Great gym, owner, and coaching! Or just use the Open Gym to follow your own programming at your own hours. Friendly people. Highly recommended

Unmatched programming. Open 24/7. And serious results. Other weightlifting gyms cost the same, but they don’t deliver results like this gym does. Head coach knows his stuff and undeniably the best Olympic lifting coach I have EVER had. If I could rate 10 stars, I would

Found BASA by chance and could not be happier that I did. The facility is well maintained and there has been a steady stream of new equipment since I started. The people are welcoming and dedicated. Most importantly, the Coaches are knowledgeable and I absolutely love the programming. Coming from crossfit and perpetual shoulder injury, the coaches at BASA worked with me to fix imbalances, correct faulty movement patterns, and get strong and healthy. Jason is always open to feedback and adjusting your program when necessary. Following his programs, I have become a more proficient lifter and have gotten significantly stronger in a short period of time. Also, meet day coaching is on point! I was completely in awe during my first few meets as everything is taken care of for you. I could go on for while about all the things I love at BASA, but I'd highly suggest just scheduling an appointment with Jason and seeing for yourself :)

I've put 25 kilos/55lbs on my total in a few months. That's the review. Additionally - Jason, the head coach, has the best eye of any coach I've known, and I truly feel every cue he gives makes a big difference in how a lift feels. He knows when on a lifter's journey to give what cue, and does so maintaining a kind, supportive, and positive energy in his coaching style and in the gym. I've also felt extremely supported by the very knowledgeable assistant coaches, especially Yaj and Santi. Finally, there's nothing that catapults improvement like being in an environment with talented, hardworking, *strong* athletes, especially when they're of the caliber of BASA (many go to nationals, and a few even medal). Can't recommend highly enough to anyone looking to learn or improve the olympic lifts.

BASA has a great vibe and diverse clientele that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. For women especially, this is a great place to lift since there are plenty of strong, experienced women here to inspire you! Jason, the owner and head coach, is super patient and spent lots of time teaching me the right Olympic weightlifting technique, with a strong focus on avoiding injury. As a total beginner, this was very helpful and encouraging. I highly recommend BASA to anyone who wants to get stronger and learn the right way to lift, in a friendly and supportive environment. All gyms should be like BASA - this place is awesome!

BASA is more than just a gym, if you're a strength athlete it's a one stop shop to reach all your training goals. Jason and his coaching staff have a wealth of invaluable knowledge when it comes to training Weightlifters & other strength athletes. Cannot recommend enough!

This gym is truly one-of-a-kind. The head coach Jason is extremely knowledgeable; not just about Olympic lifting and building muscle, but also about nutrition, recovery, and mental toughness. It's an excellent community where you can really get huge strength and fitness results.

BASA Gym is a wide open space that is thoughtfully configured with equipment that serves the needs of serious Olympic weightlifters and powerlifters. This gym has a competitive, but friendly and supportive environment, and its coaches competently work with lifters of all experience levels (as evidenced by a membership that includes national competitors and novice lifters alike).
