We got the tacos but I will definitely be going back to try different menu items! The food was prepared fresh after we ordered and the guy working there was very nice and welcoming. They were not busy when we went so our food was ready in no time. Their habanero salsa was my favourite. If you like BBQ and Mexican food you'll like this place. The meats had tons of flavour, the chicken and the al pastor were my favourites but the asada taco was really good too. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!

2/27/23 Iv been reading good reviews about this place and I finally did it. Not a big place, or was it busy. Clean and smelled like BBQ! Either BBQ, tacos or burrito. Unfortunately no soda fountain. They have can soda and bottle water. I got carne asada burrito with absolutely the best Spanish rice I've ever had. The pork and bean soup was flavored and good, but not for me. The burrito was standard size and was good. The salsa was absolutely amazing! Two kinds. Don't know the name but was home made and great! The owner was nice enough to let me try a rib. Amazing. I'll be going back for more.

In a town known for BBQ Fuego’s is definitely a standout. Try the chicken! It is amazing. And then there is the beans. They are the best beans I’ve had. Full stop. Kansas City don’t sleep on this place!

Best carnitas tacos in town hands down. Sergio smokes his meats, his method makes the flavors explode! The smoked wings are great and the ribs fall off the bone. My wife and I love this place!

The food is delicious and the owners are very friendly. I usually order the chicken burrito, but I wanted to try the ribs so I ordered the kids rib platter. The ribs were delicious and the platter was enough to fill me up. I will continue to support Fuegos BBQ

Excellent!!!! Sergio makes the best BBQ in Kansas City. My family loved it. The meat was so good and tender that it could be eaten without sauce. Loved the grilled onions and charro beans.

This is a great place to go and feel welcomed. The owner/cook has excellent customer service skills. He suggests food based on your taste and he does not disappoint. Greatest Mexican I’ve had in a very long time! The food is as aunthentic as it can get 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

The asada torta was one of the best I've ever had. Tasty, tender, juicy meat and really nice bread. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a good meal at a good price.

BBQ and Mexican are my two favorite things ever! This place hits the spot for either one you are craving. The ribs were perfection! The beans are really good. Great service too!! I want to go back already!

Just wow! This is one of my all time favorite Mexican restaurants now! Two friends and I decided to give it a try and I am glad we did. I had steak tacos, which were great tasting and they were presented very well. One of my friends had the pastor tacos which were my favorite. Those tasted awesome and were similar presentation. The third person had the pork sandwich which he loved also. I almost ordered 4 more tacos just to take home. Wish I took pictures but the good looked way to good and I got lost in it 😂 If you haven't been here, go try it! I will certainly be making the drive from blue springs to eat here frequently.

Absolutely amazing food. Mexican BBQ was a win. The pork ribs we large and well cooked and even better seasoned. Flavorful and juicy. The tacos were very well done. The tortillas were wonderful and the rice was delicious. They have a very unique recipe for bbq beans. The walls a had beautifully done painting. The restaurant was clean and the service was wonderful.

Best place ever! My husband discovered this hidden treasure and we go there as often as possible now. He has been taking friends as well. The other day he brought me 4 soft Street tacos. Green sauce and lime wedges. It is one of the best things I have EVER EATEN in my life! Now the owner of this place is another matter.....he is always welcoming, always happy. Its a joy to know him. Thank you for bringing us so much joy and wonderful food. We will be back over and over again!

I have driven past this place many times until a coworker took me there. This place is amazing. The tacos are some of the best I have ever had. We picked up some breakfast burritos for the crew this morning and they were outstanding as well. Stop in and be impressed!

Excellent Mexican BBQ restaurant. Near the entrance, you're greeted by the smell from their smoker. Once inside you're greeted by the workers as if you're a casual goer. Their menu is super simple. I got the Chicken/Ribs combo while my girlfriend got the 4 soft shell tacos. Everything tasted fantastic! Their hot sauce that comes in the red bottle is great in flavor and heat! If you're zipping through the city, this place is a must.

Ordered a brisket sandwich with grilled onions, also 4 tacos tried every flavor and also got a steak,egg,cheese and potato burrito. All in all the food had amazing taste the owners are awesome people even let us try some of the ribs the only thing I could see changing would be maybe Including the rice with the tacos.

Friendly staff. Food was excellent! I got the Carne Asada burrito. Came with rice and beans, you can choose those inside or out of the burrito. 2 different hot sauces, both were great. I will absolutely be trying the other menu items. If you like real Mexican food, this is your place. Very very good.

Stopped in because I saw they had high praise in the reviews. Wasn't super hungry so I just ordered a pastor burrito. Not very impressive. Not very flavorful, the pork was chili spicy but really can't taste much else in it. No reason to trash the place based off of one burrito, but also not very likely to return since there's plenty of other places nearby
