We stayed at the Hollywood Beach Marriott as part of a large group for the Miami Dolphins Fan Club Weekend earlier this month. Last year I was disappointed with a nearby Marriott, so was hoping for good things. They more than delivered. The front desk staff was courteous, professional and fun. They honored our request for adjoining rooms and housekeeping eventually brought my feather free pillows (had to ask a few times, but otherwise stay was flawless). Welcome drinks and snacks a plus. They now offer bike rentals and beach lounges as part of your stay. Rooms were clean and this is the only hotel I've stayed in since COVID offering daily housekeeping! It was luxury I didn't know I'd missed. Beds comfortable, hotel quiet, beautiful views from the balcony. Pool, hot tub and pool deck were wonderful. Ordered take out one night from the bar...was ready in about 20 minutes, they made sure we had everything needed to dine in the room and it was the best meal we had on the strip! Convenient self-park on premises. Can’t wait to go back.

We had a great 3 night stay! The hotel staff were all incredibly nice, the champagne at the front desk was a nice touch along with welcome drinks, pool side smoothies, daily beach chairs and we loved the option of taking the bikes out for a ride. The hotel and rooms were clean and the "partial ocean view" was better than expected! Certainly felt a lot better than partial. We tried out a number of restaurants along the beach during our stay, but the food at Latitudes right at the hotel was the best along with a couple happy visits over to Margaritaville. Other places we tried right on the beach side didn't compare to those two. This was more than I would typically pay for a hotel, but we were celebrating a special event and can say that I feel what we got was well worth what we paid. I didn't see any hotel in our area that appeared to offer everything that the Marriott did. Overall very happy with our stay!

It was the perfect location, the view was stunning, but I had several issues. Mainly, the parking garage was a long walk for someone disabled. The front desk was chaotic. The entire floor we were on smelled like sewage. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The facilities were clean. The resort restaurant had a beautiful indoor outdoor ocean view, but the food was awful. We ordered the steak which was overpriced and tough as shoe leather. It came with mashed potatoes and truffle butter. It was way too rich. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Half the dishes at the buffet were cold and the sausage was undercooked. Just a bit disappointed given how expensive it was. We left and went to the Hard Rock. If i' am going to pay luxury prices, I want way more than what the Marriott had to offer.

I stayed here for my 21st birthday and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff were lovely and ensured we had everything we needed. Our room had a partial ocean view which we could see from the bed and it was gorgeous. Beds were comfortable. The hotel includes snacks, champagne, and water throughout the day. There is plenty to do around the area and the hotel is right on the beach and boardwalk. You can go outside and sit on the beach or walk around. If you get up early you can view the sunrise on the beach which is absolutely stunning. Also the restaurant Latitudes has lots of outdoor seating options so you can enjoy meals while looking at the ocean. The Latitudes staff were also amazing. The only issue was that the toilet was slightly leaking water around it. Overall I'd highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely amazing experience. There staff went above and beyond to insure we had the best time on our vacation. They even upgraded our room which was very amazing. And don’t even get me started on how amazingly priced everything is. After 6 times staying there can assure you this is the best hotel on the boardwalk by a long shot!

We stayed here 10.3.2023. A birthday celebration getaway! This hotel is one of the best places I have stayed- in all of Florida. First class all the way. Easy Parking, modern look with an incredible view of the Ocean. Free Champagne, snacks and bottled water. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere! Walking distance to some great restaurants. I can't wait to return!

This a a beautiful hotel with a great location on Hollywood Beach All the restaurant servers are AMAZING and Food is delicious. The pool area is SUPER CLEAN and the pool is HEATED Easy on easy off the boardwalk I stay here 2 times a year and they always make you feel like FAMILY

Pros: Great location. Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Complimentary bikes to cruise the boardwalk. Rooms are clean enough. Wouldn’t write home about the “complimentary” breakfast… you actually pay for it.. Cons: Rooms need attention. Our sink was clogged and toilet didn’t flush properly. They sent maintenance in a timely manner but the toilet issue was not resolved during the duration of our stay. It ran and ran and it wasn’t a simple tank issue. Very annoying. Also, the air conditioning unit is so loud that it jolts you awake at night. This hotel isn’t cheap so I want my room to be close to perfect. I’d give 3 1/2 stars but I can’t so I give four stars for location and professionalism of staff. The room…. I expect more for the price.

