This is probably the worst experience I've had at a restaurant so far. 1. My patty came raw (photo attached). I kept tasting blood and feeling nauseated for a good while even after we left. When I told them, she wanted to just reheat it instead of replacing. I asked for it to be replaced. 2. Another burger we ordered as wagyu came as literal white meat chicken. How do you even mess this up?? 3. Waitress was gossiping and explaining what happened to our order to another customer near us and it made us really uncomfortable. 4. It was rather hard to get any staff member's attention and some even saw us raising our hand but blatantly ignored us. 5. No water refills, no cutlery, no napkins For the actual burger review: 1/5 It was very dry, unseasoned, barely any sauce or condiments. They did give us a discount however I still wouldn't recommend this branch or this brand for that matter.

5/5 for a tasty, good quality fast food. I love there are gluten free buns and lots of customization options. Very, very tasty!

Decent burger, but it better be for $16! That sad little pile of mediocre fries was over $5. I won’t be going back.

Ordered burger with no pink. Burger came out practically raw and cold. They discounted the burger by 50% so took 8bucks off. I shouldn’t have had to pay a cent for that nasty burger yet alone half. Won’t go back. Our server was awesome though. Very nice.

I had the elk. My son had just a plain cheeseburger and my wife had her own concoction. It was all delicious and cooked just the way we wanted it. It was my son's birthday and he got an amazing free milkshake out of the deal. I want to go back and try the waygu.

I walk in and ordered to go today, It was no customer in the restaurant yet and I ordered to go at the bars and told to pickup in 15 minutes. I came back in to pick up and came home to find out that they didn’t add something in my order but I paid for it. If the restaurant is busy I will not be frustrated about this situation but it was not and seems like they didn’t care about order or customer much. Waterfront one is so much better and will not come back here again

Great service and delicious custom made burgers. I was thrilled to get not only a vegan patty but vegan cheese as well! Most restaurants offer the patty but that's as far as they go. We had a great time and everyone loved their food. Thanks so much!

My wife n I both ordered the double smash burger. Cut them in half to make it more manageable, n one patty is completely raw. Both burgers are the same. A woman who seemed to be the manager came over, apologizes n takes them to make a both a new one. Meanwhile, the other 2 people in our party have finished eating. They bring them back out (new ones), both done correctly. Waitress comes a few minutes later, hands us the check n mentions that she "heard" about our food. No apology. Drops the checks. $41.65(approximately)....her tip was the change. Nice customer service

We have to go back soon. Staff was great. Food was the best. Cooked just as I ask ❤❤❤. Only down was We almost didn't stop because we thought they were closed because the dark entryway. Luckily we saw people and went in....

Great Pittsburgh restaurant! Period. Bar food elevated to a point that it is better than bar food yet affordable and delicious. A spiked shake is fun for the adults and the virgin versions make it a bit of devilious escape for the whole family. Visit if you can.

The best custom burger! Only other burger I can even compare it to and that's in Grove Oklahoma. Flavor excellent, presentation excellent, and lots of choices to please any taste bud! Excellent service staff works together and truly cares about their products and customers! 2 thumbs up👍👍

Took my kid, nephew, and mother there this weekend during the Pirates game. We had a little wait which was to be expected with all the fans in the area. We had a great dinner. No complaints from any of the 4 of us. The burgers and fries were great.

Went here with my church youth group at NEXUS for the senior night before we went off to college. The food was 🔥 and the burgers were the best part! We got special seating outside for the group but couldn't figure out how to turn the lights on where we were sitting. You have to try their Cookie Monster Smoothie if you stop by!

Burger was good, I wanted another one for the next few days. I really like their pretzel bun. Fries were very good too. Shake wasn't great but that probably had more to do with the flavor I ordered rather than the quality. I was happy with the service too. I certainly could do without all the TVs though.

I worked here through an app and their kitchen staff is amazing. Everyone is super friendly, patient, and communicates well. You guys have to order the nachos and the birthday cake shake it’s super delicious 🤤 🔥

Food was excellent, but our server was new and very inattentive. Our food came out VERY staggered (15 minutes apart for burgers is a little ridiculous). Our server didn't check on us unless bringing food. We ordered some shakes before our check arrived and waited about 20 minutes after our check for them with no indication of our server at all. We paid for the full meal AND the shakes but ended up leaving without them. Excellent food, very poor service. Disheartening to say the least.

