Before coming to the store, I have previously met the amazing staff of Jesse Boy in a couple of yelp events. I love their enthusiasm and the pride they take in the food they serve. Although I love the food and friendly staff, it took me awhile to visit their brick and mortar store. Until that day finally happened and realized that I missed out big time for not coming any sooner. I had the crispy chicken bites on a bed of jasmine rice with a side of greens. I have tried their vegan fried cauliflower before. It's so good that ordering it is a MUST for me. I already had quite a handful on my plate but it's good that the store lets you take only a half order. As expected, everything was amazing! It's addicting that I'm planning to revisit soon. Looking forward to say hi again to the magnificent team, Jesse, Jay and Ajay. This is a teeny tiny store with only a few tables and chairs. It has no restroom but Starbucks next door comes in handy.

I'm leaving a negative review at this restaurant with usually great food. I make a 30 minute commute just to come eat their chicken, which shows how great the food actually is. But I have had multiple issues when I make an order for pickup, whether they getting my order wrong like giving me wings instead of tenders. Or when I picked up my order for 3 tenders and rice, I come to a surprise to see they only put 2 tenders instead of 3. Why it might not seem like a big deal, I expect to get what I pay for regarding my meal, and keep in mind it's a 30 minute drive home for me with the anticipation of eating their delicious tenders with ponzu sauce and white jasmine rice. I tried to contact the store about this issue but they didn't pick up the phone, and it led me to their voicemail which was full, which leads me to believe that they don't answer any feedback. This isn't a knock on the food. It shouldn't be up to me to check my food to make sure everything is okay, but it seems that there might be an additional step in the future if I come back here again.

Kind understanding staff and amazing food. Due to communication issues and being a newbie at the location, I ordered chicken options when I really wanted the cauliflower options. After waiting for the order and upon checking that there was a mistake due to our miscommunication, they happily agreed to remake the order, this time with the cauliflower version. I half expected that I would have to pay again but the staff was so kind, accommodating and understanding. If you guys are reading this, I appreciate you all! And thanks for being amazing.

Loved the cauliflower sandwich, great blend of heat and not oily. Nice veg option for those looking for a chicken alternative. Small walk in and out kinda place. You can sit outside near by to eat.

Hands down the best fried chicken! The bowl is literally everything you can ask for in a meal. It has delicious light salad and this crispy but juicy chicken on rice. Chefs kiss!

I love this place. Moving to Atlanta so I’ve been eating way more because I’ll miss it. If you order ahead, food is quick and doesn’t vary. It’s as good as the last time, every time. Please open in Atlanta

Surprisingly delicious Korean take on a chicken sandwich. I was very impressed by the quality of ingredients in the Jesse boy traditional sandwiches. I found the sauces to be well seasoned and unique. Watch out the spicy sauce is very spicy 🌶️ but with just a hint of spicy the sandwich taste even better. The design and overall flavor of the chicken sandwiches I ordered we very good. Unfortunately customer service from the guy who took my order was very bad. He seemed like he just hates his job. Lucky for me he was not cooking the food.

The food just okay. The Cauliflower should be better battered and small. The pieces were really huge. I wish the sauce had some sweetness to it. Great service, I just wish the food was more flavorful.

Very pallet pleasing. A delicious and unique conception in the fried chicken genre. Was enamored with the flavors. Chicken was crisp & juicy, perfectly glazed and bursting with taste. Fries and cauliflower were the perfect staple with the meal. I commend the chef on his culinary acumen. Dynamite establishment.

Delicious fried chicken that had Korean-inspired coating but the rest of the menu wasn’t very Korean. It was still good! And maybe they are pigeon holing the many saying it’s Korean inspired?

Great food. Prep does not take long. Max 10minutes ti get your order. Employees are usually very friendly. Parking is difficult and limited. Prices are decent. All items are delicious. Recommend the sesame dressing on the jasmi e rice and chicken tenders.

Love Jesse Boy! The cauliflower is my favorite and an amazing vegan option, but my partner who isn’t vegan also loves it. Fries are also a must. Great service and fair pricing. Can’t get any better than that!

I think it’s great that Jesse Boy provides vegetarian alternatives to the Korean fried chicken craze. As someone who loves meat, fried cauliflower also sounds really delicious. I ordered a plate and it was very flavorful. We got it delivered and it was already soggy, but there was a bit of crunch from the inner layer. It came with pickled radish on the side (not pictured) and the fries. They fries were okay, they were soggy without much flavor. Not sure what that lemon’s doing there, I don’t think the the food needs it, especially since the chicken is already flavored with ponzu.

Jesse Boy is always a treat. They have cauliflower sandwiches and chicken sandwiches for any type of person. Their sandwiches are so crunchy and delicious, with such rich, spicy flavor. I make sure to come here any time I'm in LA.

Great Korean Fried Chicken (Wings or Tenders) or Korean Fried Cauliflower (vegan) for a fair price! It's very simple to order with a couple of steps - I got the Korean Fried Chicken Tenders with Fries. I would recommend you order online as they always make it fresh and make take a bit of time but it is worth it! Staff are very friendly and portions are generous.

Great little spot. I went with my friend before we went to a comedy show and it was a good way to start off the night. Walking in you are immediately face to face with the menu and the cashier. There isn't any seating inside the establishment, but we asked and the employees allowed us to take a table outside and some stools. It was very nice of them! I got Fried Cauliflower and Fries. I'm not even vegan, but the cauliflower was a light alternative to typical tenders. Good flavor and portion size. Not overly oily so you don't get sick of it. They also give pickled radishes which are a great pallet cleanser between bites. Would recommend giving this place a try! I know I'll be back.