Enjoyed our 5 day stay here. Beachfront access right out the door. Great dining within a mile each direction up and down the beach. Rooms are clean and well kept. Pool and hot tub located outside, also clean and tidy. Would stay here again.

Great beachfront location, clean & well-maintained. Great mask compliance, good distancing. Glass of champagne @ check-in, Only as much housekeeping as you want ("just vac the sand & replace wet towels"), & only when you want it. Nice pool, steps away from full bar. Adjacent restaurant with variety for fussy or adventurous eaters, attentive & fast service. Ingredients in other dishes (avocado, sauteed onions) are gladly added, & "no xyz, ok?"=freshly prepared, not scraped off. Bicycles to borrow, Work- out room (shunned). H2O free @ front desk, bar/restaurant charges your room. Covid= no room service; didn't notice anything else missing

I am a Titanium member and was pleasantly surprised with almost everything about this location. we were offered a complimentary oceanfront balcony room with great views. We got there to check in early at 2pm and the room was not ready. Jorge at the front desk called and had the room expedited and we received our keys at 220pm. The location is everything about this location. You can sit poolside and see the beach right across the boardwalk. We sat at the pool/beach bar Latitudes a lot just enjoying the ocean breeze and Maria the bartender was amazing. The only drawback of this resort is the pool is small and has limited seating. If you want to get a chair you need to be there by 830 am and they do not allow you to save seats. We walked the boardwalk every night and had dinner oceanfront at one of the restaurants and watched live music by Margarittaville. All in all will definitely return.

The staff were all very helpful. The bar staff service was exceptional. We ate at all three meal times and appetizers and all were extremely well sized and prepared. The cuban sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. The restaurant was busy from breakfast until closing at night and service was pretty quick and pleasant despite the long hours people appeared to work.

A beautiful and perfect place for a beach wedding! We were organizing a wedding from another state, but it really felt like I was there when we arranged it. Full professionalism, kindness, communication, food, people... we felt well cared. Thank you so much Hollywood Beach Marriott!

Great experience. The front desk staff was amazing- Jorge was welcoming from the moment we walked in and throughout the entire stay. This hotel has excellent customer service and the employees really make a difference here. This hotel is on the beach boardwalk, with a pool and outdoor restaurant Latitudes- the views of the ocean are beautiful. The restaurant staff was attentive and everyone we came across at the hotel was helpful and this hotel was well managed. The resort fee includes two free drinks at the restaurant, two beach chairs, two hour free bike rentals and a couple other perks. On the beach right behind the hotel there is a place that you can rent jet skis. This is a great gem in Hollywood.

Arrived in the afternoon (2/15/24), room was ready, clean and bright. We had a great evening on the boardwalk, dinner at Latitude's, walked the beach, had a nice time. This morning had a great run along the boardwalk, showered and enjoyed a lovely breakfast with a fantastic waitress. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for a beautiful sunrise. This hotel is in the right place for you to see the most beautiful sunrise. Great customer service. The bed was so comfortable. We also received a complimentary breakfast for being Elite customers.

Its right on the beach. Nice rooms, clean, comfy and spacey.

I liked the overall location- it was easy to find and a lot of available parking. The elevator from the parking garage to the hotel lobby was broken, unfortunately. I also didn’t care for both of our rooms to be located on separate floors. Overall the experience was a good one, though. The pool was clean and the coffee bar in the lobby was decent.

This place is nice if you get a nice room. Overlooking the ocean in the morning and at night is a beautiful place to enjoy and relax. Grab you something to eat at there over priced. Restaurant, but it is what it is, it's Miami. Florida is very good, stopping and enjoy rent you a bicycle. Just have fun but make sure your room is not outdated and not falling apart.....

