the motel 6 for its low price and was pleased was the room. Very clean and spacious. Of course. The rooms have minor cosmetic flaws and nothing extravagant however, I was comfortable and would definitely return.

Let me preface with the service was great. Check-in and check-out was very friendly and seamless. The hotel and rooms however… 1. The stairways and some hallways smelled like dog piss 2. The hotel room laminate floors were sticky - maybe not throughly cleaned? 3. There was only 1 pillow in the room. I’ve never see this in my life. Front desk was kind enough to give me another pillow, but I shouldn’t have had to ask in the first place. 4. The TV reception did not work. I called the front desk and they said it might be the clouds or the satellite not working. Well, it still didn’t work the next morning - and it was a bright sunny day - no clouds in sight. 5. The A/C smelt like fungus and body odor. Please clean the A/C filters!! Was also very loud. 6. Hotel key lost its access only after a few hours I hope these issues gets addressed for the sake of future guests. Future guests, please beware of this motels issues. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Motel 6 corporate, please do your checks and balances on this hotel. You’re putting out a bad product and tarnishing your name with the quality this location upholds. - or lack thereof.

Inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Nice location to grab something to eat nearby and a lil bowling alley close by. The customer service was great specially Marlo. She was very informative, attentive, and very polite. I enjoyed my stay.

Stayed here a week ago. Upon check in I was informed that the key card system was down so staff had to let me in my room. The lady who checked me in was very friendly and even offered her own personal drinks when the vending machine wouldn't work. I appreciated the offer but declined as it was not her fault in any way. Safety and ease of access: When the key card system is down, the problem is that means you can't come and go as you please as every time you have to wait for staff to let you in your room. Cleanliness: After traveling for over 8 hours I went to shower and the shower was filthy. There was hair all over the tub and stuck to the wall. When I hung my clothes up in the entry way clothes shelf, I noticed used tissues on the shelf. Not sure my room had been cleaned.

The staff at this Motel 6 is highly professional and the experience here is different from other establishments of the same brand. The local area offers convenient access to various stores and it is just 30 minutes away from Miami. If you are planning a short visit to town, I strongly recommend this motel without hesitation. This motel in Florida is affordable, cool, and has been my accommodation for my entire stay. Vee, the staff member, is very nice and professional. I highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay in Fort Lauderdale.

I have stayed at this location on several occasions and every time the staff have been excellent. There has always been someone to provide assistance and wonderful service. The management has provided assistance and great customer service with every stay. The room is always clean with appropriate amenities. I love going to sit out at the pool area that is beautiful and relaxing. I would recommend to anyone!

My wife & I stayed at this location based on the pictures we have seen online and it actually exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and up to date. Front desk was available at all times during our stay. Extremely pleasant. I would recommend this place.

From day one my experience at this establishment considering my current circumstances.. was pleasantly peaceful & relaxing the two ladies Miss Nicole very awesome, Miss Vee awesome, the night guy Victor awesome dude as well .. two thumbs up to those three they deserve a raise... Everyone is very friendly kind respectful professional always going that extra effort to make you feel like ur right at home. Making sure we had everything we needed Rooms are great very impressive with the upgrades they made after the flood they experience... There might have been a lot of in and out but it's a hotel/motel🙂 but I never got bothered or heard anything.. I would definitely recommend this to friends family strangers especially ones with pets and that are in need... Plus everything was just a 5minute car ride away shopping centers restaurants entertainment. Freeways.. so I would say come on come on.. thanks for everything

Since the remodel of this establishment, I’ve stayed here prior and also after it was complete and I am beyond satisfied with the changes. I had a minor issue with my room and Ms.Nicole was more than helpful in assuring that my issue was taken care of. I really felt like her staff was concerned about the well-beings of their guests. I had the pleasure of also having Ms.Vee (overnight) assist me in checking me in. I take honor and appreciate great business so it’s a must that I stop to leave this review because it was showed from the moment I checked in all the way until the second I decided to leave. It’s normal for us to make mistakes and come across errors when dealing with different people but I feel as though Ms.Nicole has mastered the art of resolving issues & making her guests feel comfortable. Her staff reflects her hospitality when she’s present or not. shout out to Ashley for transferring that beautiful smile to me as I entered the lobby .. it’s quite contagious 🥰 Thank you all wholeheartedly for everything. Ok i was having a prety bad day until i meet Nicole at the front desk😃💥. She was very kind n helpful and we connected on a human level just having small talk about life. Its expensive!!!! But i must say its the best Motel6 in Florida that ive experienced!!! I slept with one eye open and ALL THE LITES ON AND MY GUNS WHEN I WAS IN TALLAHASEE!!!!🤨. It only proves how some owners care and some DONT GIVE A SH-T🤬, cockroaches and fools knocking on my door every HOUR !!! Ok but this place is GREAT !!! They came in qwikly to fix my tv issue n we laffed. I even changed rooms with a smile on my face bcuz these guys are AWESOME. Thanx again Nicole🙏😃. 5 STARS

Unbelievably terrible! Imagine the nerve: I bought two rooms, but when I showed up at 11 PM, they had overbooked and left me stranded with nowhere to stay. The worst part? They had the gall to claim I hadn't paid for my rooms. And it turns out, this wasn't just my unlucky night—it happened to several families that same evening.

