Philly’s went downhill it has been over 6 months since I have returned to Philly’s and in this time this place has really gone downhill. Apparently you can’t order over the phone only via the online process. Their service # the worse. The place looks ghetto now it was dirty filthy the service in person sucks now. They make you make your own order at the window kiosk and if you have trouble no one there to help you. They have music pumping and they don’t even hear you and the guys there just chillin. They modified their menu don’t even carry the pizza Philly cheesesteaks anymore, they don’t give you extra peppers anymore you have to pay for them $1.25 the drinks are $3.25 and we used to be able to get water. They don’t allow you to sit inside only outside and chair tables are dirty. See photos bathrooms are down. Honestly am disappointed with the changes and don’t care for it as much as I did in the past. The flavor is about the same just quality of service sucks.

I found this to be an interesting place. It is clear to me from the food that the owners understand how an east coast/Philly cheesesteak is supposed to be made. I had a mushroom and provolone slathered in cheese whiz. It was good but could have been a great sandwich if not for the bread. The Roll I had was a bit soggy. The pizza fries, on the other hand, are a must-have I would come back for them alone.

Okay. I've passed this store like fifty million times. I have always been like, I like the font. I'll eat there one day. Never do. Cut to like six years later. I'm like I gotta try this. So I head up to the window. I order on the computer. Don't have to talk to anybody. Love that. I get a mushroom/pepper cheesesteak and an Italian hoagie and some cheese fries. Now, ordering is a bit confusing. It's like, add don't add. I don't know if i need to add, but I don't. Great choice. It has most of the stuff. This place. Please. Unreal. The food. It tastes just like the font reads. Fantastic. Street. Delicious. I ate the cheesesteak so fast I couldn't even get a pic. But, check out the hoagie pic. BEASTLY. Like, I haven't seen a sandwich like this since I I was a kid and somebody brought one of those long sandwiches to class. I am like. Second sandwich. Let's go. You caught me in the middle of it. So, I gotta get back to it. Wish me luck. But, I guess, the moral of the story is - don't be like me. Eat at Boo's before you waste your time not eating here for so long.

Always love the food here. I mix it up and this time I got the Cheesesteak Hogie which is the same as a cheesesteak but with tomato, lettuce and mayo added in. I definitely like an og cheesesteak but the hogie is a tasty way to mix it up. Boo's never fails to deliver an excellent sandwich.

This place is good but not what it used to be pre covid. I was not aware that you cannot dine in. And the unfortunate part was the one hour drive to get there and still forced to eat in my car. All while being pressured to leave the parking lot, even though I was waiting for another order. Pretty rude experience I would have to say, but I don’t blame the employees. I blame management/ owners. I didn’t take picture of my current sandwich/experience because it was too dark and I was in my car. The picture below is what it used to be pre covid. Hope Boos gets back to there old ways.

This spot is a hidden Gem 💎, you will drive right by it if you are not in search of a Philly cheese. This place is the closest thing iv had to an original Philly cheese steak. This place has a small parking station and a small outdoor seating area. This time around, I had the Philly cheese mushrooms 🍄 and pepper 🌶, I think my go-to here would be the Phil cheese 🧀 and mushrooms 🍄. Service is great 👍🏿 and quick.

Sandwich is kind of small. The pictures on the website are extremely decieveing. Sandwich was okay. Nothing really sticking out. Kind of cheap on the meat. Overall not impressed.

Tastes like a sandwich you would get straight out of Philly! They do a pretty damn good cheese wiz cheesesteak.

The cheesesteaks here are good but portion is small for price paid. Same with the hoagies, they just pack it with veggies and only two slices of meat. Not worth the trip or the hype. This place will never own up to the original Philly cheesesteak and hoagie

Decent options (not sit-down restaurant but fast food/semi fast food) are slim around this area and it's walking distance from my work so I thought I'd give it a shot. Everything about it just felt very mediocre and not something I'd recommend or go back to. Very hot sandwich was double wrapped, once with paper another foil. Of course the heat of the sandwich wrapped so tight has nowhere to escape resulting in bread that was mostly soggy. I said okay whatever, I'll deal with it in hopes that the main thing, the meat is good but again, in keeping with this review, very mediocre and unmemorable. I had some high hopes having heard good things about this place but sadly for me it wasn't.

I HATE THIS RESTAURANT . First off the restaurant is OUTSIDE DINING ONLY. They DON'T ACCEPT CASH only credit card or apple pay and I don't have an apple phone I prefer Android phones and I also prefer to use cash So this restaurant had NOTHING that I liked. Be warned THIS RESTAURANT DOESN'T HAVE A BATHROOM I'm boycotting this restaurant for life

I ordered this for delivery while in town and it was THE BEST Cheesesteak I've had outside of Philly. We all know, Cheez wiz is a key ingredient and they delivered. I loved it so much I ate way too much in one sitting. Hats off to Boo's. Will definitely order again while I'm in town.

Authentic ingredients, good flavor and quality, made to order. Not knowing much about cheesesteak I tried this place on a recommendation by a friend from Philly and always craving this ever since. Choose your own toppings, I love whiz but many prefer provolone or American. Vibe: It’s a small takeout place with little parking so pickup and enjoy! Frequent coupons if you sign up for emails.

The food is delicious. So they endured Covid and the business survived. However, when I added tomatoes, lettuce, and mushrooms to the Philly cheese steak, and bought a bottle of Coke and French fries, it was almost $30. I used the kiosk to order and wait, but it was so cold that I got into the car. It was unusually cold after the rain. The only seating is outdoors. Still, I was thankful that there was a parking lot and food was brought to the car. The packaging wasn't sturdy so it wasn't easy to eat and my hands got dirty. There is no place to wipe your hands, so prepare wet wipes. I think it would have been better to wrap it tightly like Subway or cut it in half. I'll say it again, the food is delicious, not salty and balanced.