Shocked this is an Opal owned property. It should probably either be torn down and rebuilt, or a full gut job. Obviously need staff desperately. No Valet parking. Staff at check in were robotic. Lobby is like that of a motor lodge. To go to the pool you walk through the restaurant. Parking garage is a bit of a walk. Pool area didn't look very clean. Needs new paint everywhere. Room was decent and clean but they said queen beds and i swear they were full. Nice that they gave champagne and snacks at check in. Would not stay again.

Great location and great service! Loved the champagne welcome. The room I stayed in, however, lacked. Was not very clean, broken balcony chair, balcony rail unstable and tv connection didn’t work well.

While here for business, hotel was overall very nice. A bit older but very comfortable. They offer free snacks, water and champagne during day. Restaurant was nice as well. Staff helped get a room early for me. Ocean view was lovely too. Issues were location. If you plan on just staying at hotel you will be fine but if you do not have a car, this boardwalk was just full of cheap shops selling expensive souvenirs and restaurants playing very very loud music. Not relaxing at all and full of shady characters that looked like they were either going to rob you or who knows what else. Not safe to walk at night. Also, in the hotel, they have those very tiny ghost ants that were all on counter and my belongings. Not a lot but I do not like seeing even one. I am sure they are in luggage now so will have to deal with that. Overall, if you are just staying at hotel, nice place but unless you have a car, which I did not, would not come back.

Great rooms, great location, service is great. Will definitely be back on our next trip here. Service is great too. Parking will be in their parking garage unless you have an oversized vehicle or high value vehicle.

Just back from a long weekend. The staff at the hotel was so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean. The entires property was spotless. Afternoon champagne and snacks were a wonderful surprise. The breakfast at Latitudes was delicious and the waitstaff and bartenders were fabulous. I highly recommended this hotel not only for its location but also for the wonderful people who work there. Thank you for a great weekend getaway.

The location was great. Parking is not good. The room was small and out dated. My $100 breakfast room service order was ice cold. The pool is way to small and people should not be allow to hold chairs for hours without using them. There were people getting served food and drinks while standing in the pool. So there were empty cups and pieces of food in the pool. Gross!!! The pool bathroom was absolutely disgusting. We will visit the beach again but we will stay somewhere else.

Large beautiful ball room that can be divided in to two separate rooms. They will cater meeting. They had a very attentive staff during the conference I attended. The hotel is right on the beach with an airy bar beach side. Very lovely location

Came here for 5 nights vacation to escape Hurricane Ian. Loved everything about it, especially that it was only 4 minutes from my room to the beach and or boardwalk, and less time to get to the restaurant or out the front door. The breakfast buffet was excellent, so very much to choose from. All furniture in the room was cool, contemporary, had purpose - storage, giving us more space than I expected. I would like to give a shout out to Sharon at the front desk. We evacuated Ft Myers and after a hectic drive to your hotel, she was pleasant, made the check in process quick and easy, she explained how the hotel was set up, where the pool was, towels/chairs, restaurants, bar, but also on the Hollywood Boardwalk, the area, shopping, sightseeing. It was her entire check-in process for changing this hotel stay into a vacation, rather than "our evacuation plan". Five stars for her - Sharon!

Check in was a breeze! Heaven at the front desk was so friendly. You have a variety of food for the breakfast buffet, restaurant itself doesn’t disappoint either. Having the pool and the beach right there was amazing. All hotel staff (Mauricio, housekeeping and the guys outside setting up the chairs with umbrellas included) made us feel so welcomed. But Ms. Leah! She was the cherry on top! She was phenomenal. Her personality & the customer service she provided was everything! Thank you for the awesome memories Marriot Hotel. Can’t wait for our next stay here!

We had a great stay at the Hollywood beach marriott a few weeks ago. This property has an incredible location on the beach/boardwalk. The front desk and service staff are all super friendly and helpful. We had breakfast, lunch and apps at the hotel. Everything was very good. We will return soon!

