What beautiful scenery! There are 2 different hiking trail paths to begin. One to the top of the falls and another to the bottom. The actual length of the hike to the falls is not far, but it is steep and full of rocks and roots. My 8 and 11 year old daughters did well, but younger children not used to hiking may have a hard time in spots. The falls were so pretty!

Spectacular cascading waterfall along the Pemebonwan River in Wisconsin. Falls are a 50 foot long slide through rocky terrain. First week of October is a great time to see fall here today. The trails are well defined.

Warm temperatures and snow melt equals flooded falls above and below. It's an awesome hike if it's not flooded lol

We love taking the kids here. The water was up a lot this trip due to the spring melt, and the roar of the water was intense. This is a must stop when we head up to Iron Mountain.

I would recommend this stop on a road trip. Bring the bug spray though 😂

One of several falls we stopped at on our trip. Well worth the hike.

Upper falls aero great, even now when the waters low, lower viewing easy access for the whole family. Outhouse and picnic table at parking area. Small falls just down the riad are great to, though rocky trail might be tuff for small children.
