I have to say despite its reputation I have not had a bad experience here at all! And Crystal is so helpful! I didn’t see any bugs! Anything needed….asked for and got! In the process of redoing some rooms .. very excited to see the outcome !! The rate is totally worth it!

Almost a century old, this definitely has the feeling of the old motor court hotels. The age is showing, quite a bit in some spots, but it was clean and that's what matters the most for my husband and myself. We don't need a heated pool, just a clean shower. The staff was great, checking us in after 10, getting more pillows and blankets, and were super polite. Each room has a theme, so if mounted wildlife bother you, ask for the railroad (where my husband wants to stay next time) or American flag room. They have bbq grills set up for the guests to use, and a coin washer and dryer. We interacted with quite a few people in town and they were all complimentary of the owners and staff of the motel.

Honestly, this place is amazing. Crystal and Justin took a chance when they didnt have to and saved us from being homeless. The community we found inside that parking lot helped build us up and gave us the strength to keep going. They are constantly working on improving the place and genuinely pout their hearts and souls into the place.

Not a bad place to stay. Nothing fancy but it serves its purpose.... of course you got the one tenant(crackhead) that's always loud and obnoxious.... but yeah I'd stay again.

Extremely impressed with this little country motel. I flew in from Los Angeles for a 4 night stay. My grandma is a resident of a local nursing home and I came home to look after her for a few days. The staff was stellar, my room was clean and comfortable and I was very happy with my stay. I would recommend this quaint little place to anyone looking for an inexpensive, quiet and clean place to stay. The prices can't be beat and you don't lose quality while you save money. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thanks for taking care of me while I took care of my Grandma!!!

Don’t bother. Just drive up to Paola. This is so sad. We’ve stayed here off and on over the years but it has deteriorated too much. Positives: nice towels, good tv, fridge and microwave. Reasonably clean room. Just the normal amenities missing. We made reservations but our rooms weren’t ready. I had to ask for a door mat, go to the office for TP (no holder) then again for a trash basket. My sister had to ask for soap and asked for an extra pillow but was refused. No bath mat, no soap or shampoo for the tub. One hand towel rack. So if you stay here, bring your own stuff. We won’t stay here again

Absolutely the nastiest dump ever. Crackheads fighting. He's on ceiling. No towels no TV no bathroom mirror, name it. No curtains! But best part ..... crackheads fighting outside. Junk cars littering the parking lot full of garbage. Stay far away from here

Don’t stay here. Just don’t. We paid for a week, stayed literally only one night. Couldn’t reach the owners after the first night to get a refund. Got bed bugs all over our bodies. We just had to go. Hopefully they see some improvements. The owners did seem nice just hard to get ahold of.

this is not an actual hotel. they charge weekly, or monthly. you'll pay a 10% fee if you pay on a card. they don't exchange or wash your towels, linens or clean your room for you at all. one person works here, total. the walls are very thin so expect to hear everyone's business weather you want to or not. lock your vehicles as well. sketchy part of town as well.