I Had a Amazing Stay Here . The General Manager Nicole & Assistant Manger Keith Was Very Nice To Me & My Family. The Room Was Nice & Clean. The Hotel Was Very Peaceful & I Felt Safe. The customer service given by Alexis was excellent. She went above and beyond to help us. She has an amazing spirit its not everyday you meet people in this industry who have the attitude and willingness to help like she does. Even the security guard went out of her way to hold the door for us so we could get our belongings together. Its a shame more people aren't like this. This motels customer service is AMAZING!!!

Place is work in progress but room was very clean and building looks secure. Even tho there are truck parking spots semis are not allowed because of complains from the neighbours about engine noise. Li’l Reds is right next door whit great food and gas station has beer, but only takes cash. Overall, good place to stay for a night or a weekend whit decent room prices.

First of all their internet was down so we had to pay cash and no wifi. Then we found gum stuck all over floor. I had to scrape it up. Then after we returned from dinner we were met in the parking lot and told we couldn't unhooked our trailer from the truck or we had to move it. After discussing how after truckers pass confirmed truck parking was allowed for my hot shot trailer. The general manager decided we could continue to stay only if we hooked back up over night because the weight of the empty trailer. Now just to clarify the trailer weight is much less than the truck. As we were leaving over an hour before checkout time my husband was taking out stuff to the truck housekeeping tried to walk into our room had I not been in the room what would she have done???? She did not knock or announce housekeeping until I grabbed the door seeing who it was. This was the worst motel 6 ever. When we booked the room we were told there was a refrigerator and microwave, there was not. Only 1 chair no table either. Like I said worst motel ever. I doubt we will ever stay in a motel 6 again.

The people here Vee, and Nicole. Were most helpful. They helped us with affordable rates. For 5 days. Have helped with the information needed to get thru this stressful time. This vacation trip went sideways. Without the support of these women and the empathy for our situation my partner and I would have been completely on our own in Florida, with absolutely nothing but the clothes on our backs.

Nicole made our stay here very relaxing and comfortable. She is very professional, personable and amazing at her position at Motel 6! Her warm disposition is what made us stay even longer instead of trying out a new hotel. Supreme customer service is hard to find nowadays, so look no further...Give this hotel a shot. The rooms are brand new since it was just remodeled, too! Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience! Started with Vee at 2am she totally made my horrific night a pleasure. Come to checkout we needed my elderly father to stay a couple more days! Nikki (super friendly) guided us to Nicole the manager who was super sweet! The friendly staff is what makes the lights stay on! Sorry I had too! Thank you to the amazing staff at MOTEL 6 FORT LAUDERDALE!

Vee the front desk receptionist is wonderfully she always has cheerful and beautiful smile on here face. Very welcoming it been pleasure seeing here face in morning when I come get my coffee she deserves raise and promotion to management.

This was a great little motel. The only drawbacks are that most rooms (including ours) do not have a microwave or refrigerator. Besides this, you can tell the motel is very new, and solidly built. The rooms are comfy, although small, but the decor and design is really appealing.

Marsha provided excellent customer service! We hand a problem with our booking reservation she provided a solution and resolved our issue right away She was warm & friendly. Marsha was perfect she deserves 5 stars for her great service.

Very clean rooms. Excellent service. Coffee station in the morning but no donuts. Soda & chips machine. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Location is OK but it's close to the Cruise ports which is what I liked.

EXCELLENT HOTEL, clean, friendly and responsive staff. Be aware, they offer no breakfast shampoo or conditioner. The hotel is very clean. It is one of the cleanest hotels I have seen. There is no carpet in the rooms which means there's no embedded dirt that you're walking on with your bare feet. I liked that. The service was excellent. The front desk staff was very attentive and helpfu. I did not mind that they didn't offer breakfast or shampoo/conditioner, This hotel is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever seen and I would gladly take cleanliness over the extra amenities offered by many of the more expensive hotels. One more good point, there are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance.

The rooms were clean-ish. Bedding was clean, so were the towels. Floors looked like someone brought in mud on their shoes, and then used a mop to spread it all around the floor. It's an older motel, slightly remodeled, so don't expect anything fancy. Pool was closed. No toiletries, only soap was provided, we actually had a bar that was left in the tub by the previous visitor. Lots of garbage all over the parking lot. Ever-present stench of weed. At least the beds were comfortable. Too small of a room to have 2 full beds in it.

So me and my wife we’re on vacation. I lost my debit card. Someone stole $4000 out of my account which left us no money. We had to sleep on the streets one night and told someone could send us some money to stay at a hotel. We found the motel 6 where we’re at now got a room got some sleep woke up the next day. Talk to the front desk vee and Nicole and told them our horrific story. They with no hesitation wanted to help. They set us up to stay here for 5 days until our flight left to go back home. This is the best hotel and staff to stay with.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely 👏 ❤️💯 the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was clean and spacious, comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay
