Small Town eatery that can't be touched. Awesome food. I have yet to get something off their menu that I didn't like! The staff is some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Don't stop at Beto Junction for food make the extra drive to this place. PS. The wanton pizza is amazing.

My mom lives and works in Waverly and knows practically everyone so of course she knew the owner who made our visit here awesome! We went here for my deceased uncle's birthday celebration and this would have been his kind of restaurant! From the chicken nachos, fries, steak salad, the pizza, and the burgers every single thing everyone had was soooo good! The hamburgers were so big and cooked just right! They have desert as well (cake and pies). Pretty good size bar and a good selection. It's a good size space that would probably fit 20 people inside and 20 more outback on their patio area and outdoor bar. The decorations, tall cealings and the atmosphere makes the small space feel big and comfortable! I'll be back💙.

We had a 3-day event in Waverly, KS that was catered by the Timeout Tavern. The food, the service and the people we worked with were all Outstanding! I would highly recommend them as caterers for your event!

It pains me to give this place such a low review like this. I know the people behind Tavern, and they are really nice people, and you'd always have a good time with them. But, unfortunately, I've always had mixed thoughts on this place every time I went over. Today, I decided to get a classic pepperoni pizza for dinner for me and my grandma. I specified to the cashier to put light cheese on the pizza because the last few times I've had pizza from here, there was just too much cheese for my liking. After a few minutes, I get the pizza, pay for it, and head back home. As soon as I opened the box, I knew I bought myself a one-way ticket to Dairy-ville because this pizza was LOADED with extra cheese (which, may I remind you, I asked for LIGHT cheese). Barely any pepperoni on the pizza, but I'm not gonna dock off a point for that because their pepperoni supply was low. As I took my first couple bites of the pizza, all I could taste was the mozzarella. I couldn't find the treasurous taste that was either the sauce, the pepperoni, or even the crust. All I could taste was the cheese. That's it. However, besides the pizza, there were a few times when I had some of their other items, such as their burgers and curly fries. Those are really good, though. Hats off to you, Tavern, for at least having a good burger and fry item. Again, it hurts me to give this place such a low review, but I'm gonna have to give Time-Out Tavern a 3/5. I can get why people enjoy eating at this place, but honestly, it's just not for me.

I've been there about 50 times, and they knocked it out of the park 95% of the time. Great burgers and sides (pea salad, pub corn, and potato salad). Garlic bread is amazing and the pizzas are good. It's a great place to have some cold beers, and a must attend when they have live music. They keep the menu fresh with daily specials. Be sure to pay with cash to avoid 3% credit card fee. I wish they had a fryer, but the fries are OK without the fryer. Amy is the best.

We were visiting from out of town and stopped in to get take-out lunch. Our burgers were delicious! The fries were average. The people who helped us were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was clean and fun. We will return.

The employees are very efficient, informative & professional. A very comfortable place to enjoy great food & an atmosphere that is friendly & fun for the whole family to enjoy! Or, if your into watching sports, your in the perfect place for any game day. Whether it is football, baseball...whatever sport you fancy, there is an abundance of TV's so everyone has a great view & no one is left out. I loved The Time Out Tavern & will definitely be back!

This place is a hidden gem. The people are very friendly., the food is delicious (I personally recommend the Philly Cheesesteak) and the environment is relaxing and pleasant. If you are anywhere in the vicinity of Waverly, it's worth stopping in. Thank you to the staff for such amazing experience.
