If you want some serenity, please go and visit this place irrespective of any religion. The temple ambience inlcluding the hymns, the bells, deities creates a peaceful harmony. You can sit there and relax and meditate. There are also some yoga classes held during weekends.

Very Beautiful Mandir, we have been visiting this since many years. But recently the Priest has been very rude and insulting. I noticed he is misbehaving with not just with regular people but also elderly woman and toddlers. We felt really bad at his attitude. I want the trustees to take serious a notice of this. Service to mankind is service to God. And a priest should be a person with large heart, peaceful and forgiving. We all go to the temple to get some calm and peaceful environment. But if the person who is supposed to help us in this does the opposite it becomes a problem. He behaved so badly (multiple times) with our entire family including my mother who recently came from India, we were considering to leave without Pooja. He infact taunted our 17 months kid that we are not teaching her well since she was resisting tilak on her forehead (how can someone judge and expect a 17 months old kid to learn in this age). We were very upset and felt very insulted. I would request everyone to please take a note of this.

Beautiful Hindu temple. More like a north indian style. Beautiful from outside and inside. Very well managed and maintained. Will definitely keep visiting.

This was a beautiful Mandir to visit. I loved the outside architecture, as well as all the murties inside the temple. The Panditji was very friendly and welcoming. Will visit again when I come back to this part of Florida. Jai Mata Di

Very serene place of worship, well maintained, clean. We went there on a Tuesday, during the day, it was very peaceful and quiet to do Darshan.

Beautiful and divine place. God ideals are so beautiful and food is amazing. They have South Indian menu on Saturday and food is delicious. They also give prasad on Sunday at around 1 o’clock.

Great temple, great atmosphere, but our visit was ruined by the priest. He kept screaming and trying to get us to do something but —we didn’t understand. He got mad at us and started giving an attitude. It’s a great temple and Hinduism is a welcoming religion. I don’t understand why the priest cannot be welcoming and nice to people coming in. It’s terrible and leaves a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. Rest of the temple is great, literally everyone else is so friendly other than him. Hope the management of the temple reads these reviews and actually either talks to him or switch him. If you want the younger generation to come to the temple it’s not nice to have an old man scream at us.

The Temple is Spectacular, the Deities are Mesmerizing and the whole surrounding environment of temple is pristine and tranquil enough to bring peace to whoever visits. South Florida temple have been a truly inspiring destination for us and many in this region with it's beautiful ceremonies, cultural activities and celebrations throughout the year! However, from past few years, we have came across the new Panditji, who has been quite hurtful and rude-spoken at times. We have witnessed his arrogance on many occasions from normal temple days to Mahashivatatri to most recently Ram mandir pratishtha celebration. He ruthlessly scolded the entire population (above 350) gathered inside the temple hall, waiting for the cultural show to start. He accused the whole mass for being excessively talkative, not paying attention to his pooja and hence lacking common sense and sanskar. It was quite a bummer to a joyous occasion and unfortunately this rude lecture marked beginning of the show and dampened spirits of the young children standing on the stage for the very first dance performance. As a guardian of the temple and a public figure, people expected little more empathy and welcoming nature from him and were visibly upset. Thankfully, rest of the evening was made glorious by heartwarming performances from all age groups, bhajan, ram nam kirtan and arati followed by the MahaPrasad. The same evening, another temple senior associate showed his disappointment and accused me of lack of Pooja ethics due to carrying my purse while taking Darshan across the temple and advised me to keep my ladies bag away in the hall, before stepping towards the deities. In the era of this new commitee, there have been numerous instances, us or our friends or the other visitors have been scolded by the Panditji or one of his associates for trivial issues, not even sparing seniors of small kids. Many of the devotees like me there seem to be afraid of getting insulted with random comments by our so-called flag-bearer ! Interestingly, all are greeted by a much cordial and respectful team of Panditjis at the other nearby major temple. We expect the knowledgeable Panditjis to correct us or preach us, if needed, but with compassion not with contempt. Everyone comes from far and near to a holy place with hopes of some positively, inspiration and good vibes and expect to return back with peace in heart, doesn't deserve humiliation or ill-treatment. I humbly request the temple management to take care of our concerns and present us back the old vibes of SFHT, which was an abode of Tranquility & Enlightenment!!

Been going to this temple since I was little, but recently its been greedy and money hungry. The pundit is very rude to people now adays and segregates the people who donate more to the people who dont donate at all. I hope people realise this corruption and hope for change.🙏🏽

The priest (South Indian) was very annoying and condescending. He kept making stupid remarks throughout the ceremony. Kept asking for more cash or kind throughout the puja. Later when we paid the dakshina + payment to the temple, he asked for more. We were hoping for a peaceful ceremony..very disappointed. He gave us a long list of articles to arrange for the puja and did not even use half of them. Will not recommend.

Went to this temple and had the WORST experience because of the pandit (South Indian). The mandir is BEAUTIFUL and the atmosphere is great — only when the pandit is not screaming things at you. I came here with my friends who are not Hindu’s and it was so shameful for me to introduce them to my religion this way. It’s so embarrassing that anyone thinks this is an ok way to behave at a religious place, that too such a peaceful and welcome religion like Hinduism. I’ve been to Mandir’s in many countries and have NEVER had anyone act this way. They should really consider telling him that if you want people to have a positive experience at a mandir— which everyone ALWAYS should, he should chill out and stop screaming at people. So EMBARASSING and extremely weird. I would rather go to a temple where they aren’t coming at me this way!! Anyway, the temple is beautiful.

Very peaceful, beautiful, spacious and well maintained temple. Dieties and inside of the temple may give a North Indian vibe. Overall, loved it. The bench under the sacred peepal tree or fig tree is meditative.

Temple with very positive energy. Temple architecture is something to look at. Very detailed work inside and outside. The side yard and backyard are also beautiful with peepal and neem trees. There are 2 peacocks usually wandering in the backyard. Pandit jis and volunteers are also very friendly.