We really enjoyed Burgatory after not having been here for about 10 years. We ordered the fries with gorgonzola cheese and they were fantastic! My burger was cooked too much for what I asked for, but that was really the only negative. I like that you can customize your burger. We got 2 non-alcoholic shakes that were good as well. Fairly priced for the experience.

One of the best burgers I've had in awhile. You can customize so many different combinations for whatever kind of palate you may have. (Yes they even have a plant based burger) Milkshakes are some of the best also. Highly recommend.

Meat Your Maker; juicy and tasty burger, good mix of toppings. Kettle chips are excellent! Beans need to pair with slaw. Not cheap, but food is worth it. Service was courteous and effective! Server was eager to help.

I'm always seated quickly, everyone is always super friendly, the food and drinks are always hot or miss. Asked for an over easy egg on my medium burger and got a fully fried egg on a well done burger. The margarita is delicious when they get it right and still pretty good when they get it wrong, but it's $10+ so it feels like it should probably be right every time. Overall I go here pretty often and 80% of the time I'm satisfied, so 4/5 stars.

My Wife and I shared a meal here. It seemed unusually low traffic for a Friday afternoon/evening. My Bison burger was delicious and my Wife had no complaints about her farmer's burger. Overall I'd give it a glowing review. I love eating burgers all over the place and this isn't my first time at a Burgatory. I would have to say though that for being one of 3 parties in the facility dining in, the food took a little longer than expected. Surely I thought to myself it would be super fresh food as well but my fries weren't piping hot. The burger was but I could tell the fries were sitting for a little while during the cooking of the burgers. No real complaints, again. Everything from the service to the food was fantastic. Fresh piping hot fries would have made it a 5/5 for sure.

If you want a great burger, topped off with a milkshake or a hard milkshake, this is the place to go. All the burgers are custom-made, prepared any way that you want. You can have up to three types of fresh meats combined for the ultimate flavor. If you’re a beer connoisseur, they will have what you need to enjoy your meal. Every time that I went there their service was quick and with a smile. You can also order ahead of time and pick up behind the restaurant at their pick up door. You really can’t go wrong here for a hefty burger and a custom drink.

Nice place, not to big. But just enough space for you & family or friends to enjoy yourself. Good selection of IPA beer. Great burger & fires. The place was clean too. Which is a major plus. Service was good.

We wanted a "different" (read: not a basic national chain) place to eat when we were in Pittsburgh for the day. I chose this place because my husband is obsessed with burgers. He was super happy. Kids enjoyed their food. Would definitely skip the chips next time in favor for fries as the side. Both me and my husband custom ordered our burgers (elk and waygu respectively) and we enjoyed it all very much. Even finished it off with a milkshake. Our waitress was patient and explained our options. She was great! Excellent service. Would definitely return next time we're in town. 😁

Excellent food and the milkshakes are not to be missed. Arrived for an early dinner and had no problem getting a seat. Later might be a different story.

It was great food and very customizable. Looking forwards to going and getting another custom made masterpiece. Definitely a great place for an evening down in the city.!!

The staff was talking and not helping people while there was a line of people waiting 40 min for their food. We asked about the status of our order after waiting 45 min for 2 cheesesteaks and they had not even started making anything yet. Really disappointed with the level of care from the staff.

Some of the things I experienced can be because of the pandemic, and I'm willing to let slide but some things I cannot. I just ordered for drive up take out. Tried calling the number over and over and no one picked up. Decided to park and go in. Food was sitting there to be picked up. Took it back to the car and started eating. Noticed I didn't have an extra I paid for. Annoying but still fine. Both burgers were incredibly dry. Annoying but still edible. Then I saw a black hair in mine. So I went through that experience to realize I bought a $16 burger (before tax and tip) to have to throw it away. Disappointing.

The food overall was good...But the sauce on wings the BBQ sauce i didn't like. This was my son's 1st time here and he wants to come back our burgers were worth the wait....

Perfect experience from the lovely lady that greeted us at the front door to the server that waited on us! My husband and I came in between lunch and dinner hours. The place was quiet but wait staff was attentive and food did not take long at all. We both got burgers and shakes and everything was really good. I had so much food I could barely eat at all! We'll definitely be back! Highly recommend the caramel pretzel milkshake!
