The service was good. We were seated quickly, in an outdoor space which was very nice. The inside of the restaurant was beautifully and uniquely decorated, lots of fun. The server was kind and the food was very tasty. We were just passing through but I would definitely stop again if we were passing through on another day.

I was not pleased with how I was treated when I let them know my order was not accurate, a simple error on their part of leaving off a few items (shrimp, broccoli, cheese) turned into me feeling like I was being treated like a liar. It was late when we got our food, so I waited till the next morning to call, everything was ok over the phone. The lady on the phone even attempted to replace the entire order, and I said no I only need the one that was in error. When I arrived to pick up the replacement order I was grilled by the manager and treated like a liar, I ended up having to pay again (discounted a little) and threw both the old and new plates away after the encounter. I have been going here weekly for the past few years… I’m very disappointed

Great food and service.. one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the Scottsboro area.. beef enchiladas with cheese sauce.. Chili Rellenos.. tacos.. carnitas.. with beans and rice are all favorites.. guacamole is pretty good here too..

Awesome restaurant! Stopped on a whim while driving through and it was worth it. Wonderful ambience and set-up throughout the restaurant. Super nice and helpful staff. Great chips and Salsa and amazing Birria tacos!

I would say, if you would like to experience a wonderful, Mexican restaurant environment, this is the place for you, but do not expect good food. The salsa was lacking flavor all together and the chicken was not fresh at all. Don’t get me started on the margarita—-The worst house margarita mix I think I’ve ever had but I will say that it did give me a buzz. Unfortunately, I need more than a buzz to eat here.

Food was wonderful. The cockroaches on the walls... not so much..

I wish I could leave no stars for service. We’ve been coming here for years. Margarita Monday, karaoke on Wednesday, and ordering take out multiple times a month. Always loved the people and the atmosphere. Tonight, I ordered take out. My husband walked in 20 minutes after I ordered and seen two bags on the bar. He told the lady what he had and paid her. He waited for 30 minutes and a guy asked him if he had been helped yet. He told him he had paid and was waiting on his order and had been there about 30 minutes. The guy goes to the two bags on the bar and brings them to Corey. Corey tells him he’s been there for :9 minutes waiting and those bags have been there the entire time. The guy is hateful off the jump and blatantly accuses him of lying and says he bagged that order himself and he knows that isn’t true. My husband was shocked and asked if there was anyone else like a manager he can speak to and the guy says “oh sure!” And literally turns a circle and says “oh yeah that’s me!” He then proceeds to ask my husband “do you want the food or a refund?” Corey takes the food and says “wow way to treat a patron of your business” the guy follows him to the door and says “yeah sure! Have a good night!” I have never experienced such hatefulness at BV but I can tell you we will never experience it again. It’s such a shame too, we’ve loved this place for years!

Got set in a dark corner and are waiter barely checked on us took forever for the food and it’s not even that crowded I’m not the type that really does any reviews but this was such a terrible experience that I felt like I needed to leave one. Very disappointed

If you just so happen to be in Scottsboro AL and need some great food , then you definitely need to stop by here. I love their steak & shrimp personally, but my daughter only wants their tacos 🌮 when anyone mentions "Mexican food " . Seriously this place has it figured all the way out , the staff is friendly and helpful, the ambience is what you'd expect, the bathrooms are extremely clean and well stocked. This is the only Mexican restaurant within 100 miles I'll even entertain the notion of going to.

I hate to give a bad review because this place used to be decent, but the last 3 times I've been here have been a terrible. Tonight was the worst I've ever had, and that's saying a lot considering I was once served broken glass in my meal by another restaurant in town... I was splitting a burrito California steak with my child and needed an extra plate. It took about 15 min to finally get the staff's attention and a plate so my child could eat. By that time, our food was cold. The burrito had 3 or 4 bites of meat that was tough and flavorless. The burrito was 98% rice, I would have been better off just ordering a side of rice, to be honest. The red sauce ontop was so salty that it was uneatable and I couldn't get any staff's attention so I ended up pulling the tortilla off and scraping the sauce to the side so my child could get a few bites of rice in. I was so put off by the whole thing that we gave up and went to the register to ask for the cheque since our waiter was to busy to check on us. My total was 26$ for a rice filled tortilla that I couldn't eat, sweet tea and side of cheese sauce. Absolute a rip-off and will never be back.

We have always gotten Great food and excellent service here. This time was no exception. One of the best tamales I’ve had in awhile and my wife had shrimp enchiladas and they were awesome.

Recently stopped in for a lunch here. Atmosphere is nice. Chips are good...salsa is warm! Actually on the hotter side. Ordered one of the new Torta sandwiches with steak. When the sandwich arrived the bread was burned and it had a massive amount of lettuce and guacamole and onions. Very little steak on both sides. The sandwich all together was cold...even the steak. We planned on talking to the manager, but our server never returned or asked us how our food was. This was the first time we had been there in months and it seems it was a wise choice. Do NoT get the Torta. The pic on the menu looks great compared to what we were both served

I judge Mexican restaurants, or should I say, Tex-Mex restaurants, by their rice and beans. I know that sounds weird, but I love rice and beans. This place has delicious rice and beans! I could eat only those and I'd be 😊 happy. Today I ate the lunch special... poblano pepper, rice and beans, with cheese and enchilada sauce, I believe... all for $7.00. I was STUFFED. And, it was delicious. I couldn't eat all of it, and I'm a pig. Lots of food for $7.00. THANK YOU.
