👍👍 This coffee shop was so delightful to visit! I am originally from the neighborhood, so I grew up always wanting a coffee shop to walk too. When I heard the story of the owners wanting exactly that, I was floored. The coffee was delicious and they accommodated my dairy allergy. I also got a pepperoni... This coffee shop was so delightful to visit! I am originally from the neighborhood, so I grew up always wanting a coffee shop to walk too. When I heard the story of the owners wanting exactly that, I was floored. The coffee was delicious and they accommodated my dairy allergy. I also got a pepperoni roll for later and it was tasty. Hilltop brought back a feeling of nostalgia that made me miss this neighborhood. Now, everytime I visit my parents, I will be visiting this coffee shop. Please do yourself a favor and try Hilltop Coffee!

I love having a coffee shop in this neighborhood. It really brightens up the road it is on and I have always had a positive experience here. The coffee is always good and the staff are friendly!

So cute!! Owner knew all of the customers and said goodbye as they left, super welcoming vibe. They have a bookshelf of reading materials and they played Fleetwood Mac, what mor could you want! Got their seasonal blackberry mint iced coffee - do yourself a favor and do the same.

A cozy coffee shop located in Southside Slopes - it's so nice to have a coffee shop within walking distance and it's locally owned by folks who are from the area which is great. I'm always greeted with such kindness and have spent many afternoons studying here.

Great local coffee shop! The owner lives close, so they are very connected to the community up in the Sout Side Slopes. Coffee is VERY reasonably priced, and the baked goods never disappoint. I love the music they play and there's a bookshelf you can borrow from and bring back! They also have board games if you want to chill with friends. Local community bulletin board is great for finding events, and the servers are fun to chat with. Very friendly place with good coffee and free wifi.

Everything you want your neighborhood coffee shop to be. Great drinks and baked goods. Involved in the community, a resource of information, and all around good people.

Charming little coffee shop with excellent customer service and locally roasted coffee & yummy local made pastries! I had a coffee latte with oat milk, delicious!

Awesome coffee shop! Their steamer specialties are very tasty and well balanced. Excellent pastry selection. The owner is very friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to.

Stopped in for the first time today. Great coffee! They ask have a great variety of local pastries, teas (including decaf chamomile and peppermint), and flavor shots, as well as nondairy milk options. Talking to Dan, one of the owners, today, I learned that they're working on getting vegan and gluten free pastries, as well as decaf espresso! In short, super friendly staff, cute atmosphere (they have board games!), local pastries, and coffee much better than Starbucks are all great reasons to try this place! Support local!

On a scale of cotton candy to Brussels sprouts, Hilltop Coffee is a tiramisu cake. Each bite is layered and delicious. I'm always nervous about visiting new-to-me coffee shops when there's no parking lot in sight, but Hilltop Coffee is surrounded by free street parking! It's set at the corner of two streets, and it offers a few tables on the inside for 2-4 people. I enjoyed my vanilla latte immensely, and I also loved chatting with the barista about reading! It's always a delight to find another book lover. I'd highly recommend a visit to Hilltop Coffee!

It was pretty good, but tbh I can't get over the fact that they charge extra to make your drink iced instead of hot. It's definitely not standard around here, so to me it just seems kind of greedy. Service was good, but as far as the coffee goes, there are other places around that I prefer.
