Wife and I stayed at Chapter 2 the mid century NY suite and instantly felt at home. Great chill rooftop and atmosphere. The wine restaurant below was excellent with their knowledge and selection of wines as well as offering a curated selection of beers on tap. Amsay was very kind and went above and beyond the entire stay. Definitely staying again and a must if you want to be in a charming location outside LA with coffee and breakfast tacos adjacent to your door.

We had an incredible stay at Hotel Covell. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very comfortable and very clean. The staff is kind & accommodating. There's even a cute outdoor patio! We had to extend our stay a couple times and Sarah, at the front desk, always worked her magic and made it work. Finally, the location couldn't be better! It's right in the heart of Los Feliz and there are so many great spots within walking distance.

We stayed here for a night and I fell in love with the story and interior design. The room we stayed in was mid century and perfectly curated and pieced together. We has direct access to the patio which was a nice lounging area. They have a restaurant downstairs that has some good options you could take up to your room. The bed was very comfy. Hotel Covell is centrally located, staff is friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t pass along a hotel recommendation from our recent stay in Los Angeles. Hotel Covell, in the Los Feliz section of L.A. is a 9 suite boutique hotel with a cool apartment building vibe. The units are all different, and they sit over a great coffee shop, Ice cream store and Bar Covell, a popular wine bar that serves around 150 wines by the glass, and a light menu. You’re within walking distance to cool shops, bars and restaurants, and who knows, you might see a celebrity or two staying there or just out and about. Convenient free parking in the back avoids the usual big hotel up charge and valet costs. I’d say the price is reasonable compared to other decent L.A. hotels. The staff is very friendly and accommodating too. We picked it for its proximity to where our daughter lives, but whatever your plans in La La Land, check out Hotel Covell.

Loved the stay at Hotel Covell! The staff were all cheerful and attentive! We stayed in Chaper 8 and it was incredible. The decor of the room was highly aesthetic and even as a family with young kids, we found the stay great with lots of space and a small kitchenette (no cooking) which was useful.

This wonderful, eclectic, boutique hotel in the trendy neighborhood of Los Feliz was a great surprise! We've travelled the world and found that in many other countries hotel personnel actually care about the level of service they provide in order to please their guests, whereas we've not found that in so many places in the US. The staff at Hotel Covell, however, DOES truly care about getting it right and providing a positive experience for their guests. Lovely, stay overall, and we would be more than happy to stay again!

Hotel Covell is gorgeous, clean, perfectly located and has the friendliest staff. We were walkable to restaurants and public transport like the Metro and buses, perfect for us as we had plans at Dodger Stadium, Universal Studios, and Griffith Observatory. The tacos next door are so convenient and delicious (we also tried their cookies which were great). The staff was responsive, accommodating, and pleasant. Sooo glad we chose to stay here!

My husband and I had a great stay at Hotel Covell! We stayed in Chapter 1. The room was large, well appointed, and comfy. Everyone associated with the hotel and the bar was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed getting a bottle of wine from the bar and lounging on the roof patio. As noted on the hotel website, it can be a bit noisy in and around the hotel. This is not a complaint, but we did hear music from the bar, other rooms, and lots of street noise. If this bothers you, call the hotel to figure out the best room for you. Also, Los Feliz is a nice area and the hotel is located close to lots of yummy restaurants. There is literally a good coffee shop, taco place, and sushi spot all within 20 steps out the front door. The hotel is also a great location for easy access to Griffith Park. We walked over and hiked up to the Observatory. I highly recommend a stay at Hotel Covell!!

This place is magnificent. Every room is perfectly appointed & no detail has been left to chance. I checked in after 26 hours of travel & instantly felt at home in my suite. The low key atmosphere and adjoining wine bar/restaurant take things to another level. It's definitely worth your time, and your dime, to stay here on your next LA adventure.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Covell. The checkin and interactions with the staff feel more like that of a Bed & Breakfast. Very personal and welcoming. The rooms themselves are PERFECT. Quiet, comfortable and larger than most hotel rooms. The connected coffee shop is excellent. There is also plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. If we're planning to stay in the area again we will absolutely book Covell again.

Loved my one night stay at Hotel Covell! The roof top lounge for guests is lovely. The rooms are engaging and comfortable. Each suite represents a chapter in the life of Covell. Looking forward to the ongoing story with four more suites in the adjacent building. Turns out that guest parking behind the hotel is quite convenient. Johnny the host/manager is very accommodating. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Fantastic hotel!! The room was super trendy and comfy and unique. We were shown to our room by Johnny, who was very gracious and welcoming. He told us about nearby restaurants and made sure we had all the info we needed. We particularly enjoyed the hotel, being that it is our last name, but the customer service was just amazing. After we settled into the room Johnny surprised us with two bottles of Covell wine, as a gift! Thanks Johnny! We'll definitely be back!

Staying at the Hotel Covell was an amazing experience. We had the opportunity to have our group occupy the majority of the rooms on the top floor so we were able to see the individual details in each room. The beds, Le labo products, amazing room decor did not go unnoticed. The outdoor patio was a nice area for our group to meet outside and felt like we had our own tiny oasis. Parking was easy and directly next to the hotel. Having coffee and tacos next door was an extra treat. Val who was our contact during our stay was super friendly and communicated everything we needed quickly and truly made our stay magical. I will forever refer our friends and family to this hotel and can’t wait to be back.

We stayed here for honeymoon trip. It became the best memory for us! We always talk about staying at Covell after honeymoon trip!! We love Covell and will back soon!!!! Many thanks❤︎
