    Service is very slow. Had to ask to order, ask for my check...in an airport no less where time is of the essence. I ordered the bacon cheese burger. Mediocre at best and barely warm. I get the check and my 16.99 burger was $26. She charged me $3.99 extra for the bacon that the menu said came on the burger. Server says not my fault. I'm only doing my job. I have to charge you for it. I can't make a mistake. The register adds it. I ask for a manager... and wait and wait and wait. I guess she hoped I would just leave. Finally another waitress stops and ask me the problem. I show her the check and says it was entered incorrectly. I hate being the bad guy but train your people and tell them to be nice. They have no incentive since gratuity is added automatically. I was treated as the problem, instead of the mistake. She corrected the issue but not without me being insistent.

    This place is complete chaos the server Carmen is rude along with the manager they have earned their two stars on google. I walked in an instead of greeting me I was immediately told my wait time will be long because it’s just two of them in an annoyed rude manner so I left and took my money elsewhere. I’d advise other travels to do the same.

    Empty bar at 11 in the morning on 9/11/2023. We started to play cards because we had a while before our flight. The bartender walked up and only said "Are you going to order food?". We said no because we only wanted drinks and he kicked us out with rude words before we could order our drinks.

    the service was awful. the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time we sat at the bar. the bartender told us he would be with us 3 times and waited about 10 minutes until we got menus. was told it would take 30 minutes to make an app that we wanted to order. waited to get another round of drinks and when it came to cash out, that was a 10 minute ordeal. at one point, every person working in the restaurant just disappeared. it’s a little sad that they had to add an 18% gratuity, but when the service is that bad, i guess you gotta do what you need to. we’ve frequented many airport restaurants, and by far this was the worst experience in the ft. lauderdale airport.

    Got to Red Stripe Fort Lauderdale locate after 4:00 pm 3 people in the whole place and were greeted like we had interrupted them from break. Ask the guy at the front whats good on the menu he pointed to the menu which was where already looking at. Bar keep took our order and went right back to texting. My wife tried to get her attention from our table but she never looked up from her phone. The 3rd employee sitting near her who seen my wife trying to get the bar keeps attention did not bother to let the bar keep know. The food what we ordered nothing special. Being that the restaurant was slow the service and food should have been better.

    Waited at the bar for 15 minutes before server finally asked for our order. Then told us 20-30 minutes for a pattie!! WTH... talking about they are handmade to order. BS.....Who got that much time in the freaking airport? The regular restaurants faster than that.

    Starting off with not a friendly bartender. I expect drinks to be high priced in an airport but not that high. Ordered the same drinks and both were bad but they also tasted different from each other. Bill came and they added 18% tip to a bill that was 2 drinks. At bottom of bill it said feel free to increase or decrease the tip. I decreased the tip only to find out the bartender charged the original amount. Mind you everything was bad but I still tipped, just not 18%. I'm sorry but I will never go back PS Bill was $38.73 for two Vodka presses. For rail alcohol

    Nearly $22 for a cheeseburger and fries. I know the price of beef is up but that is ridiculous. With a couple of soft drinks the bill for two of us was $56. There was another couple eating with us and the server initially refused to split the ticket. I didn't ask for 4 separate bills, just in two. I had to ask why and she said she had to ask the manager. Seriously?

    The service provided was excellent! The drinks were fantastic. I recommend trying the wings. Trust me, they'll make your taste buds do a happy dance.

    5* even with staff shortage! FAST service. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. Yes airport food has a convience upcharge, but you haven't flown enough if that concept is new to you. $11-22 entree prices. Portions are appropriate. Will eat again.

    Please for the love of God turn back on the app to order from your phone! The wine is cheap and good but the 1 waitress is totally overwhelmed. She's trying but this is a really high volume bar and she just can't keep up!

    For a quick stop in the airport between flights it's fine. We had a chicken salad and coconut shrimp. The salad had several kinds of fresh greens, and the coconut shrimp were standard fare you can find just about anywhere. While the hostess who sat us seemed like her phone and friends who were walking by were more important than customers, our server was truly attentive and did a very good job explaining menu items and getting our food and check out to us in a timely fashion. As noted in other reviews, a gratuity is added to your check - if you think it's too high or low you can adjust it to match what you'd like to tip.

    1/15 /23. Here at airport bar. Waiting in line with others for a seat available. There is a line... We watched as others continued one after another...walking in past others waiting.. take a seat that comes available. Waitresses desperately scrambling to keep others from cutting in line and planting themselves at a table. I let the bartender (Arthur) know that a family did just walk in and take a table. He was VERY RUDE and his answer to me was "LIFE is just not fare" The sweet waitress were told by "Arthur" the same thing. Rude and hateful!!

    During a layover, I wandered in this Jamaican eatery. It was pretty clean, with a full bar, tables, and booths. Arthur was at the bar, and he was very friendly. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with fries and a beer. The sandwich was better than expected, the fries were hot and the beer was cold. An 18% gratuity has been added to the check, but you have the ability to tailor the gratuity.

    Extremely expensive, 3 oz of concentrate oranges juice for $4. The eggs taste like powder eggs, the toast is stinky burn.

    Sufei the server was very disrespectful I asked for a water she let me know that the owner is here so u have to pay for something if not u can't be here not knowing I was going to order food or not after explaining the situation to nitra the Manager she was even more disrespectful when letting her know about their server poor service

    My husband, son and I just ate at Red Stripe Ft. Lauderdale Airport and everything was amazing including our Server Amanda. We were seated immediately and she was extremely fast while providing service with a smile.

    I’ve been to this location twice now and both times had really attentive and kind service. My husband ordered the American breakfast and got it so fast. He enjoyed it and the bartender was very friendly and speedy. We had just come from margaritaville where we weren’t acknowledged for 30 min and then came here for a much better experience 🙂

    We wanted good basic breakfast and saw the sit Red Stripe restaurant in the terminal we had to wait for our departure. Their breakfast sandwich was very poor quality and over priced. Very disappointed.

    I just ate there while waiting for my flight. Not many options for food. I got the breakfast sandwich with a side of sausage. Food came fast and hot. Server was wonderful. Good but way overpriced.

    My son ate a burger this location and unfortunately it gave him food poisoning. The server didn't even ask how done the burger he wanted. It was on the pink side. I should've look more closely at the burger to see if it was cooked all the way.

    First of all…Arthur shouldn’t place his hand all over the top of your drink glass, next the Burger was not hot, nor were the fries which were also overcooked and mostly scraps. So quite overpriced at $15.99. Arthur the waiter was prompt but when I asked for my food to go bc of flight change he didn’t even fill up the cup, and I had hardly drank anything from the nearly full glass. This inspite of an automatic gratuity… bring ing the burger, fries and drink to almost $25. Since the place wasn’t busy, I would expect better. But obviously where u have little competition for business you can do this. I travel this airport often but I will not stop here again.
