My wife had spine surgery the Spine and Neuroscience Center of S. Fl on Monday. We had an amazing surgeon who has given us every hope of a pain free future, the staff from intake to discharge was phenomenal. The staff there from the intake person to the surgeon was absolutely terrific, I would not hesitate ever to utilize their services in the future or recommend them.

Dr. Okun and her Physician Assistant Helen really made one of the most painful and rehabilitating experiences in my life as smooth as it could have ever gone; their kindness, compassion, wholehearted care and genuine concern throughout recovery made me feel like a friend rather than just another patient. From the kind welcoming staff in registration to the nurses that prep me for my spinal surgery the level of professionalism was truly none like no other.

My total experience was wonderful, until discharge. It was pouring down rain and my sister dropped the car key in a giant puddle of rain and leaves and junk. The two nurses who escorted me out didn’t know what to do. I don’t know how long it took, but my sister found the key, nurses gone, and we drove home in the rain. Thank you to all,service was wonderful!

We have had an excellent experience at FMC for both my son’s spine surgery (May 2023) my husband’s back surgery(Nov 2023.) The nurses, staff, doctors etc are all wonderful. They go above and beyond and we are so appreciative of the care we received. This Spine department is highly recommended by us!!!! Thank you FMC!

I have been in many hospitals over my 69 years, but none was as good as Divested Florida Medical Center on W. Oakland Park Blvd. in Ft. Lauderdale. The nurses, doctors and staff were the best ever. They are caring, understanding, friendly and incredible at their jobs.

The hospital was one the best facility I have been too. The staff was very curious and professional. I had a great surgery and the nurses were at the top of their field. It was a great experience.

The staff was very Kind and extremely attentive to all my needs.
