Beautiful memorial dedicated for all the children in memory of Mr. Rogers. The statue of Mr. Rogers faces towards the city of Pittsburgh by the river. Music and dialogue from different episodes of Mr. Rogers’ neighborhood show was playing in the background. Truly a moving tribute and a reminder for us all.

Very nice tribute to an amazing human. If in the Pittsburgh area it is worth a visit. Not far from the old (Heinz Field).

As a huge Mister Rogers fan, I was SO pleased to stop and visit this memorial. As you walk up, there is a lovely garden and then all the sudden you hear Mister Rogers singing and talking from a loud speaker 🥲🫶🏼 the statue was huge! The view from the statue itself is beautiful. It was nice to reflect on the values of Fred Rogers 💛 Highly recommend a stop here.

What a flash back to a mellow, stress free time. What memories come flooding back while looking at Mr Rogers sitting there. You can hear him speaking as you view his statue. What a great person he was. I brought my family to see the area. It’s a must see while in Pittsburgh. It’s easy to find. Look for Heinz Field and Mr Rogers is sitting in front beside the river. It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood neighbor!

If you love Mr. Rogers, then you NEED to see this Memorial at least once in your life. He’s perched on the most perfect little … not a cliff but I wanna say it’s an embankment? Maybe? But there steps to sit and enjoy his presence and there’s a sound system playing 24/7 with 29 of his original compositions that brings back your childhood like crazy. It’s quite peaceful, despite foot traffic . Definitely worth a stop!

I've been to Pittsburgh numerous times and never knew this memorial was here. Mr Rodgers was a huge influence on so many people and just being here brings all those childhood memories back. The view of the city is terrific and is a must see day or night. Parking nearby is not an issue since it's right next to Heinz Field.

As a child who watches his show, it was important for me to visit this site in remembrance of a great man. He was always uplifting and a big part of my day. The memorial site sits at the base of the Steelers stadium overlooking the water front. It's a beautiful space and worth the visit.

A fitting tribute to a wonderful man. I loved the audio recordings of Mr Rogers saying thoughtful and kind things. The larger-than-life sculpture matches Fred's larger-than-life spirit. It wasn't easy to get there on a Friday night with all the street parking closed off for concerts and ballgames, but paying for parking in a lot and walking for 10 minutes was a small price to pay for the experience.

This was a beautiful memorial for Mr. Rogers, his voice is singing when you walk around here. Very peaceful and tranquil, great view to be heard with his voice in the background. A quick stop after the Heinz Field Tour.

On my way to the Pittsburgh Pirates stadium, I stumbled upon the Memorial for Mr. Rogers. I had no idea that Mr. Rogers Neighborhood was filmed at WQED Studios in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As you can see in my videos, the Memorial is under construction. Let's hope the work is completed quickly.

If you're on the North shore, you definitely should stop in and see this really nice statue of Mr. Rogers. He was a foundational Pittsburgh figure, and did so much for equality, self-respect, and civil rights by just being kind to others, and setting an example of how you could be kind of others and be a good person.

Great tribute to a man who changed the world. Be mindful! There isn’t much parking (especially on the weekends during football season!)

Great memorial to a good man! Fred Rogers was a great person. A man who's ministry was to help small children understand the world in all ways. From what I know he was also very kind and encouraging to adults. Great view of the city from the memorial. The Statue of Fred itself is metallic and the finish looks almost like a slightly melting paste. You can still clearly make out Mr. Rogers though. There are small built in speakers that play clips from his show. For someone who grew up with Fred on TV, or just for a person in general, it is relaxing to hear his calm voice. Right next to his memorial is the police memorial. 50 yards away is a WWII memorial also. Finally is next to a long riverfront trail that continues for a few miles. A great place to walk or bike. Baseball and Football stadiums are also very close.

Mr. Rogers is a television icon, spreading messages of acceptance, love, tolerance and self-care long before it was the language of the Millennials and Gen-Z. His show reached millions of children through PBS and was filmed in Pittsburg. The memorial has some of his more famous dialogues playing on speakers and children love running around and climbing the ramps!
