I love this place...Its pickup and delivery only but there's a place you can eat outside if you.. can stand the humidity this week. You can wait inside for your food and look at the memories and cool memorabilia or sit down and solve a Rubik's cube. I had the North end panini and it was sooooo good after a long days work. I definitely recommend if your close and want a sandwich or something sweet...come here.. The pastry case was tempting...

Jovito’s is a quant and delicious Italian cafe & deli in the Waldo/Brookside area. I live in the area and anytime I’m craving a fresh salad or homemade marinara sauce, I know I can count on Jovitos! I love their homemade tomato meat sauce and Greek salad. Make sure to try their cheesecake….amazing!!

After driving by Jovito's wayy too many times, I finally stopped and went in to try it out. I was blown away. First, the waiting area for your food is extremely comfortable. The staff are extremely nice. The meat sauce is the best I've had in KC and the Chicken Caesar is also my favorite I've ran across in KC. The food quality, consistency, and lovely staff have made it my new favorite spot in KC. I try and stop by every 2 weeks to pick up food or have it delivered. If you haven't been, I highly recommend stopping by and checking it out. Also, their rolls are fantastic and an added plus. 6/5!

The newest restaurant in waldo is a big hit! Jovito's Italian cafe in waldo offers a great selection of classic as well as contemporary Italian food on their ample menu. Easy to find near 75th and worrnal road with limited street parking but plenty in the back lot. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable and seemed really happy to see us! My wife and I tried the grinders, both the meatball and sausage and meatball. We enjoyed them both so much that I went back the next day to try the Italian steak sandwich. Offering only carry out and curbside pickup. Go get a sack full of the grinders! You wont regret it.

I found this deli spot, and had wanted to visit, had a great chance today. Found out they only have outside dining (tables in access way, and back patio) and takeout or pickup. We ordered great things for lunch. I wanted some of their cucumber salad, as that's my favorite snd I'm always looking for this side. I had penne pasta with meat sauce, my favorite for lunch, and wifey had a turkey sandwich. Both great. They have Italian beef, and will give it a try next time. We got used to that from having a Portillo's near us in Orange County, and am glad to see it here. Being in Waldo and with the streets being busy, you park in back. If you're like me and don't get around, there's no front parking by the entrance. There is handy parking in the back, and a walkway to the front for them and other businesses there. I added a sign mentioning the original Smokestack, lots of nice memorabilia while you wait if you don't order ahead. Had our order ready and on our way.

This place has the best Calzone I have eaten in my lice up until now. It was perfect! Flakey soft crust and super cheesy inside. I got meatball, mushroom, and ricotta as the three fillings. I was so impressed and enjoyed every bite. I also got the Italian wedding cookies, and they were also delicious. They were homemade as well. You can't eat inside but they have a porch area that works great on a nice day.

Best Italian food I have had in KC metro. Being a vegetarian, I had a lot of choices to pick from the menu. The caprese panini was incredibly fresh and delicious. Fettuccine Alfredo was extra yummy thanks to the generous amount of the Alfredo sauce. Can't wait to go back.

Some of the best italian in KC! Wife and I ordered a couple of weeks ago for ourselves and really enjoyed it. We were having some friends over recently and decided to order a tray of lasagna, house salad, and bread. Everything tasted amazing. All of our guest really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

First time customer - delivery. Absolutely delicious! Ravioli with tomato & meat sauce / olive salad. A really pleasant surprise. Jovitos is the "real deal" for Italian food. Even the brownie was excellent. Also, great drink selection - ginger beer & Jarritos soda. My new favorite. ( everything was also nicely packaged)

So glad I finally decided to try this place. I ordered take out and had the chicken parm over spaghetti. The portion was pretty big and I couldn’t finish it all. The tiramisu was really good too. I will definitely be eating here again. Staff was also really nice when we came in to pick up the food. Overall a great experience.

Had Jovito's for the second time last night, and it was just as excellent as the first time. I moved to Kansas City from Chicago, and the combo sandwich from Portillo's was one of my favorites. I hadn't found anything similar in Kansas City until I saw the Italian Beef & Sausage Combo. I decided to give it a try. It was different than Portillo's in that it includes marinara on top--not what I was expecting, but it was absolutely incredible. The first time I went I had the lasagna, and it was excellent too. The staff is very friendly too. As stated above, I've only been twice, but I will absolutely be coming much more often.

Got a meatball/pepperoni grinder that was delicious! The cookies for dessert were yummy too! Everyone was super helpful and the place had a welcoming charm to it...will definitely be back soon!

Very nice Lil Italian cafe. The meatball grinders are AMAZING, they remind me so much of my childhood.❣️The staff is always so friendly and helpful. This has definitely became a permanent rotation for carry-out for my family.

Meatball grinder, ohhh so amazingly yummy. Great desserts also. In fact everything looks good, but I just can’t stop re ordering the grinder, I’m addicted. I did share some toasted ravioli that was also top notch. Eat here!

As you walk in, it feels like you've walked in to your italian family members' home, great spot. Only outdoor seating, we got take away. Excellent service, recommendations, and food. We'll definitely becoming back.
