No need to go to NYC!! I ordered the combination platter with steak and lamb. It totally hit the spot. Staff was so kind and the food was beyond delicious!

Ms. Nadia has THE BEST food with the best prices! And in less than 15 minutes. I love going in to see her, and Manhattan has became my favorite weekday lunch spot! It goes beyond the food, though. She genuinely cares about her customers. Go give her a visit and see what you have been missing!

As someone who is a fan of the Halal Guys in New York i must say this is as close as you can get found here at this Birmingham location. The food was fresh and made to order. I had the lamb that was delicious and the small meal was almost more food than I could eat. The service was welcoming and took time while we chose what meats and sides we wanted. The red sauce is no joke. Just the right amount of fire and flavor. I highly recommend this place to anyone and look forward to when I can return.

All five stars and let me tell you why. My sweet lady and I walked in 10 minutes before close. Having worked in the service industry I knew it was bad form but we just left a concert and HAD to eat. These brothers and their small staff welcomed us in and made us two plates. One Lamb (delicious) and one steak (also delicious). It was a lot of food. It was still hot when we got home and some of the best food we have had in Bham in a while! A1 to the staff, the vibes and the grub. We are going back ASAP!

If you have ever eaten meat over rice bowls in Manhattan at the Halal Guys or Adeles food trucks, this is for you! Owner is so welcoming and excited to share what he and his family have brought from the Big Apple to the Magic City. The large platter is $14+ but is easily 2 meals. In fact, the pic posted here with this review is my leftovers! Choices of lamb, chicken, steak or combo. True NYC street food in the heart of 20th Street. Can't say enough about how awesome thia spot is! Go try it!

Ordered the chicken combination for take-out tonight, the food and service was amazing! As a New York local I can confirm this is the real deal!! Food was so good I didn't even have time to take a picture - Will definitely be coming back and recommending. Thanks guys!

Hands Down Best Deli I have Been to!!! Owner was so nice! My boyfriend and myself got the Italian sandwich. We will most definitely be back when we visit again!

This place is pretty good but highly over priced for Sam's food is what you're getting. Friendly people here but as all eating places your money is all this place about.

So much on the menu that I want to try, but I find it hard to order anything but the philly! Perfect for lunch and definitely one of the more affordable places in the area to eat at! (Edit: finally tried the burger. Wasn't impressed. Going back to the Philly) Knocked off a star because refills are not included on the public facing fountain drinks. If you didn't want it to be self service, please consider putting it behind the counter instead of taping up a makeshift sign.

I love everything I ever put in my mouth here. The service is amazing. The lovely Nadia will take care of you and make sure you have some super dank grub in your stomach when you leave. The motif makes you feel like you're in downtown NYC. Stop on by and get yourself some food from this awesome downtown spot.

Delicious New York style Mediterranean food in Birmingham. The first time I had this dish was at the original Halal Guys stand in New York. Ahki's food is just as good, if not better! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Service was excellent and the owner is right there on the front lines serving and educating customers who've never tried this type of cuisine before. Great experience overall.