Different treatment, Standard vs Award Stay. I was excited to stay here and from the moment I checked in. It was just not welcoming . As an Ambassador with Marriott I expect a standard of service that should be customary for everyone. This was not the case here. And the room type was not honoured and charges by hotel had issues. I am currently staying here and will update the review depending on how the stay goes. Front desk staff at check-in was not nice but after shift change were excellent courteous , kind and perfect for the face of the hotel. A lady in particular was from Trinidad. She was very very nice and helpful. Coffee shop - Ask for Debbie she is very nice , she makes you feel welcomed and takes care of your daily coffee and champagne needs. Housekeeping staff were nice and helpful , above standard and they speak to you asked you if you need anything before you even ask them for anything. Terrible Restaurant Service, go somewhere else if not for the food then for the service. The restaurant staff is the worse dining experience so far in Hollywood. Everyone was rude. Went to Latitudes restaurant for breakfast and the staff was very rude. Don't expect any good service from them. The manager called and said my concerns were noted , said he would send a bottle of champagne for my inconvenience. Haven't heard from him since . The pros , good location on the beach. But if you spend your money you expect service of a descent standard , that should be the basic service everyone should expect. I believe Hilton had a higher level of customer satisfaction.

Great clean room, very accommodating. Location is perfect for visiting the area. Broadwalk directly in front of the hotel, very entertaining and easy access to bars and restaurants

Our first visit to Florida and the Hollywood Beach Marriott did not disappoint! Beachfront property with Restaurant/Bar on site! The food was delicious and the drinks cold! Everyday they had a FREE Champagne Happy Hour with snacks! The room was very clean with a beautiful view! Free beach cruisers to use and we were given beach chairs and towels everyday! We will definitely be back!

I can't say enough about the staff and the outstanding service. They're amazing! So patient with people, always have a smile on their faces and a friendly hello no matter how busy they are. The hotel is clean, modern, and cozy. The rooms are perfect especially those partial views of the ocean. The restaurant has great food all day long. It's a little pricy but with that view, I'll pay it! This will always be my go to hotel in Hollywood! Thank you for making my vacation the best. I miss you already!

Our room was clean. The staff was amazing. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast and lunch. The free bikes and afternoon champagne was a nice perk. The pool didn’t have enough lounge chairs. The only day we had one was the day we went to the pool at 8am. The pool bathroom was extremely filthy. The hot tub was ice cold and the slushy machine was broken.

The service and staff was very good. All professional. However, our room was terrible. Do not stay in room 401. You cannot enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean. Latitudes restaurants below has a very loud fan blowing constantly right under the balcony. Makes it impossible to sit on the deck and enjoy. We lost 5 suite night upgrade for a room that was useless. Who knows how many other rooms are affected. Definitely not worth the upgrade or cost for Ocean view. Very disappointed Otherwise, food was good staff was excellent.

This is our second time to this Marriott. It never disappoints. We were celebrating our anniversary. The hotel is very clean and all members of the staff from the housekeepers to the bike staff were absolutely terrific. The staff always had a smile on their faces and the pool attendants were fantastic. The breakfast buffet was super along with all of the amenities that were offered: champagne, snacks, bikes Can't go wrong with this destination!!!

Excellent front desk staff & we were so impressed with the welcome glasses of bubbly & free afternoon snacks- really so generous. Great drink menu and welcome cocktails with our resort fee. What’s not to love? Room 806. Loved our Labor Day weekend stay!

Great little hotel in Hollywood Florida. Right on the beach, rooms are nicely done but the shower could use some work. We had a massive glob of brown something where the wall and shower door meet, on the outside of the shower. It was a bit nasty. Food was really good and very reasonably priced. Reception served sparkling wine and snacks around 4:30 to 5:30 each day which was a nice touch. Only downside was having to ask to have the room made up. Right now every hotel uses the excuse it's because of COVID and being short staffed, but I sense daily cleaning could be a thing of the past. This is a shame too because when I pay to stay somewhere for a holiday, it's nice to feel a bit pampered since you work hard all year long to take a holiday and relax. Making my bed, wiping down my bathroom, gathering garbage to set outside in the hallway doesn't exactly scream holiday. But this is not just a Marriott thing, it's at every hotel we stayed at this holiday. We would stay there again for sure and hopefully as COVID restrictions lift things will get back to normal.