Tastiest cheese steak sandwich we had in years! Quality food is served here. Will be returning again and again. Cashless so be prepared.

I don’t think I’ve ever been blown away so completely. Luckily, I got parking and I came up to check this place out now they’re cashless. You do all the ordering at the terminal at the front window but you won’t even have to wait 10 minutes and you’re gonna be enjoying one of the best sandwiches all of Los Angeles has I went with the booze cheesesteak, but I added the fried pickles throw in some mustard to the last thing I saw, was the rapper because I’m gonna order another one!!

I'm from PA... Loved it! I dislike Philly, Pitt guy. But this was amazing! Ready for another.. Add the 🧀 whiz! The only way to go!

This is probably the best cheesesteak I've had in California. I used to eat philly cheesesteaks all the time back in Philly. All diffent places. This place taste similarly to pats. Glad to see whiz cheese available even though a lot of places dont have it in socal. I ordered in person on a tablet and went to go sit in my car. You are presented with a bunch of different sandwiches and then modifier if you want to. sides and a drink. Google pay and apple pay works here. The worker brings the food out to you. I don't even know how they keep track of all the different people and cars coming in but they know who you are and that's pretty cool. If you want a Philly cheesesteak like you do back home in PA. Get one here. Or go back home to the east coast

The food at this place was amazing, I drove an hour to get there and since I was there I felt I needed to get a taste of everything. I ordered a Philly cheese steak with mushrooms and onion, cheese whiz, American cheese and half extra meat and two cheese fries with steak on top. It took me an hour and a half to get home because of traffic and I stopped off to drop a sandwich to a friend. When I got home after a long drive all the food was still hot and it was amazingly good. I'll be back, two thumbs up to Boo's

Come here for one thing and one thing only - the Philly cheesesteaks. We’ve gotten takeout from Boo’s a few times, and it always hits the spot. I would recommend on ordering extra cheese and perhaps 1/2 extra steak as well and one sandwich is good to fill you for hours.

The pepper and mushroom cheesesteak tastes great! Not greasy and the sweet pepper is a delightful addition.

I did a little research on Boos before going as it was a 1.5 hour drive to get there so i was well aware of people complaining about rude service and not being able to eat in the parking lot. I can say neither were an issue for me. I arrived about 1:15, after the lunch rush and parked my car in their parking lot. I ordered from the quiosk and waited about 8 minutes, i asked if i could eat in their front patio and they obliged. I ate quickly as to not take up a valuable parking space... The Cheesesteak: I ordered a cheesesteak with onions extra cheese. In doing research i see that boos precooks their steak and reheats it (social media), i didnt see the steak being made so cant confirm but it disapoints me. I got a cheesesteak with plenty of meat but my cheese wasnt fully melted and it was just at the bottom of the roll instead of being melted throughout. All in all, this place was good just not 1.5 hour drive good and i will not be coming back

Loved the cheese steak, asked for a Italian Hoagie no Salami ( allergic) and was told NO. No substitute or price change requested. This Philly Girl misses her hometown food, Will continue to get cheese steaks from here but I'll have to wait to go home for a Hoagie 🙂

Such good cheesesteaks! Brought some people with me from out of town and they too enjoyed it. If they offered oil and vinegar I would give them 5 stars. I'll be back, the pizza fries were ok. There's indoor and outdoor seating with limited parking.

Cashless, First Cheesesteak and it didn’t disappoint. Hank’s soda drink is the perfect combination with the Cheesesteak.

Delicious Philly Cheesesteaks. Parking is kind of a pain. They were only open for take out when I went, so we went to a park to eat. I would have probably been even better dining in.

This is definitely a good spot! We tried it for the first time and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious! Only thing was that it was a bit pricey. We spent about $50 without drinks for two people. Overall, it was good! I will definitely go back for more!

As I wrote my old review I had to redo it after eating my food lol and readjust my star rating from 3 to 4. I can't give them a 5 because there's no atmosphere aka no where to sit really bummed about that and the service is self service which takes away from the atmosphere it used to have hopefully they bring back chairs because my family loves coming here even if we have to sit in traffic for 3 hours just to get here.

The moment a business does NOT ACCEPT CASH, F you.... socialists scumbags... was told to use the computer to ask for 3 packs of mustard because COVID is rampant in LA... COODIES has been recognized as the biggest government HOAX... Will not return to a SHEEP business...

Had this on my list of "To try" locations. Was finally able to convince my wife to make the short trip with me. We both had a cheese steak sandwich, her without onions and provolone & whiz. Mine was their standard with onions. The location is a to go only. You order from a kiosk upon arrival. I tried to call in a phone order, but was directed to order online. I placed and paid for our order. They were okay. Soft and flavorful. Unfortunately, nothing special in my opinion. I rated them 4 stars because there wasn't anything 'bad' about the food itself. My wife's description was 'they remind me of the cheese steak sandwich you buy at a food court'. The portions were okay as well. Glad I was able to finally cross this off my list.

Cheese steak was good but greasy. Fries were greasy and not as good as i would have liked but ok. No bathroom. Food brought to car. Very covid conscious!

Great Cheesesteaks, great Cheesesteak fries. Pizza fries were so, so. The cupcakes sounded amazing but were dry. If the cupcakes were better, I would've given 5 stars.

For taste and flavor a solid 5 however I was disappointed by the size. I’m a big dude if I knew the size I would have gotten like 3. The flavor was on point. The hoagie was a perfect size and amazing as well. I don’t usually like pickles but that was so perfect with that hoagie. I will be back and make sure to order at least 3 cheesesteaks.
