I
came
in
from
the
Pacific
(JP,
SG,
AU)
and
researched
heavily
where
to
enjoy
fresh
sushi
in
LA.
This
place
ranks
highly
so
we
dined
on
04
Mar
20.
The
reservation
process
was
not
ideal,
they
don't
accept
reservations
from
international
numbers.
When
I
phoned
they
said
they
could
hold
a
place
at
the
sushi
bar
for
10
minutes
only.
I
had
to
be
out
of
there
in
1h
15m
due
to
a
second
booking
and
the
only
option
was
the
no
price
'omakase'.
we
rushed
to
get
there
and
at
the
time
of
our
arrival,
18:45,
the
restaurant
had
4-6
people
dining.
I'll
say
the
service
was
immaculate
but
the
food,
especially
for
someone
who
eats
sushi
and
Japanese
cuisine
quite
often,
was
a
let
down.
I
arrived
with
my
partner
who
was
not
very
hungry
and
had
half
the
plates
I
had
and
our
final
bill,
including
a
$40
bottle
of
300ml
sake
was
$381USD.
Along
with
the
majority
of
the
other
reviews,
i
concur
this
place
is
overpriced.
They
use
'Chilean
sea
bass'
and
low
quality
Toro
to
justify
their
hidden
billing
system
but
if
you
are
familiar
with
the
cuisine,
look
elsewhere
for
a
fair
price.
Restaurants
should
disclose
their
prices
and
if
its
worth
it,
customers
will
pay
high.
This
foible
and
their
kitsch
rules
for
dining
in
the
hall
leading
up
to
the
establishment
as
well
as
all
over
their
walls
should
have
been
indicators.