I ordered the chicken bowl from here (via Postmates) and it arrived in perfect condition and was delicious...so I ordered it again today. I got it, ready to enjoy the amazingness I had had the other day and to my surprise....it wasn't the same thing, even though I ordered the same thing. So, I went in person to see if I had made a mistake. Turns out, they don't put the "glaze" on the chicken in their chicken bowls, only on tenders? Well, the first time I ordered, someone mistakenly put the tenders with the glaze, in my bowl even though they weren't supposed to - basically what I ordered, doesn't exist, it was just a mistake. The lady had great customer service (hence the third star) and offered to remake it for me, the way it was mistakenly made the first time and let me know that I could put a note in the instructions next time to substitute the tenders. I was so happy. Just got home, and it's the same non-glaze chicken and basically wasn't replaced at all. Food is good but I can't say I'll be back any time soon. It was their mistake that someone made the bowl incorrectly and now I feel like I'm paying for that.

The fried chicken and the fried cauliflower are both delicious. The spicy option is too spicy for me, but I find the regular to be full of flavor and perfect! You can also ask for the spicy sauce on the side and then add a little bit to your food if you desire. It always feels like a family affair there, like you are getting a proper home cooked scrumptious meal. Very friendly service. Delicious salad, too. I like to get the 1/2 rice 1/2 salad option with some pickled ginger on the side. Perfecto!

The fried chicken sandwich was delicious! The chicken was super juicy and tender and the batter on the outside was crispy. I ended up sharing a loaded curly fries with my husband. There was so much cheesy goodness with bacon and green onions. I'd definitely come back here! There are tables outside that you can sit it - first come first serve. We grabbed an open table and had to wipe it down since there were still crumbs from the last group that sat there.

I have been hearing a lot of positive things about "Jesse boy Korean fried chicken" but kept forgetting to try it. They are in a small location in the middle of a forgettable strip mall at the intersection of Vine and Santa Monica Boulevard. When I say small location, I mean small. They do not have a dining room. You therefore must get your order to-go. As with all modern restaurants, they do have an online presence where you can place orders for pick-up or delivery. Since all orders are made fresh when you place your order, it is highly recommend that you place your order in advance and pick it up once it is ready (if not delivery) simply because there is very little space to wait for your order and it takes around 15 minutes on average to prepare your order. If you find yourself waiting there for your order to be prepared, you will also find yourself trying to be as small as possible while waiting for your order. Is the food worth the effort and the wait? You bet it is! I had the fried chicken bowl and an order of Jesse boy fries. The fried chicken bowl was delicious. Fried chicken tenders on sticky rice with a very healthy mixture of fresh vegetables on top. The chicken tenders were plump and perfectly cooked (juicy not dry) and it all went together to make a healthy meal. I couldn't just stop at healthy though so I had to get their version of cheese fries. Cheese fries are not exactly unhealthy for you but they are fattening. These cheese fries were heavenly so I know that they had to be fattening. Anything that is this delicious has to be bad for you. It is one of the rules of dining. The better it tastes, the worse it is for you. These cheese fries were so good that I must have been taking years off of my life while eating them and I honestly did not care. Bring on the cheese fries and I will gladly die young. I will try to balance things out by eating a healthy main course from "Jesse boy Korean fried chicken" but you better believe that will be followed up with their absolutely heavenly cheese fries. I am drooling just thinking about them again.

Easily the best chicken burgers I've had in my entire life. Actually spicy, with a good selection of secondary ingredients to boot. Top it all off with a side of loaded fries that're some of the best in the business, all for under $15. Service was quick and as popular as the place is, there was seating for us by the time our order was ready. Will definitely be stopping by again in the near future; wish there was one near my house!

The only reason I’m not giving a five star and I almost gave three stars is because the chicken is sometimes way smaller in my sandwich so I suggest making sure the sandwich has chicken entirely not half the sandwich with a small tender piece. The taste was good and we enjoyed out meal! Anyways, the food is really crunchy and there is a distinct Korean flavor profile. Business is friendly but again I’m like wanting to give three stars but I’ll just give four because I want to support the small business.

Ordered on Grubhub, and it came very quickly. It was packaged and sealed nicely. The chicken tasted really good. I got the 3 spicy chicken tenders with fries and added an extra tender. They were pretty spicy. I didn’t finish the food so I had leftovers the next day. Also, do NOT hesitate to get the aioli dipping sauce. It’s $0.50. Do it - It’ll be worth it. Good prices for what you get. Would definitely order again online or even in-person!

Came here for dinner before a performance. I don’t eat meat so I bought the cauliflower and fries. OMGOODNESS delicious! I wish I could have eaten the whole thing. The employees are really nice. Parking is in a lot. I will be coming back!

Disregard photo because I took it half way into eating it! Got the chicken bowl and cauliflower dish. A unique kick to fried chicken and cauliflower. Food was overall good. Good portion for the price. Loved the sauce but it was too salty. Pretty filling. The radishes were bad. Got it delivered on DoorDash! Was sad because the dried food was soggy (due to heat being trapped). Would try this place again! Unsure about service or cleanliness since mine were delivered.

Bad thing to say... Only take out no seating anywhere. Sad for a place with really good food. Five people good and drink $100 with tip -to have to take it to your place or wherever you plan to eat it, hmmm ??? I say not again but the wife said she would and that's amazing. Food was good but please me owner a seating area would be nice. All the crew was awesome. Great team. So that's why I gave a four star review.... I walked from Funko to your place but Lyft it back for 9$ xl. With a seating area good would have been a 5 star for sure! This adventure cost me 115 with tip lol. Not your fault😆

Oh my Goodness! The Korean Style fried chicken salad was wonderful! The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the Syracha sauce was spicy warm and just the right touch.
